Give Bourke, NSW and Lightning Ridge, NSW a go.
You can fly to both from dibbo and each one is unique. Better if you drive so you can see everything.
They are unironically the smallest and shit towns.
If you want to push the envelope, Lake Cargelligo. Another proper small shit town with nothing.
