FFXI - Unlocking Mythic Weaponskills

- In this video I explain how to unlock Mythic weaponskills. To get these weaponskills you will need to get the base weapon used to make a mythic but you will not need to actually start the mythic upgrade process at all. Some of these weaponskills are quite strong and since they have the ability to make tier 3 skillchains they are definitely worth taking the time to unlock.

My place for WS points is Chariot in Abyssea Ule. There are 2 Chariots on top of the mountain. One is able to spam TP moves and when it TP moves it absorbs damage from WS. So you can fight it almost forever and you have advantage of 3 Atmas (take some regain, storeTP and multiattack ones)

Are you using a controller to play? If so what model and/or platform is the controller? I first gave this a shot on Xbox 360. Didn’t really play all that long. I just purchased all the expansions on sale this month. Using mouse and keyboard.

I prefer a controller for FFXI. Personally I use a PS2 controller with a usb adapter. However, any number of controllers can be used. My friend uses a PS4 controller and I have used Xbox 360 controllers for this on pc as well. Once you have your controller plugged in you simply need to open FFXI config (with the game itself closed) and check the box for using a controller. You can customize the buttons if desired. I just use the default button setup though.
cloudchief arcade thanks for responding. Yeah, this game is now officially even MORE amazing lol. I’m using a PS4 controller I had laying around and it’s simply plug and play. Just had to open up the config file like you mentioned and choose from a list of presets. I slightly modified the R2+L2 shoulder keybinds to act as control and alt keys for easy macro access. Holy hell what a difference and the game is 100 times more comfortable and easier.
Well, least one thing hasn't changed. Thank goodness I have every job's weapon done when came out long time ago =^.^= WOOT WOOT! Shujin Spiral FTW!!!!

So I just came back, hit level cap now i am looking to get geared, what weapon should I be going for? I got my ambuscade beginning weapon and was working on upgrading it but the guides I read say I should work on getting an ultimate weapon skill weapon, do you have a guide on this??
You should go ahead and finish your ambuscade weapon, because that will be much faster than making a REMA. However, you should also look into building a REMA weapon. You just need assault tags and the nyzul isle staging point.
