Deanes was pretty wobbly but he did have a better chase. The wobbles definitely screwed with the chase or Adam would be slapping the car through the whole lap. I think they gave it to Deane on politics.

been trying to learn how to drift on assetto with my wheel setup, I know it isn't exactly a representation of real-life drifting, but it's really put into perspective on how hard it is to do. Grats on your podium man, been watching a long time now, super proud of you and the team and how far you've all come!
Assetto feels pretty damn good given that it's almost impossible to represent the actual g-forces an actual car will feel, have fun learning drifting (and remember, don't learn to control a car via clutch kicks, learn throttle control instead as that's actually applicable to real driving)
@can_with_beans that's what I'm currently doing, learning throttle control within Figure 8s, moving onto a track I like, and trying to link everything together. The issue is I don't have a handbrake, but I've kinda gotten used to not having one, but it's definitely my next upgrade for sure
@vein444 Having a handbrake is definitely helpful, it can help you reach the outside of a corner or just stagnate the radius of your drift, but if you can do the same thing without a handbrake you'll get 2 things: 1: Achieve Takumi Fujiwara status 2: Once you get a handbrake, your drifts will be infinitely more skillful than someone who learned by relying on a handbrake At the end of the day, most tracks can be fully linked without the need for a handbrake, but getting deep into outer zones is made harder is what I've found in my own assetto experience. Anyways thanks for this convo, inspired my to set up my sim and play some assetto tonight lolz

I have seen so many people hating all over social media, saying that Adam got podiun because others cars failed, but didnt mention the battles he did were all top notch. Even the DM judges said Adams lose to the pound for pound best in the business, James Deane, was a close one and followed it up with a close one with Piotr, keeping his cool throughtout it all. He earned that podium and I truly believe hes gonna follow it up with a podium in irwindale.
It was good to see you drive the car you brought instead of making a ton of changes. Just the couple adjustments and then driving the hell out of that car. Congrats you deserve it. Not many people work as hard as you.
The most amazing drift event I've ever been too and probably will ever go too. To be there in person was absolutely amazing and to see Adam driving great against the best driver in Poland and the best in the world was crazy. Top it all off we run into you and the crew at the Airport... me and the wife yelling to Adam "Congratulations" across the Warsaw airport and everyone looking at us crazy Americans praising the LZ team was funny.

I knew from the start that the improvement from your driving’s going to be massive once u did a full season pf dmec. You’re gonna be a beast in fd next season.
I love how driftmaster pretty much created this round an even playing field for everyone. No car is faster than the other car not like FD where cars are pretty much just competing who is the fastest at this point. This round is pretty much just pure skills. Not smoking people and playing catch up like FD.

I think Assetto Corsa is harder to drift than IRL! But what you learn definitely transfers.

I knew from the start that the improvement from your driving’s going to be massive once u did a full season pf dmec. You’re gonna be a beast in fd next season.
I love how driftmaster pretty much created this round an even playing field for everyone. No car is faster than the other car not like FD where cars are pretty much just competing who is the fastest at this point. This round is pretty much just pure skills. Not smoking people and playing catch up like FD.

I followed the live stream, it seems that you found the sweet spot with the car! Looking forward to next time when you drift it with the addition of nitrogen, are you competing next year?
