I think the reason that Twice can absorb you completely is because their true charm is their career development (like the main character in a story) which makes it better. You see 9 girls who aspire to be something in life, debut into a gg with very small chances of making it, worked hard to be worthy, charmed a whole nation, sticked with their rookie concept, transitioned in a more girlcrush bubble pop, went through scrutiny and discipline from the industry, matured into elegance, entered their "college" era which was different (m&m, icsm, alcohol-free), graduated into a more stable concept and stampled their Twice signature look into the kpop industry. Now they're more than a concept or a singing style, Twice IS a concept. I think that is what makes them very different and unique. They did the cutesy like no other has. They're such a force. Theyre performing at a global scale as a kpop group who is already known for their name instead of a kpop group who performs to be known. I think thats what sets them apart from other global kpop groups. As a latam, all i heard is latin music genres such as reggeaton, banda, salsa, etc., so songs like likey and cheer up were such culture shocks for me bc they were so different. But they sucked me in and ive been a fan since 2018. Their journey is so inspiring and beautiful and fun and exciting. And whats funny is that twice runs with destiny, they are so chill, they let it happen. Whatever happens, happens. They follow nothing or noone, they kind of do their own thing. Theyre just there, like if you like them thats great but if you dont, you dont. They can be anything you want them to be, a depression reliever, a therapy, a guilty pleasure, your friends (not literally) etc. They're so sweet and unbothered lol I love Twice ❤️ 😍 💖
