Most of them probably wouldn't even knock you out if it was skin to skin instead of helmet to helmet though. The helmet makes a much less squishy target that puts more leverage into hits from the right angle, usually being at the jaw, which causes the KO. So if you didn't die you'd be fine
Nah if they did hit as hard without pads they would be done for but they wouldn't because they would get more hurt so they wouldn't hit as hard
@@codyferris5938 exactly. There are rec football teams who don’t wear pads and helmets and their injury rates are so much lower cuz they don’t hit as hard. There’s like almost enough evidence to prove the “protective” equipment in regular football is actually more dangerous

I remember playing long long long time ago. Usually hits shock you. Easy to shake it off. But every now and then, not every game, maybe once or twice a season, those helmet on helmet would rattle me from top to bottom. Ugg. Those sucked.
Man, I'm fortunate I was under center when I played. Seeing some of those hits my receivers would take even rattled me some times. Luckily I never saw anyone get knocked out but still, if you can hear it, you can feel it.

@@onnak because defensive players put their heads forwards, not down. Offensive players try to put their head down and shoulder up so it doesn't happen, and then the defense does stupid stuff like that and causes injury
