- This week I can present to you the full DRIVE & SOUND test with the recently revealed 2015 / 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe delivering 585 hp and 760 Nm of torque through the well known 7-speed AMG SpeedShift. The design of course is a reason for debates, but as I mentioned earlier it really becomes less "frightening" if you are around the car for a couple of days. The overall looks are brutal all the way through, especially with those black 22 inch!!! wheels and 325 tires in the back;) The ride comfort is superb, everything from comfort to race is possible. In a chat with Matthias Malmedie we also agreed on the fact that the high-speed stability really is something that sets this car apart from others....awesome! When watching the acceleration you really need to remember that this particular SUV weighs 2.350 kg and has a huge surface to put against the wind. So 25 sec. to 250 km/h really is amazing. Will a BMW X6M be faster? I'm honestly not sure and maybe I will be able to find out later this year! One other great thing is the fitted AMG Performance exhaust. All the grunt from 5.5 liter displacement together with those pops and crackles on downshifts....a big, big show! If you LIKE watching this don't hesitate to COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE!

Not entirely your fault. It's hard to enjoy powerful cars on public roads. In Australia, you'll get fined and incure demerit points if you do 64km in a 60km zone. It's all for raising revenue

EngineReport Mann kann dem GLE Coupe nicht viel vorwerfen, vielleicht dass BMW bereits vorher die Fahrzeugkategorie hatte und das Design evtl. dem einen oder anderen zu viel des Guten ist. Aber technisch und von der Abstimmung ist der neue GLE ein klasse Wurf. Speziell beim Coupe als AMG ist der Spagat zwischen Sport und Komfort sehr groß. Das Fahrwerk hat eine unglaubliche Hochgeschwindigkeits-Stabiltät und auch die Lenkung ist im Sportmodus sehr direkt (wenngleich auch recht schwelgängig und daher "anstrengend" auf kurvigen Straßen). Motor wie gehabt Sahne, und Klang....naja, das beste was es bei AMG aktuell gibt und das schließt den GT (S) schon mit ein;)

Jetzt echt mal Leute, ja das Design und die Idee sind kopiert von BMW das sehe ich genau so, aber ich habe nichts dagegen , gut das Mercedes dieses Auto gemacht hat jetzt hat man die Wahl BMW oder Mercedes. jeder muss selber entscheiden was ihm besser gefällt. ich würde den Mercedes nehmen aber es ist meine Meinung jeder hat seinen eigenen Geschmack was ihm gefällt

Weil der Amg GTS den neuen 4 Liter Motor hat mit besseren Chip und die anderen noch den alten 5,5 Liter Motor haben. Die neue E Klasse bekommt 2016 auch als 63er Modell den 4 Liter Motor.

Wenn der AMG GT (S) 585 PS hätte wäre er stärker als der große Bruder SLS AMG.
Als Beispiel früher
C 63 AMG und E 63 AMG
Selber Motor jedoch hatte der E mehr Leistung ; )
Wäre ja blöd wenn man dem C 63 die Leistung vom SLS geben wûrde.

Domi TT 1.8TFSI Kann sein dass es eine Fehlproduktion aus China gab die vor dem X6 erschien und so ähnlich aussah, aber Fakt ist BMW hat diese Form mit dem X6 erstmals erfolgreich umgesetzt und genau davon will Mercedes jetzt mit dem GLE auch ein Stück vom Kuchen haben.
benni co wieso auch nicht? Wenn mir der X6 gefällt und ich aber mit BMW nicht zufrieden bin und lieber so einen von Mercedes hätte, was spricht da dagegen? Die meisten Regen sich hier auf als ob es verboten wäre ein concept zu kopieren. Gegen den hässlichen RCZ hat ja auch keiner was gesagt der den TT zu kopieren versucht. Mir persönlich gefällt der GLE auch deutlich besser als der X6

Looks freaking awful, BMW X6 copy.... Bad off road, bad handling because it's heavy and an SUV. Sure it might feel special and really comfortable to ride in, and with the 585 bhp monster V8 it sure has some go but i really don't see the point in buying this car, especially when it costs an awful lot of money.
