Fuerza y adelante...✌️
watching this now shows how much knowledge about aerodynamics in cycling has improved since then... imagine Indurain putting the same power on the pedals in a good TT position of today - how fast could he have been!!!
this Aeroposition is an Disaster looks like my Girlfriend first Ride on a Tri Bike. Bad Happens , with de Bordmann or Rominger Position (Later in 94) he will minimum 55km/h. Look Romingers attemp. But ok he won 5 Times the TDF that is enough :-)
@pedrazza5537 thought the same... even I as a 66yo amateur have now a much more aero position on my TT bike; if I only could put out half the power of him... obviously cyclists back then knew nothing about aerodynamics
55 km/h is little....At the Luxembourg time trial in the 1992 TDF, at the first check, Miguel was riding at 56 km/h with the same bad aeroposition lol;...With better aeroposition with current modern technology, my bet is Indurain would have probably be close to minimum 60 km/h. Indurain is the most powerful cyclist ever and the greatest time trialist of all time.
