In 1983 we had to write a school report about technology of the next 100 years, and read it to the class. My best prediction was the cell phone (personal hip phones). My classmates thought it was my worst prediction even though some of my others were, electric cars would replace gas cars by 2010, a manned Mars landing around 2020 and fetuses would grow in artifical wombs starting around 2030. I also predicted supersonic trains but I dont remember the year. I think it was the latest, so around the 2080's.
