      Linux runs photoshop better than Windows? holy. I am actually a little technical. You can't download 100GB of ISO being normal, and if it's trash for me, then it's safe to say that Linux is trash for a majority of the people.

      @gurshaantiwana Photoshop is just a metaphor. There is a huge amount of supreme software that runs on Windows exclusively. Photoshop is light-year ahead of GIMP. GIMP is a joke, and not a funny joke.
      100GB of ISO is typical. There are 1000+ Linux distro, each distro also have 3-20 variations, so you need to download 1000*20=20,000GB worth of ISO to test all Linux OSs. Only need 5GB to test Windows 11.

      @@flyandacexo6852 everything has alternatives, and there will be for Photoshop that could be close enough or better, but I can't say for sure as I never use these. Only the person who used it can tell.
      Regarding you saying a lot of distros, why do you need to try them all? Almost all of those are derived/built on top of either debian, fedora or arch. Arch is out of the question if you are not an advanced user.
      There are just 2 now, and you don't need to try both as they both serve a different purpose.
      Also, there are different types of foods, but do you need to try all of those, to be happy in life? There are lots of apps for the same work, on windows/android, do you try all apps before deciding which one you use?

    • @heybuddylookimanengineer
      @heybuddylookimanengineer 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @flyandacexo6852 photoshop and gimp have alternatives that are as or even more powerful than the original option. You have alternatives like Affinity Photo, the open source program Krita, Photopea, and many others that work on Linux. the average linux iso can be 1 gib to 100 gibs and can* (dependent on how many apps/packages are installed) take up to less than 10 gibs when installed. Windows 11's ISO is 5.1 gibs, which is very small, but when installed to a computer, it can take up around 30+ gibs of storage. EndeavourOS, an Arch Linux based distro, has an ISO size of 2.4 gibs, making it smaller than Window's ISO. Linux can be storage efficient - but as my earlier note said, it's dependent on how many packages it has, what desktop environment it uses, and what's generally on it.

      Gaming computers are expensive in comparison to a normal computer that you can do some work on, so you don't really need a supercomputer to write some documents. It would be a waste of money, and consumes too much electricity. People who want to play the latest game, would have new hardware and software anyway. Hard core gamers will probably not use Windows 7, but there are plenty of older games that can be played on a windows 7 machine without much problem.

      My friend, using a computer is not hard. Using a computer that can empower you as an individual is hard, and it's easier done on Microsoft computers. So you can use Linux as much as you want, but at the end of day, you haven't really been considered computed.

      @@flyandacexo6852 Yes, Microsoft Windows may "empower" a user, but you aren't understanding what the user is saying. They are telling you that they switched from Windows to Linux because of how Microsoft has been handling their OS in recent years. The user doesn't like how Microsoft has been incorporating bloatware, spying, and many other things that've turned this person away from the product. This user turned to Linux for more freedom rather than being locked in an operating system/kernel that has been closed source. You may have your opinion about how Windows is the greatest OS, but in my eyes, after Windows 10, Windows has been a garbage OS due to the many issues proposed by Microsoft's updates and terms updating. After switching to Linux, I felt more empowered and had my productivity go up because of the many things I, myself, have added to my arsenal of applications/packages. In the end, it is up to your choosing on how YOU feel towards an operating system.

    • @zenodotusofathens2122
      @zenodotusofathens2122 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @flyandacexo6852 Using a Linux system is harder due to command prompts and other issues associated with a much smaller percentage of folks using Linux. • @flyandacexo6852
      @flyandacexo6852  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @zenodotusofathens2122 You don't feel less empowered because you have been out there in the wild and utilizing your computer to its full potential. Have you learned a new language using your computer? I am not talking about computer programming, but real human language. Have you met any girl or boy using your computer and actually married to one using a Microsoft computer? Probably not, but people are doing just that, and you have been missing out. The term computed means all the possibilities that you can think of, can be achieved using a computer, especially on a Windows computer because there are many people using this ecosystem. You have more apps to use for and more people to connect to. You are not really standing up for anything, but deprive yourself of the opportunity for happiness and inner peace.

    Scary penguin 😂, more like crappy squares. Give me your arguments why Windows is better than Linux: 1.Program compatibility: there Is a thing called WINE; 2. Looks: there are a million customizations: desktop environments, icons, themes, window managers, shell extensions, etc.; 3.Power consumption: Michelsoft Winblows eats twice more CPU and RAM than Arch Linux, Debian, Fedora, and I can go forever. Anything else?

    • @flyandacexo6852
      @flyandacexo6852  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      1, Wine is for people who want to get drunk and make believe; 2, a million customizations sounds very tiresome, but wait, there are more? 3, it's easy to see how much power is really consumed, especially on a laptop. The lie can be easily debunked.

    • @lubomirylieviy6479
      @lubomirylieviy6479 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @flyandacexo6852 But WINE is app for Linux, a compatibility layer for Windows apps. I mean not the sounds but the looks, you can make Ubuntu look like MacOS, KDE Neon, Linux Mint, Debian KDE, and any distro with MATE or KDE Plasma can look like windows with customizations. 3. Yeah, yeah yeah my gaming laptop when running Windows 11 sounds like a plane and in Linux it's dead silent. Games on WINE or Proton ( steam games use Proton to run on Linux, do not confuse, this is not Proton VPN) can run only about 5-10 fps slower than on Windows. Linux is the Cummins diesel Dodge RAM - it never breaks, and is super powerful!!! Windows 7 is unsupported, so good luck not getting a virus when connecting to the internet. Btw MacOS runs ok on PC, if it has supported hardware then it will run fine. MacOS is beautiful, but if you have AMD CPU's then this is not an option. Even without customizations KDE, GNOME, look beautiful, but still not every desktop environment looks good, take a look at XFCE it looks like garbage, LXDE also looks quite bad. Even more arguments why Windows is better.

Also it's very important to backup the drivers. They are more compact and more important. I would not say my videos are rant-free, but if I saw something bad, I am going to want to talk about it. I only add voice to my video because I have recently done some research on TTS and am able to get the computer to speak. TTS has been around for decades, yet there is still no good software that is freely available to turn text into speech. TTS can be utilized as an extremely empowering tool for a lot of people.

    Frustrating dependence on terminal.... Nailed it

      I would say you have nailed a quarter of it. You need 3 extra nails: 1, the terminal is fun, but when it's being forced on you, then it's a violation. 2, internet is always required to install all those dependencies'. 3, the lack of an elegant and universal installer such as msi Windows Installer is the main reason why the creepy penguin is still living in the dark age, and of course the reason for that is that they don’t care about their users.
      PS. flatpak is not the answer.

      @@flyandacexo6852 I agree that windows is a very good operating system but wow, I have watched the video and I have no clue what you're trying to say.
      "The terminal is fun, but when it's being forced on you, then it's a violation."
      Firstly, the terminal isn't forced onto you most modern Linux distributions, like Ubuntu, Fedora, or Pop OS provide simple, user-friendly graphical interfaces to complete many if not all general tasks. Furthermore, advanced issues on windows regularly need powershell and/or command prompt to fix (i.e. BIOS Utilities).
      "Internet is always required to install all those dependencies."
      Windows 11 home mandates an internet connection to install the OS (as you know). Secondly, windows usually requires an internet connection for updates and driver downloads.
      Since windows has the same problem your argument is complete garbage.
      "The lack of an elegant and universal installer such as MSI Windows Installer is the main reason why the creepy penguin is still living in the dark age."
      Misunderstanding: Linux does have universal installers like as Flatpak, Snap, and AppImage
      Secondly, installing through package managers (such as pacman, apt, dnf) are more streamlined and faster than windows installers as they resolve dependencies automatically.
      PS: You failed to download the Chinese language pack since you never connected to the internet.
      "They don’t care about their users."
      What are you saying 😭??
      The open-source nature of the software means that anyone can fix problems and make improvements

      1, if you go find a new app to download in Linux, instead of providing you a downloadable file, they literally only give you one command line of code, so the command line is not forced on you? If you need to fix something, the command line is required. There is no such thing as fixing things using GUI in Linux.
      2, Incorrect interpretation. Of course, Windows 11 requires the internet to be installed. I can't install a Chinese keyboard here without an internet connection, as shown in the video, but as long as I have access to the internet, everything will be installed fine by themselves. On Linux on the other hand, you absolutely need to connect to the internet to google how to do stuff before it can be done. It's not automatic, so you would need to spend a lot of internet time and bandwidth. Tiny thing that breaks needs to connect to the internet again to find a solution. Windows OS can fix themselves automatically via a GUI.
      3, Flatpak is not universally installed on every Linux distros. It's not universal even if it's installed. Internet access is still required to install an app, especially with a lot of dependencies that need to be downloaded. If you go to the Flatpak site, you can't download the installer file so that you can install the app offline. Lastly, not every app is available in Flatpak, so it’s not an installer at all. It’s an unnecessary middleman.
      Last, of course they don’t care about their users. Why would anyone want to fix something instead of getting fixed by their own developers? Anyone is a developer or coder or stuff fixer? I don’t think so.

      I don't need to read documentation of Windows 11 to start playing with it without any problem. There are 1000 pages of low quality documentation on any given Linux distro. I am a great and fast reader, but I can't read 1000 pages of badly written PDF file.
