This is quality, thank you for providing that awesome spirited driving not just in an M4, but in an M4 accompanied by some sweet V8 sounds in the distance.
I like how both you and Chris show two different sides of the car. One was more casual and experimental, while the other was about going full send without a second thought lol.
I thought the Bavarian Beaverteeth front grill was totally McNasty when I first saw it last year , but the more I look at the overrall car and keep an open mind it really is growing on me, its just such a major departure from BMW's typical front fascia. Nothing beats the timeless look of the E39 M5s and E46 M3 I must say. I love eating up those twisty /country roads like that with my Audi S3, I have lots of those roads down here in SC, cant get enough. Cheers Mr Ted Thanks
I've been dreaming about owning an M4 for so many years and with the current market inflation, it feels like a slap in the face especially now that I am close to affording one than I ever have. I just saw a preowned 2022 G83 going for 105k which is nuts. I guess it can wait a couple more years (first world problems, I know)
@@ruskibruski yeah like previous gen almost had no decline in price This gen has covid chip shortage problems and more, there are going to be rare sadly
i NEED to know where that road is. i didnt even know michigan had fun roads lmao, in all my years of living here ive never found a nice curvy that lasted for more than a minute
@@typicalmountainbiker Hard disagree on that. I think the worst part of the regular M4 is the amount of metal between the glass and the tiny looking wheel well.
You know people are gonna hate, but the new m4 and m3 actually look sick especially the m3 with black trim in yellow 🤌 also I love how you just casually roll up the window while flooring it at 1:30 haha
The first time I saw the new grill design on certain BMW’s was at the New York auto show, and I was pretty shocked. Listening to the conversations around me, most people were also shocked by it. It does look aggressive, as where I prefer cars to look beautiful and be fast (like a Lamborghini Miura or Ferrari 365gtb/4 “Daytona”). The only good thing about that massive snout on this BMW is probably the huge amount of air that gets let into the engine compartment to keep things cool.
What did you think of the carbon bucket seats? Are they a must have? I have a G80 manual with the regular seats and Im kind of regretting not spec'ing the buckets.
I gotta say, that looks like a hell of a lot of fun
I love the sound of that jag and the LC however that BMW seems effortless what an awesome car
What a phenomenal looking road. The M4 is a fine car as well.

My guy teddy is moving in that intro! 💨
You know it gonna be a banger when Ted is going full send in the intro 👌🏾
twisty roads with lovely trees and sunshine driving in a convertible bmw with friends? woo you probably had a really great time!
I hope you’re having a killer time with Charlie! His channel is underrated

Any time I see “BMW” and “Tedward” I get hyped great video!

True, m4 is my dream and i see no way of getting it in a couple of years. It sucks sooo much man.
you could try a 2021 m4 next year?

Is that a wild Topher I see on the left at 1:00? 🤔
Tedward: Seem to have caught the jag..,
Very Clarkson’esk 😎👍🏽
This M4, the Jag, or the Lexus LC500 convertible? Very different cars but all so cool!
Great driving in a beautiful car. 👏
The Golf 7 GTI 😍🖤 for daily and M4 for summer 🤌🏼
Disclaimer: filmed in Mexico, not Michigan.
All the dead bugs on the windshield hahaha
One of your best videos. Should do spider versions of Ferraris and Lambos in the same road. Cheers
This makes my Heart Go bam bam bam
I smell brakes baby!! Lmao. The M4 is kinda growing on me ngl
please also do a video with that gti
Need more of this!' Awesome!
the lack of wind noise is insane, can barely hear it!

Tedward, are you actively trying to make your trusty Civic Si jealous? /s
Is that a crack in the windshield?
Anyone else paying attention to the water bottle in the passanger seat, looks like its enjoying the ride lmao
I'd argue the best compromise would be a "base" convertible RWD 8AT 🤔
4300 pounds doesn't exactly scream motorsport or fun to me but it is an impressiv(e)(ly ugly) and fast GT.
Honestly I think the grilles are the only really ugly thing about it. If you kinda look over them fast the rest of the car is really pretty to me
@@typicalmountainbiker Hard disagree on that. I think the worst part of the regular M4 is the amount of metal between the glass and the tiny looking wheel well.
Was the Jag able to keep pace with the M4 in a straight line?
YES
That’s the same car the topher had with the crack in the windscreen

I'm still not in love with that front grill. But holy wow does it get up and move.

@@Mike-rk8px you don't want too much air or it will start becoming a hindrance and cause too much drag.

they are extremely and i mean extremely uncomfortable
Very nice car!
LMFAO. I love this channel. But X drive convertible are not what we think of when we think M car.
Bavarian beaver teeth! 😂
No doubt this looks like fun, but the car gives off almost zero character to me.
Is that mph? Doesn’t look that fast on video
How would you compare it to an S2000?
Nothing alike at all. Not sure I could compare them
yes its fast as hell, but does it have any soul?
this thing is almost 1000lbs heavier than an E46 M3
eeeek
Hey man mind if I borrow this car haha? Promise I will give it back! Won't steal it at all. Nope nope!
But those teef tho...
Lexus... gsf....
The new m4 is too quite

Carbon around the steering wheel and paddles is looking a little Alibaba
@@Matt-rk3de completely agree. The carbon paddle shifters i think are aftermarket but not the steering wheels carbon
Nice review, but absolutely ugly car. (And yes, I day that while driving 2 BMWs for 15 years.)
