Penguin Ed and Victor I love my puppy and the cat that comes by my house on a daily basis, I do love them, but, what about chickens, pigs and other animals. I'm sorry but if we have meat in your refrigerator or we can pass by the homeless people with little or no concern, I have a problem with that. We need to address homelessness and we can save animals too, but that love has to extended to all living creatures. Let's do something about the elderly that cant afford their medicine, I don't know, I just want the world to change. I don't disagree with your affection for that puppy, because I sympathize with it also, but we just need to learn to spread our empathy around to all.❤️

@d bIf you don't have the funds or time to take care of a pet mentally and physically don't get one. That person should be shamed because of the condition of the puppy. People get pets on a whim without any plans. If you can't afford don't get it. AND YES I AM JUDGING!
I believe that the first tears of sadness were diluted in the tears that I cried next, throughout the video - tears of gratitude. I feel truly grateful (I would even say that I feel blessed) to share the world with such pure living beings - dogs. Living beings who, though may have fears or traumas, are always able to trust faithfully, once again. Finally, now with a dry face, a giant smile appears: a smile of hope for a better world filled with angels like these human heroes - heroes not only for saving lives, but for knowing how to love. ❤️

She has a beautiful face and she really seems to love you...I'l never understand how some people can be so cruel. My brother found 8 little puppies on the side of a road on a cold rainy autumn night. He brought them to the vet had them checked out made sure they were healthy and had their shots. He kept 2 but before giving the other 6 he interviewed the poeple checked them out made sure they were good people before giving them away. My brother and is wife are not a rich people but they have good souls... My mom would be proud. Thank you to those who do those simple little kindness for God's helplessness creatures ....
Admittedly I'm not fond of people. My history with them is they're out for themselves and have no loyalty. BUT since I discovered The Dodo I realize there are some really great, loving, giving and heroic people in this world! On behalf of all of these beautiful animals (not just dogs) that have been rescued...you are all so amazing! 💞😁

Nothing is more soothing and calming than seeing how much a rescued dog enjoys his first bath. I love that because they love it.

This isn't how fostering works. The goal of fostering is to find animals a forever home. If you keep every amazing animal you foster, you won't be able to foster anymore. Goodbye is the goal!

Melanie Kotze I “fostered” a chocolate lab once. It lasted one whole week. Then I named her Lucy and she lived like a queen with me for life. Clearly I stink at fostering.
@@GS-cg3yn I think I would too and I don't blame you one bit. Many years ago I did a ride along to become an animal control officer. I ended up adopting a dog they were going to put down that same day. I would have never made it as an animal control officer. But I did get an amazing dog out of it that I will love forever.

Glad the puppy made a recovery, and has a safe , and a good home. It's heart braking when you know what horrors this little innocent puppy has gone through. Because of these good caring people got help to recover and have a loving life with someone.

What if he previous owners did everything they could to help the dog that they knew how but it wasn't working? Maybe giving the dog to somebody that was capable of doing more is the only way the dog could survive?

So cruel. Abandon an animal have your legs broken. Laws not harsh enough. Jail time, harsh fines, public humiliation. My dog abandoned in litter of 8! pups in dirty wooden crate. Broke my heart. Took them all home! Cleaned, fed, comforted, played, kept warm. Loved to have caught who did it. Piss on them.
Glad you found them! I agree that torture is the only punishment that fits this crime. And it IS A CRIME! I would like 10 minutes alone with the butthole who did that and this one too. I guarantee they'd walk funny for the rest of their lives and they'd never do that again!
