Looks like you got a lot of great items on the free shipping day. Yes, SU is taking a lot of ideas from CTMH including the scrapbooking workshops with directions. I agree the stamps and dies seem to be pricey but the quality is outstanding. And the matching dies are great to use and there are also extra dies in them. Enjoy your goodies! Stampin' Up 12x12 cardstock was my favorite -- I miss being able to purchase 12 sheets of one solid color. Maybe that will come back soon. I agree that they have excellent quality!
I have bought SU products for years - probably over 30, and I agree with your comments. My bigger issue is, the past few years, their style just mostly falls flat for me. I'm talking about the stamps, there just isn't that much that appeals to me. Which is probably due more to me than them, as I like a fairly plain style as opposed to flowery. Anyway, they do have high quality and like you, I want to support the demonstrator I've been with all this time, but I can't justify the expense unless it's something I really want. There are so many companies out there with really good products and I haven't won the lottery yet, so I can't afford it all. I do like the collections you got, especially the fall paper. Thanks for sharing!
Haha! So true. As I was putting my paper away after making the video, I see I that have plenty of Halloween, Thanksgiving/Fall, and Christmas paper! So I'm good for awhile now! Thanks for watching and listening to my rant!
