Garmin Pilot and Garmin Flight Stream 210 are married. Foreflight has been allowed to camp on... The tech allows flight plans to be uploaded...and much of the PFD/MFD to be downloaded back onto the tablet. Android and iPad both work.
Thank You for your great videos, I just bought a Cirrus with Garmin Perspective and Garmin says the Flightstream 210 is not available for Garmin perspective. only for Nxi. Is this aircraft upgraded to Nxi? Looks like the normal Garmin G1000 Perspective on the video?
I eventually found the answer to my own question: You can fit the Garmin Flightstream 210 to a Garmin G1000 Perspective Cirrus using a Cirrus owned STC. Then you can exchange flight plans between the planes avionics and your ipad app as well as get weather data etc streamed to your ipad. When I called Garmin they said it was impossible, When I called Cirrus they said yip and gave us the STC details. I think flightstream comes standard with some of the later Cirrus models.
If I have a 430W and Garmin 330es for ADSB Out, can I install 210 and use it same time I'm using stratus if I don't have the 345? I would use bluetooth for FS and then wifi for Stratus so both can connect same time? I don't want to have to disconnect foreflight from Stratus ADSB traffic in to be able to use flightstream 210.

Fs210 is available for G1000. Ive installed it in my sr22t G3 perspective

@ajsteynberg8695 do you have any more details about the STC? I am trying to get my Cirrus Dealer to confirm this upgrade.
