There's no time to be toxic in HOK lol the battles are intense and fast paced. In platinum rank now, the gameplay feels tougher in ML, the gameplay like a mix of ML and WR. Just because your team is in a strong lead mid game it can quickly shift. The matches I played this past week have been toe to toe. Everyone is working their ass off to get that win! 😅 Which is awesome 🎉
Yeah bro we were winning in lategame (destroyed all their towers while we still had like 4 towers standing. We got Cocky and got wiped out 😂😂 and lost. It doesn't really matter if you do well early game because mid to late is when everything actually starts
And I prefer HoK's less toxic environment. I'm mainly only playing with ML because of my friends at this point but I've started moving to HoK as a solo. The lane based matchmaking is a god sent
The less toxicity in HoK is mainly because players are still learning stuffs live in-game like hero's skillset, objectives, and especially items in shop, so they just don't have the time to be toxic.
I'm afraid with enough times, HoK might be even more toxic than MLBB just because HoK is much more team-dependent than MLBB, so 1 player's mistake (wrong prio item, skill's timing, item's active usage, starting lane for roamer and jungler, etc) could easily cost the game. On the other hand, their better report system might also be enough to at least punish these behaviors

That's why i stop playing moba games,RIP mlbb 2018-2024,i had such a good times with mlbb. I don't play hok though because i know that MOBA games are all the same with toxic players,maybe not now but later

HOK really made me regret spending on a lot of money for skins in MLBB. Their skins have higher quality effects and are inexpensive. With your 5K tokens (Dias in MLBB) you can already buy all of their Dragon Skins which surpasses the collector, heck even some Legend skins in ML. And I was shocked that I actually enjoyed playing the game that’s why I now regret spending a lot on MLBB.

I'm a main moskov in ml and I start thinking that I'll main Alessio in Hok cause the aggressive play style is almost kinda similar
Instead of Moskov, Alessio feels more like Wanwan with heavier basic atks and jumps. I'd say Lady Sun is more similar to Moskov with her 1st skill's dash and CD reduce on basic atk

I think it's perfectly fine to think that HoK HUD feels a bit crowded. From my experience most chinese games are like this, and MLBB was kinda like it too in the beginning.
I think HoK just needs a bit more feedback for some QoL stuff.
If you feel like the HUD is too crowded just go to settings and go to layout and you can set the transparency, move them around or change the size of the things you don't like on the screen. You can also disable stuff like the fps the target heros, skill labels etc. in the "In Match" settings, because Hororo seems to like this settings that was shown in the video, Also you guys should really check the settings sometimes too, it's there for a reason because not every people have the same preference like the controls size or the placing of the UI.
My guy. I did do that, no need for being condescending. What I meant by crowded that their HUD feels chunky, and adding it with how the map looks, it just makes most people not like it as much as mlbb. Compared to mlbb now, where it took a few years to be as let's say 'sleek', HoK's design feels a bit like mlbb's earlier years HUD. Not saying you CAN'T have the same experience in HoK as ML by editing stuff a bit, but let's be honest, most people won't take their time to do that cause either it's too much hassle or just annoying to do. I'm personally fine with how where the buttons and lobby stuff are, but the main issue for most people is probably it's design, it just feels a little bit "outdated" as compared to mlbb. That's why I said that feedback could give the devs some ideas for it to look more "clean".
@@lukii27 I think you guys are just used to MLBB's HUD and I understand that if you are playing the game for years, but let's be honest here, Chinese players never complained about it being "outdated" and this game made a $1B alone in China last year for a "outdated" game that's actually very impressive.
It definitely is impressive. But we're talking about the players here, MLBB was made for a global audience, rather than HoK's focused chinese audience, so it's design was made to accomodate wider range of people. HoK made a global version, but their design right now is not fit for a global audience. Their UI, HUD, and the layout is definitely just alright, but like I said, the design is gonna make alot of people be thrown off. They made that much in china so I think it's fine to say they know their stuff, specifically what chinese players want. HoK's gonna take a little while to figure what a global audience likes, and that's fine. I'm saying that global players can give some feedback/suggestions to the devs, making the game be more enticing to more people.
@@lukii27 I do agree that they need to cater for global audience but I'm pretty sure we're not talking about players here but the HUD of the game so yeah MLBB is also a Chinese game but it was made for Southeast Asian region at first and then it got released globally and it got improved over the years and just like with HoK being only in China and now they just released a global version it would probably do what MLBB did over the years.

MLBB was like that on its first release, it was calmer and pretty quiet than today. WR was also like that. Wait for 2 to 3 years, once people finally able to grasp the game fully, then even you yourself would also become one of the toxic players in HOK.

For sure there will be toxic players in the future but im pretty sure it would not be as severe as to how the ml's players are today.

For some reason, I feel like HoK screen is smaller. I realized this when I was customizing my UI. It felt like there was much more stuffs as well.
I personally also prefer how ML looks more, *aesthetically. It looks more.. smoother? Optimized? Animated? (Idk what's the suitable word)
For me no hok was more smoother since they can pop up when your data was unstable to turn on smooth graphics while ml still lagging even the graphics are smooth and not ultra
Hok looks like dead while ml looks more hyped and alived based on their battle field but hok was smoother than ml

Yea, it's great. But the frame rates are an issue.. especially on a real-time game such as a MOBA
does MLBB look smoother? probably, most dash skills in HOK look more rigid on the animation. but is MLBB more optimized? I don't think so, MLBB (even with lower size) has worse optimization for low-end phone compared to HOK or even Wild Rift despites it has quite a bit gap on their size.
tho outside the match, (heroes/skins preview for example) in HOK is a lot laggy but they have a separate setting for that

Some people saying hok graphics is bad which is very wrong, let me explain, the graphics is good but im pretty sure theyre talking about Map its like lol/wildrift map so they think its ugly but hear me out , hok lotteraly only have 1 map unlike mlbb have 4 maps, so lets compare it with fair match, Mlbb default map the origan not the new/revamp one vs Hok the only map, which is easy, hok takes the win if you 3/4 the graphics

Playing ML and HOK are totally different experience.
- Aesthetics-wise, it depends on your taste.
- HOK sometimes feels too sluggish for me.
- Crowd control is too much in HOK. You can’t move nor click Flash to save yourself.
- Some heroes are TOO OP. ML heroes are more balanced.
- Objectives feel pointless. There’s no sense of urgency.
- ML is more high octane and fast-paced.
- It’s weird but when playing HOK, I feel like time moves so fast while nothing is happening???
- The screen looks cluttered.
- Cheaper skins which I love. But because they’re cheap, everyone can afford them and they won’t feel as premium.
- Personally, I still prefer MLBB, but I also like playing HOK to past the time and relieve some of the stresses of ML.
- Arcana system is nice but Emblem system is better, especially with the talents.
- I prefer the “Adaptive system” of ML, e.g. Adaptive attack, etc.
- HOK too easy. Also, still so many brain dead players. I’m in Diamond III.
The adaptive system in ML feels getting out of hand right now. Hope they would limit at what items should grant permission to have such feature like how the concept of "Omnivamp" and "hybrid damage" was very selective in LoL.
Mlbb heroes are not balanced at all , u can't even use some of the heroes in tournaments

one of my problems of this game is the walls is too thick, like bro the walls are THICC asf most dash skills can't even pass through it, like I've been using Musashi for a lot of times and getting stuck in the thick wall is just annoying
yeah I used to play the chinese version, but I quit because the hero balance is so bad there during that time. (not sure about HOK english tho). The reason it's so chaotic because everyone could solo kills, even tanks and some support. At higher rank, you could often find 5 man picking different roles but are busy ks-ing each other (because even tank and supports has quite the damage output). And since tanks/fighters or tank/mage dual role dominates, some fighter or mage hero just exist for no reason.
There's just too much animation in HOK that taunting the enemy is not as effective in ML😂, look at the skill animation and ingame animation. Ig, there is no space for recall and emote to be seen mostly in the clash😂
I remembered my teammate said "if we lose, I'm going to delete ML", and another of my teammate said " Me too", i already knew because HOK is released on global (Cause I've already been playing it since the second day of release), tbh, all the heroes on HOK isn't that bad, i really had fun playing with Lady Sun, Diao Chan and Angela, not only they have cool features, but also gives you actually free skins, plus game collaborations and new events upcoming and a lot more for new players ❤.
the chat box is ridiculously tiny, even if you change the size the fact remains that it is that tiny for almost everybody else.
played HOK yesterday to check it out, it's not bad actually the gameplay is really really good but man the UI when the game starts it feels so cramped like im squished with information
The first thing I done when I downloaded hok was try to spam recall, when I couldn't I immediately deleted the game

Interface in HOK is messy, maybe they'll optimize it soon. The clash in HOK is more intense, you can't win a clash without your teammates! Unlike the other games which is if you have enough items you can do a 1v5.
Some of the skill indicators are also pretty inconsistent, similar to the old MLBB. The worst of them can be seen on Dun.
Same goes for some of the skill's animations, the movements just feels unnatural and too rough on some of them. This one is more noticeable on combo heroes like Ying or Mayene.
Having said that, i really hope they did optimize their game and not just focusing on their ads, considering HoK managed to be on-par with MLBB in terms of how fun they are

@@draculagaming8565exactly man. Except, 2.5-3s cc's are very common in hok. Majority of heroes have some kind of mobility, and fighters and tanks are a lot scarier, not just for their cc potential but can also do a lot of damage on top of being tanky.
Literally a tank can put you on half HP very fast.

Well AoV used to be HoK global version but because HoK becoming more popular they decided to go global themselves but for some reason they thought using the same interface they used in AoV from 2016 in 2024 is mind blown😂😂 it's super clunky, sluggish

I honestly prefer AOV (sas it was left to rot by the devs) over HOK i think it's just so much better in my opinion, rn hok is making an ass out of them selves by making cringey ass comparison ads. HOK will not succeed, not in the same degree ML has in my country at least
It feels more smooth than HOK imo too, also the controls there are not that cramped unlike HOK
To be honest, when I play this game I think no one really cares if you're toxic cuz:
1. This game is wayyy faster
2. You can't spam recall (exp laners I'm watching you)
3. The screen is filled with too much effects from both team like big skill effects
4. The game is still freshly global so most toxic players (like Indonesians and Malaysians in mlbb) are still not touching this game

This game faster? Even a normal match is 15-20 minutes or higher. The map is bigger compare to mlbb.

Worse than recalls honestly. Recall spam is outdated, its time for anouncer spam.
For me, that's why i like HoK better, sure it's has some weakness like the screen settings but it makes me focus more in my gameplay rather than thinking about taunting my enemies. That's why ever since I play HoK i never play in the 5v5 gorge match, always do ranked cause it's easier than ML Ranked Match. Cause when I play ML I always get mad when people taunting me, not to mention the toxicity some people wrote in the chat..
I really hate some of the controls on Ipad Hororo. I can’t edit it properly and I can’t aim some of the skills because it comes out of the screen. And the editing Interface isn’t even aligned with the actual gameplay. It’s like a phone screen size meanwhile when I play it goes to a different position.

I have both hok and mlbb, and I just kept playing hok over mlbb. It's just that hok is way easier on my level. I main lam. I'm now gold in hok

How about the high-skill ceiling assasins? ML have Fanny, Gusion, and Ling. I wonder what their counterpart in HoK?
On average Hok's hero's have higher skill ceiling than Mlbb so you may see alot of outplay.But there's some heroes that have exceptionally higher skill ceiling tho I don't remember but there's one hero that's basically gusion+haya+yin or something
What I like in HOK is you can signal your teammates about enemy's spell, example the enemy just used heal, just used their ultimate, or the enemy jungle has no smite
You can also alert your teammates that you're low on health or low in mana
If you're on 5 man and you're on call you don't need those things, but if you're a solo q player that's a big help
That's the one of the dealbreaker for me to make the switch
And it's more chill to play unlike in MLBB, damn my stress levels are always high after the game
And also one of the things I like in HOK, (tho I didn't reached diamond yet I'm just in platinum) is you don't lose your stars which is very beginner friendly
i enjoy more on HoK and on how safe the community is but the thing that ticks me is their ads mostly all about dragging mlbb which is kinda weird..... it shows that they lack ideas much

Pro tip: you can still recall spam in HOK but you need to move a little while taping recall for it to work.
HoK overall feels a lot more messy with notifications, effects and voice lines all over the place and sometimes it kinda gets annoying while Mlbb has a more polished system but honestly i can still play both games as long as its entertaining

@@hopegaming5710Go to settings and adjust the screen brightness if you think it's dark, you can also set HDR brightness if you want brighter colors but I think this is only for high end devices because I have the redmagic 9 pro

I personally think that's great. I don't like the advantage ipad users get. They don't have to constantly be moving the screen around to see what's normally just out of view on mobile. Balancing imo

it's like mlbb but with lol vibes, the gameplay is calmer just like in league, some of the heroes remind me of mlbb

I just can't find that satisfying feeling when I hooked on the enemies in HOK
I didnt know a single cuss word when i first played ML. Now i am just too used to it and consider it an actual mechanic of the game. Toxic chatting and behaviour like afk are not the one. Spamming recall is🤣

You can still spam recall in HoK. Though you need to move/walk to do it. Still annoying af when you know the other guy is also a mlbb player.
What you mean you can’t spam recall?? You can, just move and press recall, also, that taunt emojis most don’t even know how to use them…
We were losing, and my team mate used a system chat saying something like, "We just have to wait for our opponents to empty their phone batteries". I loled so hard, I didn't know the system have something like that. 😂
ML is marketing the toxicity that's the truth. Or else what is the use of making the recall spamable. It is for going to the base not for show off to the people and make them angry
We HOK player not toxic as those Mobile Legends players. We only show our skills not trashtalk. If this global HOK become a bad environment and you will know why. “Because of the ML players”
Also noticed lot of ML players playing HOK like they are playing ML. It’s not the same game. Please learn you hero from training before going on pvp. Try to use brain and not fingers strength.
thats because most of them are bot. how to detect? most of the time their profile picture are some kind of scenery and their pattern movement. there is difference between a noob and bot. noob you recognize by wtf are they doing but bot they have similar pattern. play enough and you start to recognize the pattern, for me its early game, tank got too close to me till i can finish him/her. this is lvl 1 mm with 1 blade item only

I understand what you mean me too I think hok is fun but the smoothness and cleanness and the voice of announcer too better then hok and i perfer the mlbb recall its looks more fun and brighter too
I've already invested so much diamonds in ML. No way I'm leaving it now

a few things i noticed when i played HoK:
- it can be easier compared to ML
- the whole game feels unoptimized
- marksmen are too OP
- cool animations
- most animations are too fancy, and can make some skills feel pointless
- a lot of the skills are cool
- most animations look uninspired
- most skills feel the same, just with different animations
- brawling everywhere
- almost no setup is needed during team fights
- the arcana system is cool
- Mm's are actually on the weaker side only until late game (or I guess everyone is OP in late game) or very fed. Literally everyone can take you on except pure supports.
- Its def harder and you had more things to worry about. Exp lane can teleport to you if left alone. Minion last hits very much matters.
Some walls are very lengthy, and can trap you.
Kills/Death gives a lot of advantage/disadvantage. One death can suddenly gap you a lot. Slower spawns, means more time to gank. Slower base heal and a lot longer recall.
- You still need setups, but wont be over at once.
- brawling everywhere. Yeah, if i'd describe it compared to other mobas, its more like a fighting game. Some similar skills with some niche twist ... Also like on fighting games.

I tried HOK and it is fun but the matches are too fast to end. I got to diamond really fast it doesn't feel right. Maybe I played too much Dota 2 and MLBB so I cant get the feel right

Its very likely because the recalls and emotes doesnt make noises that makes you feel annoyed. Except when the enemy is using the hero Mayene, she's made for taunting lol
For that reason I prefer ML lol

The only toxic heroe is mayene her animation allow you to bite opponents to attack or to let there guard down and easi to recall spam
When you play HOK and go back to ML is like living in a 5 star hotel then renting a motel
You know what? Actually ther is an auto chat that can be heard by all player which is taunting, you can change your auto chat to that to be toxic
Spam recall while moving left analog and use a good recall effect. It still look like taunting😅
A lot of my games in hok when the losing tean just cant take anynire beatungs they just talk to us in all chat about "where you live", "can i friend you?", "Cool skin", "wow we suck", i had some toxic games but a lot of those times no one gives a fuck to the guy being toxic and they co tinue playing sinve typung waste time and wasted time means no buff and NO KILLS. GET BACK TI MID SOLDIER.
HOK only problem is player (mostly when i play) did not care about tower crystal every room I enter :/

NGL i rarely see people like mocking others or insulting others in HOK. in ML you can encounter that 1 out of 2 matches.
Wait for a few years.😂 ML during 2016 to mid 2017 was fine, but during the start of 2018, it became a toxic river, and moonton started to implement a banning system to stop toxic behaviors among players, but it didn't work😂
For wild riff it only took a year to became a hell 😂.
The only toxic players are skinny little dude's, that have a lot of insecurities, this game is the only place where they feel tough and they can hide their insecurities. The loudest ones are the weakest ones.
after play on HOK 1 days, i can see how calm that game, no chat no interaction, just a bit confused because why enemy can unlimited dash and high damage
I hate this announcer girl voice from hok, aov, lol. It's just disgusting. I want to just close and forget all these games because of it. Also the skills are so slooooow
