What a great tip! I get these little holes all the time, and it’s always right in the front, I don’t wear a belt!, I started to think o had a moth in my closet. But why always in the same spot? Weird, anyway, I will use this tip. Thank you so much. I just love your channel.
I also thought it may be moths cause I wear my shirts twice before washing and will hang them in the same spot to air out. I already fix the holes this way but with fabric since the stitch witchery is sticky on both sides. I'm so glad I don't have moth.
All those holes in my teeshirts (exactly that place) are definitely to the fabric being 'cut' between my belt buckle and the edge of the kitchen (granite) benchtop
I was getting these holes in a lot of shirts. I couldn't figure out why. I almost thought it was my washing machine! I finally figured out, it was a cheap belt I bought off of amazon.
Great idea! I’ll have to try this the next time I get a hole in a shirt. Any suggestions on how to fix little picks in t-shirts? I get them all the time from my shirt rubbing on the work table.
That's very useful information. I use iron on interfacing on the back of holes, but I'm not familiar with webbing. I Googled webbing, but I don't think it showed me the right thing. Could you please post about what it is and where to get it? Thanks!
Janthis is genius. Today's Quote: ""Kindness is giving hope to those who think they are all alone in this world". I have a question , i have a dress made of t-shirt material. It was ripped in the front a rip about the size of a dime. Will this method work for that?Huge hugs. Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
Thank you for the great tip. Do you think this will work in larger holes? My kids have a lot of holes in their pants from playing and kneeling on their knees thanks.
Are you sure it’s supposed to be bumpy side down? Cause I just did this exactly like you said and I double checked the bumpy side was down and now I have to clean my iron.
I have 2 cats that occasionally put holes in my tops when I'm holding them, or sometimes they claw my hanging clothes (I have a walk thru closet). I'll try this patching method for sure. K
BRILLIANT!!! Thank you!!
Another great tip, thanks Jan

Thank you! Just about to get back into sewing after 30 years! Great channel…

Oh yes, why didn't I think of this. Now I can repair some shirts over here, thanks for the great tip!
Any time!
Thanks for the tip. Will you also do a video on how to fix the hole by hand sewing?
I will put that on my list.

Same place in my T’s too.
Yep, that will do it.
Thank you I was wondering how to fix the holes without sewing because you can see the thread
Awesome, glad it was helpful.

I would try the same method. I'm not sure what you mean by "picks".
Thank you for this video! Do you know if this is a safe or okay method to fix tiny holes in baby clothes?
Yes, it is safe.
Awesome! Thanks for this tip!

That may be too big to fix using this method.
Great hack! 😊
Thank you!
Love this tip.
Thank you!
OMG I thought I was the only one who had holes develop in that area in her t-shirts!
good to know, right
Sure i've inherited some from mother in law's sewing kit x
awesome
Thank you for the great tip. Do you think this will work in larger holes? My kids have a lot of holes in their pants from playing and kneeling on their knees thanks.
For pants you will need to use denim patch or fabric patch. In the future I will be doing a video on how to mend jeans that is really fun. Stay tuned.
Clever 👍🙂
Thank you!
Cool!
Thank you!
Gosh - found you during mask requirement x
glad you found me
Where do I buy that product?

Can you tell me if it’s possible to mend a hole in the elbow part of a sleeve?
If the hole is small, I would use the same method. If it is much bigger you can use an iron on patch.
This came just in time. I was going to be throwing away shirts as I clean out my closet.
awesome
I am always interested in „no sewing required“ thanks
You’re welcome 😊
Material name? And what happens if washed ?
This is knit fabric and it washes well. Stays on for a very long time.
😊
😉
I think it might be moths ?
Same. It's moths.
If it is the same place, the front, probably not moths.
