The first fold. Do you fold at the seam inside or do you fold it in 2", 3", 4" before beginning the triangle 📐 fold

Hi Shelley, you would just start the triangle, no folding in beforehand. If you start the video at 1:23 you can get a better idea of how Wes made his start. Hope that helps.

In my experience you can fold the end in (known as the Fly End) just enough so you have a clean edge to start your first 90. It's derisively called a "cheater fold." It might also screw up your ending, and you won't have enough to tuck in, so experiment with this beforehand. But no, it's not necessary.

"First few folds can be difficult" cuts the video so you cant watch them fold the fucking flag

The change you are seeing is camera angles. You actually see the first fold twice from a different angle. If I remember right, Wesley was having trouble with that fold staying taut so they filmed it a few different ways. I'll be sure to pass your comment onto the videographer.
