I am here I am so excited to see this I had an absolute blast recording with you!! Thank you for having me! I can't wait to record with you again soon ❤
For me her worst look will always be her wedding dress because that was on the biggest stage. Not only was that dress so incredibly bland and boring but I still can't wrap my mind around how she had such an ill-fitting wedding dress.
Total agreement. I went to my all-woman fitness centre that day and everyone there had the same comment. That dress was rather plain and completely ill-fitting. What french fashion house fitted her for that ??
I just remember thinking these thoughts ❤ but hearing the News Stations singing all this praise of beauty and thinking to myself, “gah, am I crazy?” Is something wrong with me🤣🤣🤣 Now after all these years ppl are finally being honest about how bad that dress fit.
@@claireh4173 Had she been a better listener, she just might have had a dress that at least fit well. I still remember Catherine's wedding dress. I was gobsmacked by how regal her dress was and i LOVED the lace top and sleeves. God that dress was gorgeous.
Best comment for this presentation. I truly disliked her wedding dress. She could have the best stylist in the world but if she won't take the advice.....the results speak for themselves
I didn't realise at the time how few British designers she wore when a working Royal. That was her JOB, to promote British fashion. Mind you maybe she did British designers a favour!
I bet after 1or2months of royal duties the British designers saw how her minor choices destroyed a look-ie a black bra under a white clingy shirt crop pant with super long German mustard color(baby poo)giving the pant creator a dropped in a hole as she looked wearing them as Beeb pointed out kindly to the rest of her outfit😮
I have come to the conclusion that Givenchy actually dislike Meghan, and that is why they are constantly designing really bad, ill-fitting clothes for her, then sitting back and laughing 😀
@@fibanocci314 Well, yes, I suspect @joannagodfrey5111's interpretation is probably closer to correct, but I still like to think of the Givenchy staff sitting back killing themselves laughing as they say, I can't believe she fell for it, .
every royal has made bad fashion choices including Diana and Catherine, but Meghan took it to another level. Some of her choices were so awful they bordered on grotesque.
Yes, very true. No one gets it right all the time. And it can't be easy picking 100s of outfits, in advance, to suit all occasions, and still look different each time. But MM only manages to get it right occasionally - that's the difference. She fundamentally doesn't have good fashion sense, or a clear notion of what suits her. She's a serial offender.
That black and white floral spring/summer, completely inappropriate dress was NOT made to be a maternity dress. It was an exceedingly odd choice and there’s no way it could have been comfortable on a pregnant person.
The best stylists were placed at her disposal. It was absurd that she ruined potentially beautiful combinations. Catherine had also made mistakes in the early days. But she did a good job afterwards.
I took a tour of Buckingham Palace that was displaying Catherine’s dress and a video on how it was made. I sat through it twice. It was so interesting and carefully thought through. I can sew and I could whip up Meghan’s dress in two hours and it would fit just as badly. It was a very poor shape and choice.
So on the wedding day I got up early early to cook a whole little buffet for two, had fake champagne, bought hats with little veils all for myself and my little girl to celebrate the wedding. We loved it! We spent the morning sipping faux champagne and eating filet mignon and scones for breakfast early early early lol our Amazon hats and nightgowns fit better than that hot mess dress
I can't get over how she struts around like she looks amazing 🙄 No other sane woman would even leave the house with their bra showing, with their tight dress puckering, or with their pants dragging on the ground. So bizarre.
Nobody has the courage to tell her how awful her clothes are. She desperately needs a stylist, but probably wouldn't listen to them. That horrible red dress was a fiasco.
Me too! But I didn't like her from the beginning so it was easy to not like her dress 🙃 my daughter said it's OK 🙄 Harry seems to be oblivious to his wife's fashion fails 😂😂
MM narcissism blinds her choice in clothing- she repels stylists, seamstresses, etc. who should be her go-to team. She also thinks that white fedora & ill-fitting shoes and undergarments (or lack of) are an alluring trademarks. She is no Katharine Hepburn in those wide leg pants! Also the infamous wedding dress was doomedfrom the start. MM never wears correct undergarments which alone could account for the ill-fitting issues. Etiquette in general dictates no pure white after first wedding & definitely no veil. She could have worn a heavier lace chapel veil, just below shoulders. The dress design reflects a medieval silhouette that can be found in English tapestries. The book on this dress can now be closed!
Our late Queen was against her wearing a veil, particularly as it was her ‘second’ wedding but she wore one anyway. It was an act of defiance to the late Queen, telling her she will wear what she wants, it’s her wedding! She was furious that Prince George and Princess Charlotte were in the wedding as key members of the bridal party. When the Queen saw that they were not included, it angered her and she was told she had to included them! This must have enraged her and I’m not surprised about the way young Princess Charlotte was treated by her, it was spite because she didn’t want her anywhere, near the bridal party, again a way of hitting out at the late Queen, who told her she had to have them both in the bridal party! I did read an article that she allegedly said she always wears shoes one size bigger, so she never gets blisters!
I feel like someone once upon a time told her: “you have great shoulders, you should really highlight them!”. And apparently she liked the advice (or maybe her own opinion) and decided to “show them off”. It’s the only explanation I can think of because it seems that she purposely wears necklines and designs that emphasize her broad shoulders. The wedding dress would have been salvageable IF it was fitted properly and I think it would have been much nicer if it had had embroidery along the bottom of the dress and the sleeves. And the white floral dress at the nursing home reminds me of the summer dresses we wore the end of the 90’s, early 00’s but not on a grown woman on the world stage!!!
As a South African, I can’t tell you the massive eye rolls after the “nobody asked if I’m ok” comment. And yes, many of us gathered to watch the 2018 wedding with a lot of hope and excitement … but we certainly didn’t dance in the streets like when Nelson Mandela was released. Or when we won the Rugby World Cups over the years 🙄🇿🇦 I certainly hoped for the best for H&M - I adored Diana and have always followed the royal family. I had my doubts in the engagement interview and also after watching the interview with the Fab 4 on the stage, but really hoped for a great story for H, especially as he has visited Southern Africa over the years and seems to have an affinity for this part of the world. But sadly it has all gone up in smoke and I’m not sure if the public will ever forgive them. The royal family are still family, and as hurt as they probably are, they may harbour hopes of reconciliation and I respect that. I used to think M was the sole cause of their downfall, but I have to say that H’s compliance means he is complicit, and one day that is going to haunt him. If not already.
I was taught that when you try on clothes and there is puckering , it points to where the garment is too tight. I see this ignored problem on Meghan so often. Obviously she didn’t have my home economics teacher Mrs Lathrop. ❤
What makes the 'pudding pants' seems even more unforgivable as a fashion choice is that Meg's was with the impeccably dressed Catherine, so the comparison looked all the more disastrous. I have a confession to make, I used to be homeless, so my family and I spent a week or so living in the bottom of her pants, lol.
I'm 71....when I was pregnant in 1977 and 1979 the last thing I wanted was the public staring at my stomach. I just don't understand why women today want to stand around holding onto their stomachs like they're afraid the baby is going fall out of them. That just looks soooo stupid and dumb!!!!!
I was the same way and I was pregnant in 2007 and 2015. I went for the circus tent look because I'd rather people think I was extra fluffy than pregnant! It saved me so much hassle with strangers giving unsolicited advice or even worse, reaching for my bump and getting a slapped hand 🤣
I was pregnant twice. Our center of gravity changes, so we wear a maximum of one inch shoes. When we crouch we are like frogs, and we need assistance, either from someone or holding on to something to come up. Because she did not want the moonbump to fall to her knees (it actually did happen) she holds it above and below. She is able to crouch low in high heels with her knees together with a big tummy, and when she stood up, it popped back in shape. She is alternately big and smallish from one photo to the next. These are basically the reasons her pregnancy is fake.
The floral dress to the nursing home is horrendous!! I feel like she wanted her bump to pop *and* to show she was still thin despite her pregnancy. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that dress must have been. Jfc.
the word was that she made the designer change the wedding dress EVERY day...it was driving the seamstresses crazy and screamed at them. That train was awful...this is her 2nd or 3rd marriage and the train was massive. It was the designer's idea to embroider the flowers of the Commonwealth into her veil.....she was shocked to hear Megs take credit for the idea, but she'd signed an NDA, so she couldn't say anything. You do NOT wear bare shoulders in the Anglican church, btw!! NEVER!!
@@buffys3477 so true! the Queen as head of the Anglican church was a stickler for tradition. One of the reasons her face looked like thunder when Megs walked up the aisle past her, i expect. Actually, no high Anglican or Catholic is supposed to show her/his shoulders in church, but the churches are relaxing their rules to get a larger congregation . I can't see a priest yelling at a bride when she walks in to get married.... (though that's a fun picture running through my head now) All the best to you!!
Great video ladies! The Wimbledon umpires and line judges wear white trousers and a similar striped shirt by Ralph Lauren and as soon as I saw Madam in that outfit it just made me laugh. How she managed to go down the steps in the Royal Box without falling flat on her face is a miracle. Seeing her next to the immaculately dressed Catherine just made her look even more ridiculous. 😂 Her wedding dress was a very poor rip off of the dress worn years earlier by Princess Angela of Lichtenstein. Princess Angela is a designer who designed her own gown and she looked fabulous. By contrast Madams wedding dress was very badly fitted and the whole pure white dress and way too long veil just looked silly for a second (for her) wedding. No wonder Her Majesty the Queen didn’t look happy!
@debbrueggemann3762 I thought the same. I'd have loved to have seen the outfits - including the ones in Jen's video - worn by the original designers' models. One of many of Me-again's problems is that she thinks she's a supermodel. 😂 Guess what, Megs, they are all at least 6" taller than you. I bet her terrible puddling trousers would look the right length on them. 😊
Meghan made every mistake with her wedding dress! Not only plain but she’s been around the block several times so lay off the white and the veil! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The white dress that's too tight - if you look closely at the side profile, you can see the edge of the moon bump, which I think she squeezed under a regular dress. She chooses outfits by designer name and nothing else. She wants people to see that she can afford couture even if it looks terrible. The wedding dress cost so much due to labour costs, then the label/silk. She was difficult, constantly making changes, then ran out of time. Cosplaying the black princess dress you mentioned and a long train like Diana etc.
Meg's wedding gown looked like a David's Bridal clearance dress! But I will give Meg's MUA an A+ on her bridal makeup! It was very virginal, and we all know THAT was hard to do on a 36 yr old "blushing" divorced bride.
Even when she was still in England and had fabulous stylists with huge experience to take advice from she refused to lean from them. As we now know she is delusional, she believes she knows best, she thinks she is fashion forward, she thought she was going to show the Royal family how to be stylish and edgy, she is convinced she is a particular size and will not size up no matter what the outcome of sticking with her fantasy size.
She asked each patient how long he/she had been there. That was the only question, no effort beyond that to converse with them. She was only there a short time and grabbed her coat and told her people she was out. It was one of her first photo ops and showed how little she cared about charity. (On her trip to the seniors' home.)
One of the many things that I love about Catherine is that she takes the time to listen to people. When she is at an engagement she sits and has conversations with each person. Plus, she looks them in the eye while they are talking.
As her brother Thomas says; Skidmarkle should never be allowed around the elderly, children, or animals…. If my big brother said this about me, I would be mortified But then again, I have a conscience & a♥️
This is such a great blend of two people who can really tell a story and point out details that I would miss if it were not pointed out. You two make a great team.
On the gray dress I believe that the upper line on the dress is because there is some facing to add structure and shape to the collar, but the dress is so darn tight that you can see where the area of facing end. On a normal person that wore the correct size there would actually be some give so with the facing that area could stand a bit rather than just flop or even to prevent it from stretching out depending on the fabric. Facing isn't like lining, you don't have to (usually) continue it along the entire area of the reverse side of the garment. (just realizing you probably know this all... anyway,,, I grew up sewing)
I have heard and read about the story of two wedding dresses as well. It makes perfect Mehag sense. Disrespecting her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and the monarchy and the British people and the church. No curtsy for the queen after the wedding and the evening dress that would be look better on a linebacker and her hair always messy because she thinks her look sexy. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
I get the impression that she suddenly found herself in a situation where she could spend an unlimited amount of money on herself and her lack of understanding about true elegance made her choose these unsuitable outfits. About the gray dress with the floating panel, I think that was in case she went somewhere to eat and was asked to dry the dishes.
She wears things that are suitable for someone 5 inches taller than her. Also, I think she wears samples; she clearly doesn’t have them altered for her.
probably because she has to return them.. i don’t think she’s the type to *pay* for such things,in her mind she deserves to get them for free because she’s soooo awesome (🙄).. but even so,there are non-permanent alterations..so she’s just lazy,i guess..
MM drives me nuts ALWAYS TOUCHING her ? moon bump . She can't let go of Harry either . Every time I look at her , I think she's acting. There is nothing real or authentic about her
I thought the 5 mile wedding veil was wrong and totally white was wrong. The dress could have been Champaign or soft shell pink. The dress could have been soft and the wedding just less. It was so overblown for a divorced 40ish woman. I read that the dress is silk but two layers bonded together and that is why it was stiff. I liked the going away dress.
I thought her going away dress was like ridiculous not the dress for a Royal. Even if she was told it was inappropriate it would matter not. That’s her deal everyone is ignorant but her. 🤮🤮
The Queen told her not to wear white so she should have worn a beautiful blush colored gown with lace or embroidery which would have looked beautiful! Even a blush veil dyed to match would have been lovely. This would have pleased the Queen and Prince Philip and satisfied the Church’s modesty requirements.
You have to wonder what Catherine was thinking when she saw the length of MM' pants at Wimbledon 😂 Plus the dirt she gathered must have been impressive.
Everything she did on her wedding day was spiteful! the messy hair screaming to HMTQ bc she didn’t get the tiara she wanted! The boat neck, the ugly white dress, the over the top veil she was screaming w her wardrobe F U I’m an innocent virgin! I was so disappointed expecting a beautiful Royal wedding dress. Now I understand to lower ur expectations w MM
I thought she’d wear a color, something interesting like what Camilla wore for her wedding to Charles. That was very stylish, individual and age appropriate.
Though my FAVORITE story was about the tiara, and HMTQ was concerned she’d ‘lose’ it like she did the 100K Diamond bracelet so the Queen had it copied. At the wedding the big phony is wearing a fugazi tiara! PLUS, she DID ‘lose’ it but think what her face looked like when whoever appraised it, told it was GLASS😆The Queen SEES you Meg the Scammer!
Re: Tiara- But in Harry’s book, SPARE, Harry had said that originally, Meghan wasn’t going to wear a tiara, since she wasn’t being offered one by the Queen’s dresser. So the Spencer family stepped in and offered Meghan the Spencer tiara-only then did the queens dresser relent and gave Meghan access to choose one.
I'm sure the dress she wore to the nursing home was NOT a maternity piece. I actually think a lot of her pregnancy looks were not maternity clothes. Like the white top/waiter apron and the black-and-white top.
I heard she told king charles she needed more money to buy maternity clothes. It looks like she pocketed the money and just squeezed herself and the moonbump into regular clothes.
Givenchy should have told her where she stick her ideas and walked away from designing the wedding dress rather than having their name associated with that mess. Loved the two of you commenting together!
The designer Claire had received a fashion award at the event where MM gate crashed and bullied Rosamund Pike out of giving the award. The velvet dress where MM was cradling the bump.
Love this! Two of my favourite youtubers collaborating! The wedding dress. There's a rumour she wanted to wear the amazing Stella McCartney dress as her main wedding dress. In order for this plan to work, it was deliberate that the ill fitting, plain dress was such a mess. However, she was told she had to wear it. It was felt the SM was too revealing. Soooooo karma walked her down the aisle.... Well played Queenie 👑
The Wimbledon outfit , I think she thought she was sooo clever , because she was echoing a linesman’s uniform , but of course it didn’t work . Also you’re not allowed to wear a hat in the Royal Box , Its protocol , so Katherine may have had to tell her and that’s why she was fuming ! Because she is MARRIED to that ffing hat 😂
I remember about 20 years ago stylists would take a photo of clients back and front, then together they would see how everything looked on them. Especially for red carpet events. Seeing how things look on you is a learned skill. Think it's a great tip. None of us perceive ourselves very well. Most of us think we look worse than we do, to fat, whatever. Don't think that's her problem. Wedding dress comparison was eye opening. Even flowers were a copy. Well done you're both delightful together.
I remember that too! All stylists, makeup and continuity artists etc all carried Polaroid instant cameras. And it must be even easier now with digital.
@@ruthomas8942 I remember they'd do magazine shoots as they were getting ready for red carpet events and they'd show this tip. Back in paper magazine days.
So frightfully often, Meghan’s clothing errors come down to poor fit. There are other mistakes, but dodgy fit reigns supreme. It’s surprising, and completely unnecessary. Thanks, ladies, love your joint commentary!
Every new article of clothing she buys must be straight off the peg. After that, it's either that she won't work with stylists, or they won't work with her. Maybe it's a little from column A, a little from column B.
I heard somewhere during the media coverage after the wedding day, that one of King Charles' (then POW's) friends allegedly said of the wedding dress, that it looked like it was made out of cement. The friend was admonished to keep the criticism to himself and i never heard anything about it again. Did anyone else hear this or was I dreaming? Because I do think that dress material looks sooooooo heavy -- she looks weighed down -- a cement wedding dress -- it's too funny.
No 8 fittings for the wedding dress. It was 8 hissy fits for the wedding dress. I am calculating what she could have saved if she had bought her stuff at Walmart. They sell wedding gowns there.
I found you yesterday. I have watched about a dozen of your videos so far and can't seem to stop. I am about as far from a fashionista as one can get as I live in the Florida Keys, so exist almost totally in tank tops and shorts. I grew up a redneck tomboy out West so there was absolutely nothing fashionablethere either. I find I do agree with most of your points, which is new for me and anyone talking fashion. I also intensely dislike MM. Something that you haven't really brought up about her (or I haven't found it yet) is that she considers herself a fashion maven, so she isn't going to listen to anyone else's opinion. I think one of the reasons she picked that particular dress is to be as different from Catherine as she could. MM HATES being in her shadow which I still think was a major reason they left. I hadn't seen that grey disaster yet, but it was atrocious. Another butt ugly thing was that thing she wore recently that looked like a brown paper bag. I've seen so many comments about how beautiful she looked in it and I finally realized that I DON'T have the worst fashion sense in existence. 😂😂
Beebs, you knocked it out of the park on Jen's channel and I'm super excited for this episode!!! You looked/look absolutely stunning! ✨️ (You know I'm biased.) 😉 I also really enjoy the longer length videos! 💫 Great job!!! 💛
Her go-to preference has always been boatnecked (pink, grey, olive, wedding, etc) & halter even though neither suited her nor the occasions when she wore them. Difference between her & Catherine is like comparing chalk to cheese. Catherine's parents paid for her wedding dress & she wasn't a divorcee so for a 1st time bride, it was fine to wear white + a veil. Apparently QE especially remarked that a veil wasn't suitable for a previously married woman. How Givenchy could have just kept quiet when such disastrous results came from wearing their brand for such a worldwide event has always puzzled me - especially Charlotte's ill fitting bridesmaid dress. Some of the most expensive designer clothes at her fingertips & she looks so bad all the the time is an achievement few can aspire to.
It was the veil that the Queen wasn't happy about and what it represents, which is a lot. Especially in religious purposes and does not represent a woman on her 2nd marriage
The other look that was horrible that you didn’t do was the poop emoji hat when she stuck out her tongue to the crowds at Christmas. Definite sign of things to come!
@@jennyfairbairn2525 Ha ha , YES. Those descriptors fit the outfits so perfectly, I forget they aren’t officially called those names. Just like I say Helloooooooo Magazine too!😀.
Does anyone else think her announcing her pregnancy at Eugenie’s wedding was done precisely to upstage the bride on her big day ALL because Princess Eugenie got to wear and showcase the exact Tiara at her wedding that Meghan demanded for hers and got denied. That was the center of the whole ‘What Meghan Wants, Meghan Gets’ debacle, and I believe Meghan chose to announce her pregnancy SO early on only had to do with upstaging Eugenie and that tiara as Meghan felt she was sidelined on her big day. Shes so so petty giving Michael of Kent a run for her money and name…a grifter like Meg would LOVE to take whatever she can from attention from others to tabloid nicknames. Can she be stopped?!
The floral dress would've had me pulling at it all day long. I'd have had to go to the bathroom to try to fix it every 10 minutes. She forgot she was visiting a generation that wore loose dresses to camouflage the belly, or at least to try to. This dress was a hootchi Mama dress back then. Believe me she did not impress.
That is the squarest baby I have ever seen. You have to believe she and Harry were either deliberately humiliating the Royal Family by faking a pregnancy, OR they are Stark Raving Mad.
The shoes get me she can't walk properly they are far too high for her and make her skinny legs look awful she would be able to walk without wobbling if she was to choose shoes with a lower heel
You and Jen are so right with Megains outfits. They were awful. Megain has only worn a couple of dresses that are nice looking but then she adds something to it or too much makeup.
She never went to the fittings. She DIDN'T HAVE 8 fittings. She was BOOKED in EIGHT TIMES TO BE FITTED. She wouldn't GO. Also it's COMMONLY daid that she claimed to be pregnant to trap him. Which looking at the fitting TOTALLY makes sense. It's built for extra room around the boobs waist arms and back. Because you gain the weight all over your torso. Her lies about being pregnant meant the extra room made her square shape look even MORE square. ☠️🤡☠️🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣 The givenchy staff said it's just because she wouldn't go to the fittings and they said she got married in the MOCK UP because she kept changing her mind on details and never went to fittings. So her ACTUAL wedding dress was NEVER MADE/COMPLETED. So she only had the mock up. And even THEN she STILL WOULDN'T go to emergency fittings to make the mock up fit. Apparently she was FAR too busy plotting and partying with Jessica. Celebrating the end to a VERY successful hunt. They couldn't believe their luck. She was busy at soho house and keeping Marcus Anderson and her customers happy. ☠️🤡☠️🤦♀️🤷♀️ Also i hate the fact that people understand women who are stuck in abusive relationships but then mock belittle and attack men in abusive relationships. If Harry was a princess there would be rioting in the streets demanding to SAVE HER from her abusive husband. We'd understand that growing up so protected and sheltered would make her an easy target 🎯 yet with males it's perfectly fine to ignore these facts and just blame him. WHEN do we artack women in abusive relationships, belittle their intelligence or blame the abuse on them... NEVER. So WHY is it ok to blame the abuse men suffer on them. I spent a LOT of time growing up in the Cotswolds and often met people who knew harry and hung out with him. He hated that nobody ever dropped the protocol and just treated him normally. He just wanted real friends and a loving family of his own, he desperately wanted what William and Catherine have. He's well loved, not for being PRINCE Harry. Just for being HARRY. He's polite kind caring compassionate and empathetic, everyone who's ever known him even for shortest time would tell you how easy he could become a victim to snake 🐍 gold-digger like meagain. She's a prostitute. She knows EXACTLY how to play men. And he isn't exactly worldly. He doesn't know what to look for. She knows that he feels the need to protect after losing his mother and used that to trap him. Lady C and many others have also insinuated the reason Harry hates her father so much anf why she's had to cut off all contact is because one of the VERY FIRST things she told Harry at the very very start of the relationship was that her father molested and abused her sexually! She told him she was all alone and needed protecting, played his weaknesses. And if ANYTHING happened that she didn't like she blamed him completely for it and told him he was failing at protecting her. How could he love her and claim to protect her if he won't do x y z. I've met women JUST like her and they ALWAYS lie about being abused. Because it makes men feel like you're trusting them eith your deepest secrets and looking to them for help and protection... And it also hides the fact that THEY'RE the abuser. Just look at amber heard. 😂 If you thought Johnny Depps comeback in the public eye was huge i think Harry's will be even bigger. I think after the divorce settles he'll end up doing something with charities for men's mental health and struggles with domestic abuse.
As a subscriber to both your channels, this is the crossover that I never thought I needed ❤ Also, the clothes per se are not ugly. They are just abused to death and not worn like they are supposed to.
About the terrible tight blue/white print “maternity” dress: my guess is that in order to pull off this look, the wearer first puts on a roomy dress over the deflated moon bump, then pumps up the prosthetic to match the provided cavity. The reason it looks square in some of the photos is that she probably didn’t notice she had overinflated the bump, then after a mirror check she brought it down to a volume that would appear more convex, like a normal genuine authentic pregnant contour would.
I would be so grateful to have someone helping me dress up to avoid possible mistakes and offer help at all time…. Really don’t understand why she didn’t like to be styled! Can you imagine how much easier it would be????? She really missed an amazing opportunity….
It just shows that she appreciated neither the wedding or the concept of marriage - I mean, it was her second, third? Been there, done that, now with more opportunity to whore for attention. Whether you're religious or not, traditional or not, if you're given that kind of chance ... no sane person would risk tarnishing that day with petty childish contrarianism. The annoying thing is, she doesn't even feel the loss.
She was always merching for whatever designer would provide her with the clothes so she had to wear them if they fit or not or she didn't get her cut of the pie. She wore spring/summer clothes in winter for the upcoming Spring fashion collections of particular designers and fall/winter clothes in spring and summer for the upcoming Fall fashion collections. And as a narcissist, she thinks she's looks absolutely fabulous in everything she wears.
She wears a summer dress in the winter and wool coats in the summer. I think she’s an alien from a planet where the seasons are the opposite of earth’s.
I agree with the two of you that the too tight nursing home dress was the worst thing she wore. The fitting couldn't have been worse! And, it was way out of season.
I can think of only one mitigating factor. Retirement homes are kept quite warm because the elderly complain of cold, often due to circulatory issues. So while I may want to wear short or no sleeves on a visit, I wouldn’t want to wear something out of season. Wearing colors in keeping with the actual season would be a good compromise.
That white background with flowery print is one of the most horrible things I have seen even on Markle. There was nothing even marginally acceptable about this disaster. So tired of hearing her dresses "needed one more fitting", when it has long been obvious she does not understand the concept of 'fittings'.
That dress was for a wedding but I will say, she didn’t show up the bride!😆If the sofa slipcover wasn’t bad enough then she had that white toilet tissue hat! Harry must never say ‘So THAT’S the look you’re going with at a WEDDING??!? Never mind, I’m ordering Kentucky Fried and watching the game!’
Oh I knew. The second he wheeled out ol' chicken legs grinning like a Cheshire Cat in Doria's big shoes I turned to my partner and said " Here we go, I always knew Harry would be the one to F it up"🤣
I really hated Diana's dress. It was too poofy (even for the 1980's) and voluminous. The only time that Fergie outdid Diana was on the selection of her wedding dress.
@@serahloeffelroberts9901I totally agree with you, I loved Diana but even aged 14 when they married I thought the dress was too much, Fergie's dress was perfect for her, I think it's the one time that Fergie looked absolutely amazing.
The nursing home visit , was in the early days of her Megnancy , I think the tightness made her feel secure in the early days , when she might have been afraid the bump would slip along with the mask !

At least she's constant about that!!
Best comment for this presentation. I truly disliked her wedding dress. She could have the best stylist in the world but if she won't take the advice.....the results speak for themselves
💯 👍
The wedding dress is awful and she was so rude to the gentleman who tried to help her out of the car.
Yeah that was shocking when she slapped his hand away. She’s comedy gold.
Megan's dress looks better on the mannequin than it did on her. It fits better, too.
I think her veil was trying to mimic Princess Diana. She flopped big time.
I have come to the conclusion that Givenchy actually dislike Meghan, and that is why they are constantly designing really bad, ill-fitting clothes for her, then sitting back and laughing 😀
dont think it's Givenchy's fault, I imagine that Meghan kept asking for it to be changed
I agree with @joannagodfrey5111 but your original comment made me laugh
@@fibanocci314 Well, yes, I suspect @joannagodfrey5111's interpretation is probably closer to correct, but I still like to think of the Givenchy staff sitting back killing themselves laughing as they say, I can't believe she fell for it, .
I'm beginning to think MM buys everything @ high end 2nd hand shops. She likes it and buys it whether it is the correct size or not.😅
Not a maternity dress I think🤔
every royal has made bad fashion choices including Diana and Catherine, but Meghan took it to another level. Some of her choices were so awful they bordered on grotesque.
To be fair, Diana had the misfortune to be around in the 80's... no one looked good in tbe 80's😅
True, I have destroyed so many photos from the 80's it's not funny!@@fabulousnewt770
The difference is, in Kate's case, bad fashion choices are the exception. In Meg's case, they're the rule.
Fergie and her daughters have made some DOOZIES. Sophie and Zara get extra points for learning along what must be a really difficult path.
This was in the Royal Box where pants were not acceptable for ladies. She couldn’t even get the dress code right.
That black and white floral spring/summer, completely inappropriate dress was NOT made to be a maternity dress. It was an exceedingly odd choice and there’s no way it could have been comfortable on a pregnant person.
Woman. Pregnant woman.
It reminds me of the IKEA bedding with a similar print lol
Look back at old pics of Wallis Simpson ….. she wore a black dress almost exactly the same !!!!!

That red dress takes the cake for me, just dreadful.
The best stylists were placed at her disposal. It was absurd that she ruined potentially beautiful combinations. Catherine had also made mistakes in the early days. But she did a good job afterwards.
The horrible nursing hr dress is likely saying, "look at poor me. The RF is not helping me with my clothing."

What I can't wrap my head around that dress cost so much. I know it is a bespoke Givenchy dress but still it looked like a Value Village find.
@@jaydee9124she paid for the name not the design. Mine was a village value dress by Jasper Conran and only paid £80 for it.
Catherine's wedding dress reminded me of Grace Kelly, the epitome of grace and elegance.
The dress was perfact for the one who wore it...poor shape and choice!
Also - the "Nursing Home" dress looks summer and it was worn in winter.......and yet she is seen other times in heavy coats in warm weather. Weird.
You know, we all are surprised by her decisions but we all forget this woman's rumored past activities before Harry.
No class - no taste.
I know if I ever wore anything too tight or didn't look right and made me uncomfortable I would be so self conscious, with no confidence at all.
I have never seen anyone that wears pants that puddle on the ground. They would probably get so dirty
I’ll never forget how disappointed I was when I saw M’s dress. I almost felt robbed. Lol
Me too! But I didn't like her from the beginning so it was easy to not like her dress 🙃 my daughter said it's OK 🙄 Harry seems to be oblivious to his wife's fashion fails 😂😂
I loved the dress itself…but it was the wrong style for her and didn’t fit.
I was thinking the same thing about Kathryn Hepburn. She wore those pants perfectly. 👖
100% agree!
Excellent comment about the chapel length veil.
You're right, Katharine Hepburn wore wide leg pants impeciably. 🥰
Forever 21
As a South African, I can’t tell you the massive eye rolls after the “nobody asked if I’m ok” comment. And yes, many of us gathered to watch the 2018 wedding with a lot of hope and excitement … but we certainly didn’t dance in the streets like when Nelson Mandela was released. Or when we won the Rugby World Cups over the years 🙄🇿🇦
I certainly hoped for the best for H&M - I adored Diana and have always followed the royal family.
She probably thinks "Everyone thinks I'm hot & sexy! They're staring at my boobs!"
Love this collaboration from 2 of my favorite creators!
I have a horrible feeling she thought she was giving the elders a special treat by presenting her, ahem, charms so burstingly ☺️
Love this collaboration too
Did she not look in the mirror and see her tube-boobs?
I was taught that when you try on clothes and there is puckering , it points to where the garment is too tight. I see this ignored problem on Meghan so often. Obviously she didn’t have my home economics teacher Mrs Lathrop. ❤
We were also taught to do the crush test on the fabric. Thank you Mrs Taylor!

I agree and I wish more women knew this, those horizontal strain lines mean clothes are too small!🙂

Same here. I was pregnant in 1977 too. I never went around holding my midsection. I wore big clothes, trying to not draw attention to the pregnancy.
I was pregnant in 1977 and I wore maternity clothes. People could see you were pregnant but your clothes were not hugging your bump.
I was pregnant in 86 and we still had beautiful maternity dresses at that time.
In the white & black dress, her moon bump is SQUARE! 😮

The floral dress to the nursing home is horrendous!! I feel like she wanted her bump to pop *and* to show she was still thin despite her pregnancy. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that dress must have been. Jfc.
You forgot to mention the back fat!
2 sizes too small.
You can see the shape of the moon bump under the dress at the back where it overlaps to stick to the velcro fastening
The moonbump put in an official complaint.
I remember my reaction at the time, I couldn’t believe this horrible dress and wayyyy to cold for winter. So so weird
the word was that she made the designer change the wedding dress EVERY day...it was driving the seamstresses crazy and screamed at them. NEVER!!
If the royal family had just told her that she must show her shoulders she would have worn a turtleneck.
I’d love to see Beebs use photoshop to alter the outfits to show them as they should be worn.
She never cease to amaze me on how classless she is. I can only imagine QEII pain in her last days. God bless her!!
It would be cool to see these outfits worn correctly
I completely agree with you
If any TH-camr had the money out would be cool to see a fashion show of this, lol
Great idea
I've seen better looking clearance rack dresses.
At least the makeup wasn't orange.
Just ask her, she’ll actually tell you she’s the smartest person in the room.
She thinks she’s perfect and always right. She listens to no one’s advice…….
Not so, because she frequently DOES size up, wearing ridiculously big clothes.
@@cherylreaves253 Is she any distant relation to Donald Trump, he says the same thing!
@@patricialong3492 can you give me an example?
She asked each patient how long he/she had been there. That was the only question, no effort beyond that to converse with them. She was only there a short time and grabbed her coat and told her people she was out. It was one of her first photo ops and showed how little she cared about charity. (On her trip to the seniors' home.)
One of the many things that I love about Catherine is that she takes the time to listen to people. When she is at an engagement she sits and has conversations with each person. Plus, she looks them in the eye while they are talking.
As her brother Thomas says; Skidmarkle should never be allowed around the elderly, children, or animals….
If my big brother said this about me, I would be mortified
But then again, I have a conscience & a♥️
I remember that video of MM going along asking every resident, "how long have you been here?" So unfeeling and fake. Cringe.
She’s quite unconcerned about mere mortals, and considers herself far above them.
There are rules and expectations when becoming part of the Royal family. If you don’t like the rules don’t join the club!
A perfectly fitting simple white dress? Pippa’s bridesmaid dress
This is such a great blend of two people who can really tell a story and point out details that I would miss if it were not pointed out. You two make a great team.
She was obnoxious to the fitters. The look in the Queens face when she came into the Cathedral said it all about the choice of dress
Absolutely 👍🏽
Catherine could wear a burlap sack and make it look like a million dollars.
True and the sack would at least be ironed!
Probably belted, and with a great pair of pumps that she wore twice before 😂 So true.
Plus the bust darts wouldn't be straining and emphasized as lines in the correct size
@@joywebster2678 absolutely
It's at least two sizes too small. Egads!
Exactly. The facing shouldn't be visible, but then neither should her bra!
Yes you're right
I have heard and read about the story of two wedding dresses as well.
I also heard that her wedding dress was not the one that was approved by the Queen; it was another one.
Same. Camilla's wedding was tasteful. Loved the gold head-dress as well.@@spiritmatter1553
Hmm I never read H’s book. Thanks for the information.
Wasn't the designer Claire (something) dismissed from Givenchy shortly afterwards?
The designer Claire had received a fashion award at the event where MM gate crashed and bullied Rosamund Pike out of giving the award. The velvet dress where MM was cradling the bump.

I found you yesterday. I have watched about a dozen of your videos so far and can't seem to stop.

Yay! Thank you!

The tiara debacle makes total sense.
Didn't she announce something else at.... Was it Beatrice's wedding?
Another too tight dress. When I was pregnant with my children I wore loose fitting outfits and I put on over 2 stone (28 lbs)!
Me too, weight just seemed to roll on I looked terrible, I never enjoyed being pregnant, in fact it was torture...
two of my favorite ladies together.. it's a real treat to see you two collaborating. Thank you.
The floral dress would've had me pulling at it all day long. I'd have had to go to the bathroom to try to fix it every 10 minutes.
She forgot she was visiting a generation that wore loose dresses to camouflage the belly, or at least to try to. This dress was a hootchi Mama
dress back then.
As a subscriber to both your channels, this is the crossover that I never thought I needed ❤
Also, the clothes per se are not ugly. They are just abused to death and not worn like they are supposed to.
The RF must've just thrown up their hands at her and Hasnone's refusal to go with protocol and I think they chucked them out.
That bra business dress: I have never seen a royal carry such a big bag. She could have carried a laptop and business report in that suitcase.
She probably did! She probably popped the laptop out and said let me show you how amazing I am!!
Hahahaha 🤣🤣@@dawnochs2018
The color is called wet cement.
OMG! The handkerchief hem skirt as a dress with a white blazer did me in. I’m gonna get a drink 😮
😂😂😂
and no stockings, in December... yikes, flaunting protocol
Her wedding hairstyle looks like MM just came from the gym. 🤦
Markle adheres to the Kim Kardashian fashion mantra : there’s no such thing as too tight
I wouldn't even be able to breathe in that dress even if I was not pregnant. It's super duper tight, she's suffocating herself.
For her I’m sure the term “fitting” means “make the designer or tailor change one more thing because I know best”
Why does it always look like Meghan is Anne Boyeln desperately clinging on to her bump like her life depends on it. Lol😂
Real Housewives Recaps has made me cry from laughing! Especially her "look at me" and "I gotta pee" videos!
I really did not want this video to end!
That wedding dress is the worst ever! Little did we know that it foreshadowed what was to come.
I watched the two on Jen's channel just before.. nearly 3 hours and I could watch more😅
Oh I knew. The second he wheeled out ol' chicken legs grinning like a Cheshire Cat in Doria's big shoes I turned to my partner and said " Here we go, I always knew Harry would be the one to F it up"🤣
@fabulousnewt770 Oh I did too! Honk honk!
@@Lana.S.Boyd49 hahaha
@@fabulousnewt770 thank you so much ❤
Who wears too long white pants while walking on GRASS!
You don’t notice the incredibly long puckered crotch of the white Wimbledon pants because of the distracting puddling pants.
When it comes to fashion I think Markle is to Catherine what Fergie was to Diana. One is stunning in everything she wears the other isn't/wasn't
I think Fergies wedding dress looked much prettier than Diane's.
That wedding dress is almost as tragic as her "career".
In the late 80’s there was a product where you can turn a shirt into a skirt and then into a sarong……maybe she felt nostalgic?
The nursing home visit , was in the early days of her Megnancy , I think the tightness made her feel secure in the early days , when she might have been afraid the bump would slip along with the mask !
Exactly right.
