Would they make fun of dude like me that want to ride with them but, my bike is a Honda CBR 600RR Sportsbike. My mother was a huge HA person. So it be a cool thing if i got to ride with them on my CBR. I was never into motorcycles but, Honda & Ninjas Sportsbikes were my type of thing.
Geez, at least learn to ride in proper formation. I used to lead group rides of 75+ mostly strangers around Colorado on rides and I'm glad those days are behind me. Had one only incident. Don't know how it didn't end up worst more often. No thanks, not anymore. I hated stopping for a red light and holding my breath waiting for some new person to run their bike up my ass for actually stopping and trying to lead a safe ride.
I would have stayed with HA. Road captain sets pace end of conversation, keep up or get out. A club isn't a democracy, your a soldier, a single cog in a large gear, if one cog breaks off the gear slips.
