I own a Honda CB300R since last one and half years. Amazing bike with 40 plus kmpl mileage, so far covered 9000 kilometers, with this little beast

I have CB 300r. It's a really good machine. I rode it 13k km. Not a single issue with this bike till now.

@@Mercy789 recently I done my 4th service and that is paid service and cost is 3300rs. Oil change, oil filter change, air filter change, chain clean.

@@RhythmSop really? For daily use i have more than 40 years old royal enfield bullet and jawa. Works perfectly.
While current RE bikes like Meteor are equally smooth as Honda's, i doubt a 40 yrs old Honda would be as sturdy for daily use.

2022 CB 300 BS6 has been launched! Woohoo ! It gets Slipper clutch and is now made in India :) So i guess it'll be cheaper! Also it makes "slightly" more power than this BS4 one shown above!

In India people get R15 for 2.3lakh...so this one is sensible
One thing to add - Honda CB 300R 2022 edition's service frequency is every 6000 km or 6 months. So yearly maintenance is around Rs.6000 as per him (I don't know I haven't even ridden anything apart from CD Deluxe :). Now for BMW G310 GS what I have heard on TH-cam from actual owners, the service cost is around Rs.6000 for first but of course over 2-3 years it increases to Rs.10000. It goes into service once every year or 10,000Km. Yes, service locations is the biggest problem with BMW but not with Honda.
As an overall package BMW G310 GS also makes a strong case being more capable on road, off road, pillion comfort, big bike feel, brand BMW etc. No doubt I also love CB 300R but maybe a lower price tag would have justified this bike more in 2022. And yes I hate the 9.7L and 11L fuel tank of both these bikes.
What's your take Bulu bhai? Maybe a comparison video between 390 (Duke/Adventure), G310 (R/GS), Apache RR310 and this can come up?
390 adv is best rest are just scraps
My friend bought gs310 faced alot of problems sold it for 1.75 i guess that too just 11k driven
I have the same bike and I am pretty happy with it! Excellent for beginner by my option. And looks very good from aside. Even for bigger guy 😄

This is why i love honda, even if you are buying a honda 650 it will give u 25-30kmpl Mileage if you ride it normally.. like 60-90kmph.. but in lower cc like duke 390 domi 400 duke 250 its really hard to get 30 kmpl.

@@sunilsipun9799 bro most of the time those who have superbike have to ride it under 100kmph. U cant always ride ur bike over 100kmph. coz of indian roads in city or challan of overspeeding will be ready for you. On highway ofcourse i will speed more than 130kmph.

@@sunilsipun9799 it's dangerous for road dwellers and you too if you want to always ride being 90 KMPH just because you have a machine designed to attain hyper speeds . In India you are safe to ride between 80 - 110 kmph max 99% of ride even if you have Hayabusa , H2r . You can attain shirt bursts of 120 -300 Kmph

small tank is the biggest and only drawback rest bike is fire.🔥🔥
It's a streetfighter so technically it should not be an issue and the mileage it gives is also high. Bigger tanks are must for tourer adv bikes with bigger cc or lesser mileage.
Still cb300r sells less than all of its compititors - duke390, rc390, even low from dominor & apache rr310.
Reason: honda have very less reach in premium bike segment.
Comeon honda even KtM, RE have showroom & service centers in my small town. Also we get apache rr310. Honda really need to upgrade its reach to more people.

10 litre tank and If the bike is giving 40kmpl it should go for 400 km. Then how 250? That too on highway. Discrepancy in mileage or maybe slip of mouth.
This is CB 300R. Now Imagine the performance of CBR 300R.
Performance should be more or less same. CB is naked street fighter while CBR is sports bike.

I have a 19 year old Honda eterno and activa with a broken odometer and and untouched engine. Resident of foothill Himalayas have been frequently to Nanital on both of them with a pillion.

I have daily rides of 70km, Weekend trips and Occasional long trips
I need great refinement and reliability
Less vibrations (after test riding dominar twins, I dont want bajaj at all because of vibrations)
I also want good pillion comfort for an average person with 5'4" height.
(I know there is big difference in price of these bikes, I have the budget to go for CB300R but I would like to spend the money wisely)
CB350 is very comfortable for pillion . But CB300R is way more powerful which is an advantage for long rides. Once launched, you should take test ride for both and take a call.
@@DibakarDeb008 the tank is only 10L and there should be 1-2 L always in it since it is an FI. So will the tank range be a problem during trips?

Honda bikes are a bit more expensive than their counterparts. But, Honda gives you more than their counterparts as well. So, justified as expensive.

The sitting posture, though straight, is seems that the legs remain too bent while sitting. They seem to be uncomfortable, unlike other bikes where it seems the legs seem to be more comfortable bent only at about 90 degrees from knee. Infact in case of Bajaj avenger, the bent angle is further wide and more Comfortable. So it it true that in this bike the extra knee bent is there.

I use a claw bag/tail bag that sits on the pillion seat. It's big enough for even a 10 days long trip.
If the tank capacity is 10 L and the range is 250-300 how come avg mileage is 40kmpl???
usable fuel will be about 8 litres only as 1.-2 litres will be below fuel pp
Everything is good with HONDA but the drawback is after sales services of these lil expensive bikes. Although i have a honda and i am planning to sell it and go for a lil expensive bike HONDA is not on my charts, just because of their after sales services that are limited to these bikes and also the quality service at their normal service centers is also missing

Honda is planning to relaunch CB300R in bs6 but it will take some time. There is no plan to introduce CB150R to India market as of now. It won't be cost competitive.

In 1 lakh less one will get suzuki gixxer 250 with just 4.5 PS & 35 CC less and with much lower maintenance cost and service availability network. Honda has a history of charging a lot more then it is worth for be its honda city or CB310r.
