Where did you get the mold from?

Please ma, I want to cover with a sequence velvet, am I going to put it after drying the mold or mold it along side with my mat. Thanks

It depends on the shape of the mould you are working with.
If the mould surface is uniform as in the video, you can place it after drying but if the surface is not uniform, you will need to place it when the mat is still wet with the stiffener and use pins to hold.

Why did you put more stiffener on the outside of the yellow mat?

Just to make sure it's stiff after drying

I keep having multiple folds on the crown making it look rough
The person that taught me said it okay to have folds but it’s just multiple and messy. Please how do I go about it because the crown is actually longer

I tried blocking the crown without cutting the sinamay in bias form, it gave me little pleats than when I cut on bias.
So you can try out that method when next you want to block
