Hi Mike, Cayo Los Perdons, Cayo Cruz, Santa Lucia, Holguin, Santiago, Guardalavaca, Manzanillo and Trinidad should be added to your bucket list for Cuba. They all have different vibes but beautiful parts of the country. Cayo Saetia catamaran trip is a must when in Holguin. Safe travels and keep us entertained. Great videos.

Been watching and loving your videos preparing for our first trip to Cuba. Was in Thailand back in the 90’s and was one of my favourite places! If you have time to see Railay Bay I highly recommend it, although there’s chance it may have changed. Enjoy!

@@Finding-Fish The Coral Esmeralda has been top notch. The best rooms we’ve seen with our Caribbean adventures. The beach is beautiful, especially at low tide, you can walk for miles. I believe you are correct regarding procuring supplies. The more expensive resorts have fewer supply issues. Eggs are missing, but that’s it.
The guest services rep explained to me how it works. When they run out of their allocated supplies, a good procurement manager has contacts that they use to fill in the shortages.
Saw it first hand when they ran short of coffee … within hours, they found a temporary solution until the regular beans showed up.
The volume of fresh greens and vegetables has been a first for us.

@@tedshaughnessy2397 that's a new resort, right? I was so tempted to try it last time (Cayo Coco was the end decision). It looks so remote and peaceful.
@@Brandon12199 yes, the Iberostar Coral Esmeralda is the adult resort, and it opened in 2021. A few months later, the sister resort opened.
That would be the Iberostar Esmeralda. It’s a family resort, where the Coral is adults only. Designed to project a feel of an old coffee plantation, it’s small and elegant. We often stay at the Melia Cayo Coco, but this one takes it to another level in terms of luxury and modern amenities.
