A special thanks to RC CWR for the collaboration on a fantastic short video. Chris and Will are a Father/Son RC team that brought their Kyosho Blizzard out to film with me on an RC ADVENTURE! Chris & Will also brought along a scale Ski-trailer they made (it's very light!), that pulls behind their blizzard! Brilliant innovation from these two, and I highly suggest you check out their TH-cam channel: / cwr2011rc They have a LOT of great scale RC fun and the quality of their builds and films are epic!
Our Kyosho Blizzards are modded, with Chris's Blizzard sporting 18t pinions, with the Traxxas 380 brushed motors.. and he is running a Sabertooth ESC, on a 2s Lipo.
Mine has the Metal Tracks, as well as a Sabertooth ESC. I run a spektrum DX4R radio, and was also running a 2s lipo. The sound kit was added, but is no longer available for sale on any sit that I know of.

It's not only the motors that make your blizzard slower , the heavy metal tracks slow the blizzard a lot, I have them and only like them to push snow or the look , and I almost never put them on.

Medic, I was wondering if you could do a comparison on the Kyosho Blizzard stock track vs the metal tracks vs the tracks from Spyker on a set a bunch of different
obstacles to see which has better overall performance. I plan on getting a Blizzard to play in the snow and I would like to know which track would be the best to go with the plow
and snow blower.

Medic I just got an axail scx10, it was working just fine then it kept randomly stopping. Do you know what I could do to fix it. Everything is stock
why not use modded steel tracks with rubber?

did you know that the hole (visible on 0:20 ) on the rear plate was featuring a hook on the old DF300 blizzard ?
Nice! In this model, it is where the on and off switch goes. I removed mine for direct current. Good idea though!

You will need to order pinions for the traxxas motors. the stock ones wont fit
