What a scary thing to go through, been through a few cyclones here in QLD and the best thing that comes out of it are people pulling together. The roots in almost all the trees I saw in your Vid looked really shallow. Thanks for sharing this. I've been following a few Filipinos and US expats for awhile now and through them I've seen how awesome people can be.
It's amazing. Our neighbor came out the next day and helped without us asking. Cut away the trees and made a path for us. So along the streets people came out to help others
It was a surprise to see you today at Robinsons Galleria. When Odette came through we were still in America. It ripped the roof off of our house in Minglanilla.

This breaks my heart.I'm retiring in May & moving to Bohol.My Girlfriend & both her sisters live in Baclyon.She was in lanao Del Norte with her parents so she is ok.But both her sister lost their roofs & severe damage to their house's.Their both now in a shelter.I've been there twice on vacation(Alona Beach) and I just love it there.My heart hurts for all the good people there who've been devastated right before the holiday.I've already sent a 500.00 donation for the disaster relief.I just wish I could do more.
Thanks. Most people are simply getting on with it. Not much else they can do. The local fire brigade were out yesterday chopping trees with cutlery, I mean machetes.
