It was good, but let's get the history of the flag straight. Don't be brainwashed by modern politics. The flag originally consisted of three horizontal stripes: green, red, and yellow. The people who fought for Ethiopia fought for Ethiopian unity and humanity.

Hi. How is it ‘merely’ Victory of Amhara people? Where do you get your sources from ? The Land was occupied by Tigrayans and Alula and Ras mengesha, commanders who fought are said to have originated from Hammassen (Eritrea Central). There were some fighters from Eritrea that came down to fight against the Italians and against colonial soldier (from Eritrea). The Adwa battle was not the first engagement, the battle had leaked (overtime) through lands in Eritrea to Tigray.
Eritreans once again bowing down, this is NOT an amhara victory!! What you're NOT gonna do is downplay the roles that the Tigray and the Shewan/Wollo Oromos played in the victory. Menelik sold your country in the Wuchale treaty in the late 1880s in order to arm himself militarily against the southern nations (Arsi + Bale, Welayta, Sidama, Kembatta, Guji/Borena, etc) and continued getting armed. This is also a big reason as to why Abyssinia won, it's because it was the only nation to fight back with arms as opposed to outdated weapons
