Sometimes I find that something as basic as this can really set you apart from other people in the work place! Great video
MINE SORTS SEPARATELY EVERYTIME
Hmm. Mine doesn't work. I have a dozen rows - but it only sorts 2-12 and leaves the top row as is. ??
And when Excel is STUPID, and DOES sort your title row with the rest, what then? I'm not sure saying that Excel is smart quite covers it.
If you only select one cell in the column and select sort a to z. it simply sorts that column and all the other columns stay in the same place. So data gets mixed up.
What if my sorting is about letters and not numbers? I am using excel 365 and it allows me to sort but only by colors, numbers and that I cant get it to sort alphabethically
I know this has been a minute but I'm just not seeing it. What am I doing wrong if when I click on the name column and A to Z and it puts one of the names above the labels. Like the column labels I have set up.
Unclear video
You mentioned to add a blank row or column to separate the data into another section that doesn't get sorted along with the rest. Well, I have done that accidentally, and now my data won't sort along with the rest -- but I can't find the blank row. How do I group the data together again?
I want to abuse you bro. You are the best solution provider one of the best creators on TH-cam
Just that simple step of inserting blank row or column to protect other data CHANGE EVERYTHING - THANKS 🙂
Excellent video and it was exactly what it says it is; all about sorting! Clear, concise and right on point! Thanks so much!
dude you are lifesaver.
Always appreciate your tutorials

As splendid as in your other briefs. Thank You. 🙏
You are a Legend.
Hi I’m new to your channel and am finding it extremely helpful as I’m working to brush up on my excel skills. I was wondering if you might be willing to do a video on extracting data from reports or other docs/applications. I also believe that data could be then turned into charts/pie charts? Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Great video. Basics raise curiosity.
