Game Dave I just want to say you are the absolute best! I love watching your shows with my Kids. Since we started watching your show I've pulled out my NES and dusted off my classics and my kids love them. They also love your "Pfttt!" takes. The Best!
Really good looking title screen. I've only played the Super Famicom version, but I never got used to the controls. This 2 controller nipple system is very interesting. Reminds me of Smash TV for the NES. Keep'em coming, Dave! :)
Just started watching your videos three days ago, and I really like your content! humour, production value, and enthusiasm are really something, keep it up!
Found your channel through happy console gamer I watch all the time and came here and loved your videos dude and how informative you are with your videos!! Keep it up dude!
There was a version of the NES controller that had screw holes in the center and a game came with a little stick that screwed into it. I had both and I tried the stick screwed in once and tossed it out 5 seconds later and the D-Pad had a problem with falling out.
Great video! I am so happy that there is someone out there who is reviewing Famicom games, and with a great sense of humor to boot ( I'm a fan of the fart and poop humor:D.) Was it just me or did the spire on the last building look like the nipple accessory?
Dave, thank you for this series. I went to Jew Wario for my Famicom fix before his tragic death. I am glad that you took up the Famicom mantle and ran with it.
Nice review. Never seen thumb-sticks like those before honestly. Most common ones I have seen are molded into plastic shells the controller would sit in so it could just rest on top of the D-Pad rather than fit around it. Just curious though, did the contacts feel clean when you were using them or were you worried that they were scratching the plastic of the D-Pad?
Holding the controllers vertically isn't that crazy in an age where the WiiMote is a mainline part of Nintendo controller heritage, but it was probably pretty new back then.
I guess this is where the NX rumors get their design. This game makes it seem a little more believable. I know you say you don't have a lot of time for games, but how long did it take you to conquer this one?
Why the hell didn't I get notified by TH-cam for this? Oh well, I found it eventually, but man. The one channel that deserves the views and TH-cam is pulling a shifty not showing notifications?
I wonder if those joysticks would also help the NES port of Smash TV, as that uses the same control method too?
first reply. also, Hello you!
Thats the first thing I thought of when I saw these.
@Maurice Jalen and @Augustus Willie
do I care?
Best ending to an NES/Famicom game ever
Game Dave you bring so much joy into my life, thank you.
I love it when famicom controllers grow udders

Lol that ending rocks!
Oh wow, this game looks super fun.
Imagine a sequel where the climber climbs in space while floating
this guy needs more subs
Nice little nodules.
They're like the Screw-In joysticks for the Mark III and Master System controllers, but you had to buy these ones separately!
Wow those controllers belong in a strip club.
Oh come on.
Strip clubs are too classy for those things.
***** Depends on which side of town I guess.
Where's the pastees?
Imagine If they do a remake of this game but for the switch. With the joycon this would be perfect
Dave I wish I lived with you I have no never to play with either and I love retro video games last Christmas all I wanted was a gambler and I got one
Nice video, Dave!
I saw this pop up on my feed and thought it was a new episode... Saw it was from 5 years ago... Bummer.... I still watched it doe... 😢
Release more content Dave. Love your videos
You ready?! no let's climb that first building!
They are like the Joy-Cons of the 80s!
Those controls really make the game really titillating, but regardless, very interesting little game you got there Dave.
this game reminds me of the Atari 2600 spiderman game climbing up buildings while things try to kill the main character

Wonder what those things look like in cold weather
"I have to go. My planet needs me."
“Crazy Climber died on the way back to his home planet”
And cool! Its on the Wii too...in Japan of course!
Crazy Climber was Dope this is very cool
it would be fun to play some arcade games on the fami with those attached
Once again, great video!
How were the joysticks controls though? Did they feel stiff?
... No, wait! That's not what I meant!
I remember this at the arcade ☺
the stick thingy works on the super nintendo d pad or other controller d pad
GAME DAVE!
Wheres your Virtual Boy episode? I cannot find it!
The Nunchuk Before The Nunchuk
the controllers have gone through puberty
I saw a new gamedave video and I almost creamed when I saw this
Great review.
Cool how they added joysticks.
I know what that one part of the Bartzilla section of "Bart's Nightmare" was actually based on now!
First! Love your content, Dave! You deserve more views!!
Holding the controllers vertically isn't that crazy in an age where the WiiMote is a mainline part of Nintendo controller heritage, but it was probably pretty new back then.
Wasn't this an episode of Game Center CX?
The OG Kontrol Freaks
It's actually the guys from Kaboom at the top of the building.
Huh?
YOU'RE ALIVE
well it is better than no mans sky getting to the centre of the galaxy just to end up in another galaxy
This video for some reason reminds me of hot wings, probably because I ate some while watching this
I just picked up hyper crazy climber on ps1, and it's so hard to even move
SEE YOU LATER, SPACE CLIMBER.
Wow! This is pretty cool! Famicom wins again! What else more extra??????? :p
Dave did you see the Famicom mini!? Kawaii!
Why you never push down on those cartridges?
still waiting suikoden 2 retorspective dave
The famicon mini has just been reveled for jp
Why do the controllers have -nipples- weird add-ons?
You did not mention that those sticks can come off very easily.
Do you know about the famicom mini
I guess this is where the NX rumors get their design. This game makes it seem a little more believable. I know you say you don't have a lot of time for games, but how long did it take you to conquer this one?
I love Nintendo's craziness why two controlers to climb a building 😂
OG Nintendo switch
this can be a good game for the switch
How much is an hour's worth of time in the UK
There's Actually 3 Crazy Climber games.
Crazy Climber invented the Joy-Con controllers 30 years before the Switch was a thing.
JoCoBrony Duel shock 2 analog joysticks?
They're not analog though...?
dave -you redy camera man -no
Why the hell didn't I get notified by TH-cam for this? Oh well, I found it eventually, but man. The one channel that deserves the views and TH-cam is pulling a shifty not showing notifications?
Can u put it on a snes controller
Dave do a suikoden 2 review and do more content keep it up :)
Who or if you're one of THOSE people "whom" said "NO" in the beginning? was it better shelf?
p.s crazy famicom controller nips
Who said “No” on the side
This game (with the stick thingies) is kinda expensive.
