I love how this anime balanced seriousness with levity. The overall message seems to be entirely on point. Especially the last two episodes where we see increased global conflict, the failures of "something-springs" and how at least they no longer have dictators was an amusing quip. Lost so much to gain so little. In short, I think this whole anime is a damning report on modern day humanity, but damn is it true though: People will always. I used to dislike arms corporations, but this simply explains how natural they are.

i was so pumped to watch the anime when i listened to this song, like what kinda epic scene this must accompany !! but then it was such a letdown, at least visually
What? It's a really great anime. It's the reason I even got into anime period. There is another scene later on in the anime where this music plays and it's much more epic then when it plays at the begining of the series, trust me.
[SPOILER ALERT] What's so disappointing about it? I mean, Jormungand is now in place and the new world order has been established. What's there to say more?
MrSearaphim It just felt really rushed, anti-climatic, not any kind of drama, they did not even show Jormungand in action, all members just "lived happily forever", they turned Koko who was 1 of my favourites to one of my least favourites in 2 eps, there was no epic/good last fights where some of them would die, they just won everythink in blink of an eye. there would be alot of more, but im too lazy to point them out -_-

But instead he did what he would do which is, run, and then when everything was alright, run back. I didn't find it unrealistic

overkill1340 No doubt, Black Lagoon kicks ass. But my issue on Balalaika is that Hotel Moscow is pretty much just a big organized criminal group with no deeper goal (aside from reliving their glory days) as compared to Koko and HCLI (also, the irony of her hating war).
JakeObnial I find reliving the old days and making money more believable than stopping war by shutting down air travel. The concept was there and I would have even liked a closer look at Koko's hates war but sells weapons to fund the solution struggle and Jonah's hates weapons but knows no other way to live struggle, but in the end, the execution was poor and broke my suspension of disbelief. Take Kasper's epic speech about selling hatchets and replace "I'd sell..." with "Humans will kill each other with..." and that's how I felt at the end. A crap ton of people will die in crashed planes and then we'll kill each other with ships and tanks and then we'll use guns and swords and clubs if need be.
