You and I both know there is a wealthy simp somewhere that would forgo a prenuptial, or at least sign away a huge chunk of assets in a prenup, to get her while she's hot or even on the decline.. This is BRILLIANT marketing on her part. She's also savvy enough to see the humor and campiness with this concept and is playing into the media only seeing her as a piece of ass and not a smart business oriented young lady. She's OBVIOUSLY in on the joke. It literally feels you wasted 10 minutes making a big deal about literally nothing. Recognize, Sydney Sweeney is on the counter culture side. She's not woke, comes from a family of Trump supporters and hasn't got caught up in the BS most do in Hollywood. Why tear her down when you can help prop up what shes doing?

Maybe she's just being realistic. She's gorgeous but not the greatest actress, so she's cashing in fast before people find another new hot thing. Can't blame her, bet she made an easy 6 figure sum for that commercial.
Even if she is the greatest actress in the world, she should still cash in on the easy money. Money provides optionality for her to choose her own projects. Given what we know about Hollywood (i.e. Weinstein and P Diddy), a young actress never wants to be the one needing a paycheck and begging others for opportunities. She wants to be in a financial position where she can pick and choose the opportunities that come to her.

Seeing as her parents filed for bankruptcy and had to sell their home, it makes sense that she'd be a little "traumatized" by that experience and will now likely walk through her entire life making decisions that ensure that she and her family never experience that kind of hardship again. Also, the fact that it's still legal for paparazzi to harass and try to coerce you outside your own home with the BS , "If you come out now so we can get our bikini photo, we'll leave," is insane. I think it should be a Class 4 felony (harassment and stalking) for paparazzi to enter a .2-mile radius of a celebrity home and make it illegal to photograph individuals on the property. Any photographs of the outside property are fine, but anyone captured in the image makes it a class 4 felony. **Politicians should NOT have that protection against the paparazzi or citizens. If a politician is corrupt or a war criminal, people should have the right to non-violently protest and harass them outside their homes/property indefinitely.**

I like Sydney Sweeney as she doesn't seem to take herself too seriously. She kind of reminds me of Kate Upton in her heydays. This commercial feels like something from the late 90's. Cheesy and humorous.

Not all celebrities are in this camp, but there are many who get paid millions to be in movies because audiences want to watch a movie with them in it. Or they get paid a lot to advertise a product because of who they are. They are selling their image and part of the trade-off is you don't get privacy. If they want to act and maintain their personal life they can be a voice actor or a character actor. It's not as lucrative and doesn't come with the same level of fame, but you can live like a normal person.
Dr. Squatch started out with bar soap. I remember seeing their funny ads on You Tube.
