Do you know the difference between cilia, microvilli, and villi? th-cam.com/video/1bRLNE4ew1g/w-d-xo.html Need more examples comparing smooth muscle and regular dense connective tissue? th-cam.com/video/5kmZ2Yo-gEg/w-d-xo.html Do you know how they even get these tissues on a slide to begin with? th-cam.com/users/shortslffKLvk8vxo For all my basic histology videos, see my playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLBM7jL93Kc2RFon6AxyVIeoAMtp0Ci13u.html
I cannot thank you enough for how useful your videos are. They’re very thorough and clear up any confusion I previously had about tissues. My histology quiz was on identifying tissues, features, distribution and function and I managed to get a 45/45. I honestly owe it all to you👏🏽
words cant describe how much this video has helped me thank you so much for your dedication, quick question why cant the last one be cardiac muscle i understand due to the intercalated doscs not bein gseen which isa dead giveaway but what above the top branching structure being seen
That's not really a branch - it's just where one of the cells got pulled out of its row when the tissue was being placed on the slide! For the most part, the cells look like straight tubes, which is characteristic of skeletal muscle.
Sure thing! I've got this one: th-cam.com/video/iYp4Crm_SFw/w-d-xo.html&si=oLxzEjF9lkd8x6hw And then this one which is only connective tissue, But since there's so many types of connective tissue there's still 24 different questions: th-cam.com/video/5u5-l6sSNmo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bzSdN7ggpra4AU7N
Maybe someday! Unfortunately, I just don't have very much to say about the histology of nervous tissue. Between 14:35 and 15:20 of this video is the extent of my knowledge 😬
Hello dear anatomy hero I mean the real hero is here not on the movies or childish cartoons thank you so much doctor for your amazing videos 🙏🏻❤️ I’m your such a fan since last year :) I just wanted to ask u if u can make any videos about histology of different kinds of arteries and veins (muscular, elastic…) or about the development of heart or about coronary arteries and veins and I’m not sure if we can differentiate between veins and venules or arteries and arterioles in histological slides . I’m now studying cardiovascular and respiratory tract and I was searching for all your videos in these subjects and just for the cardiovascular I couldn’t find anything related to the subjects I previously mentioned.🌸 I would be so thankful if you put it in your consideration ASAP if it’s possible cause like at the beginning of the Jan I’m having exam .🫠
Happy to help! Unfortunately though, I probably won't make videos about the histology of blood vessels any time soon as it's not something I know a whole lot about. I'm actually not a doctor, and therefore I haven't learned the histology of every system in great detail! I do know that you can definitely differentiate between arteries vs arterioles and veins vs venules due to the differences in their layers, but I don't know enough to actually explain how. Many med schools do have open histology references, so if you just try googling "blood vessel histology" and looking for results from universities, you might find some helpful references!

THANK U SO MUCH! Is it too much to ask for another video of practice like this?

Tysmfor this awesome video ❤
I have a little request. Could you please make one on nervous, please?
Maybe someday! Unfortunately, I just don't have very much to say about the histology of nervous tissue. Between 14:35 and 15:20 of this video is the extent of my knowledge 😬
@AnatomyHero Ok, no worries tysm ❤️
Can you explain the circulatory system on the plastic model?
Are you a Monroe student asking about the flat man model? If so, we don't have that model down at the main campus so I'm unfamiliar with it!
@ nah I’m not student at Monroe. Thank you for this explanation I really appreciate it🤍
