    @Ianscape oh. There usually is a sign or something that says restrictions.

    @conrailforever1999: No, that was Amtrak Foreman DeGregorio the first time he approached me. Fortunately by the time he decided I had to go, the train was going by

    @UJackCity Oh, sorry. A few people told me they are public property. I try to stay away from stations, but there are people who just watch trains go by and the railroad doesn't really give a damn.

    The Northeast Corridor is giving me problems, too. It's NOT illegal. I find it funny how people can just make up their on laws. Nice video. Thumbs up.

    Railroad stations arent public property. Amtrak owns some of the stations and the the cities own some too. You cant just go wandering about.

    @CSXKid5016 Really? Who owns Amtrak?

    I'm guessing that it is probably a security tightened measure following a recent attack in mass transit. Just followed the rule and call it a day. It's not illegal to film trains since it is railfan hobby to do so. Its just only that time. Those workers should mind there own business and do their own work and/or just ask what are they filming for, but not forcing railfans out. As long as you film on public property, you should be alright.

    Amtrak owns Amtrak. And the U.S. Government. But they dont really own Amtrak, they just fund it. If it became self sustainable it would be entirely its own company.

    @boberttrain831 An Amtrak/SEPTA station on the NEC is Amtrak property, not public property and an Amtrak employee is legally allowed to ask you to leave. It's their Railroad. You are not there to board a train and not there waiting to pick someone up. For some reason the Amtrak guy didn't feel right about the video poster being there. Move on, come back another day.

    @boberttrain831 Railroad stations are usually Semi-public. Open for the public use, but can have restrictions. Kinda like how parks close at dusk, yada yada. John, you get any more problems shoot me an email, some times it takes a cop whos a railfan to get a knock some sense into other flatfoots!
