Indian Railways train 'Punjab Mail' is the oldest train of the Railways. This train was started by the British on 1 June 1912. For the first time, this train ran from a station named Ballard Pier Mole, located near the port of the then Bombay city. Before partition, this train used to go till Peshawar and after that this train started running till Firozpur and today it is entering its 112th year.
