Definitely the best air gun channel anywhere. Straight to the point, no gimmicks or bravado just real professional reviews and advise. If I’m looking for anything this is my “go to “ place. Heat shrink on the silencer is easy and very neat.
Mr. hijack was quite correct, though. This is THE airgun channel to follow. I have learned more about airguns from Andy than any other commentator. Friday mornings wouldn't be the same without Andy's weekly update - the welcome to the weekend 😃👌
Hi Andrew, as an American gun owner i just want to give you kudos for your presentation review of the Beretta 92fs pellet pistol several years ago. Because of your full info video it helped me decide on choosing the 92fs as my backyard target pistol. I feel it was a wise decision given the quality of the German made Beretta92fs. It is a great replica of the actual model. It has provided me with hours of fun shooting in the confines of my backyard. It does have a great feel to it when targeting those pesky tin cans. Also use old table saw blades as targets that produce a nice ring to it upon impact. Again Andy from across the pond, many thanks ,keep up the good work . Cheers🇺🇸
Your channel is far from boring, its very professional and informative! Keep up the great work Andy, some of us viewers do appreciate what you do!! 👍 👍 Pete 🇨🇦
maybe "boring" in the sense that there are no loud sound effects, no flashy bright colors, no quick jumpy edits every few seconds, and no other distracting nonsense. but if that's boring, then sign me up for a lifetime supply of it.
Yet another brilliant review..my wife bought me this same particular umarex set up about four years ago for Christmas..I've had stacks of fun out of it over the years and had some great fun with the fab red dot fitting it to various air pistols and rifles as well..thanks Andy your input is always greatly appreciated especially the tip of tapping the silencer is brill I wish I'd have thought of it before.. cheers mate keep up the great work..kind regards Dave 😁👍😁👍😁👍
I have a particular soft spot for the Beretta 92f also. My grandad owned a real 9mm before they banned handguns, and I had quite a lot of range time with it at 25m. He also had a S&W .38 special that chucked .357s down range, a Walther PPK, a Webley .22 WW2 officers revolver that broke open, a Llama .22 semi-auto that was nickel with a pearl grip and a few deringers. Those were some fun times! I may consider buying this now, especially with the Pard RDS in the kit, it could be used with a 45 degree canted pic rail on an air rifle for some multi environment pest control for inside farm buildings for example. Great review as always Andy, it always leaves me wanting more from yourself. A week is a long time to wait for the next one. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep 👍🏻ing the reviews as always.
15 or so years ago I added a 92FS to my collection. I never really got on with it. Even for a "lookalike" I found the trigger too heavy in double action, and whilst obviously better in single action, it also lacked feel. There was an annoying click when pulling the trigger too. In the end I sold it, but a couple of years ago I bought another, this time brand new as opposed to secondhand. My brain said it was too expensive for what it was, but I still had a 92FS itch to scratch, so added it to the pile, to find a heavier, and very gritty trigger and that same click as you pull the trigger too. The finish is ok, but not of the same quality of Umarex's of old. I still have it in the collection though. A good oiling session on the trigger mechanism and plenty of dry firing to "run in" said mechanism, which has helped, but with this, and other more recent Umarex models added to my collection, I don't find the quality is there anymore. They certainly aren't rubbish, well, ok, tthe Smith & Wesson Model 29 is, but not quite up to the standard of my Umarex Model 586 of around 2009. That all said, the price of this kit is very good. All that extra stuff and case for the same price! The so called silencer seems to be more of a sudo compensator, and with those holes allowing the sound to be diverted more towards you, no doubt is the reason for the ear ache 😁. Like the tape modification. Looks great. There is a plus point to the moderator/silencer. These type of pistols from Umarex are a little awkward to close the action on and very easy to put your fingers over the muzzle of a loaded pistol. With this one with all the accessories, you have no option to cover the muzzle when closing the action. However, the silencer means your hand is not directly infront of the muzzle, so becomes a nice safety feature.
I love mine! It's so accurate. I've never understood why they put on a "silencer" that makes it louder!? I take mine off, but now I will try the tape method. Thanks for the review and the top tape tip!
I have exactly that. As the owner of a real 92, back in the day when such was allowed, I can confirm the weight and balance of the non kitted version feels exactly how I remember it. I tend to use mine in the raw, which is a bit of a waste, but might have a go kitted with the tape hack. A bit more power would have been nice as, if you shoot the little steel silhouette figures they tend to head butt the pellets back at you.
Hey AAR I saw one of your reviews in the past and their was an air pistol with 3 safety’s on it, it was secure and safe as it will likely never happen but if my kids did get their hands on it they can’t hurt themselves. Thank you.
Got these accessories on my bb GBB version, ended up putting a working suppressor inside the supplied mock one and added a removable stock to the whole set up too.
Great review Andy. Your enjoyment of a good pistol is clear. As for the channel, ive only been into airguns for 18 months but its become a real passion and gives me great enjoyment. You and your channel have been my constant guide, and have significantly added to the many hours of pleasure its given me. Id love to shake your hand. My wife however wouldn't be a fan if she knew what you have 'made' me spend on guns and gear. Cheers.
Another great review Andy and the first one I bought to start the collection. I then added a little silencer adapter and mine now looks the part with an Atom silencer.
Best airgun reviews on TH-cam. Unfortunately, I can't buy half of the guns you review because I'm in America. Even worse, this gun was available in the US, but they've stopped selling it!
This Beretta 92 FS is a very good buy if can get for a decent price. You'll get so many nice accessories - plus a nice large case, which even is branded Beretta.👍🏻👍🏻 If not a fan of the accessories, you can just take them off. Unnecessary lettering on the side though might be annoying - as at least seen so on the slides of these XXtremes before..
@@simonnoble7589 Greetings! We're all good, thank you for asking. How you been? Yes. These Umarex 8-shot split slide pistols usually are very nice and good. Got the Walther CP88C, Colt Government 1911, a few CP99s and of course the Desert Eagle myself. All very nice pistols. The CP88C though being easily my #1 favorite of the non-blowbacks.. Been actually having a great day. Did a spare part for my Sig Virtus today - which I yesterday noticed to have a plastic tube cracking into pieces. Hoping now the new part ro be even better than the original. Will see that later today.. You too have a very awesome dayand weekend! 😊👍🏻
my next pistol purchase will be a rifled pellet shooter instead of the Glock BB shooter I started with :) Might not be this one , to be fair , but - it will be a rifled pellet thrower.

I've seen a review, where they measured the energy/speed of the Beretta 92 fs xx treem with and without moderator. They measured around 130 m/s with and around 110 m/s without moderator. They also said, that the grouping with moderator was better than witout. Does this also happen when "taping" the moderator? I can't imagine, that the guys from Umarex put a moderator in the box, that makes it louder but not better (more precise). As far as I understood, the moderator spreads the turbulent CO2 behind the pellet to the sides, thus stabilising it.
Great question, would be interesting to see an answer. I haven't seen the moderator in person, but looking at the video, I get the impression that it is more a a muzzle brake design rather than a moderator design.
In fact, the attachment in front of the actual barrel is not intended as a silencer, but as a compressor that diverts the excess CO² gases along the side of a funnel through the first four elongated recesses after the pellet has left the barrel, in order to reduce irritation of the now free-flying pellet. On the inside of the funnel, however, this then functions more as a sound amplifier for the noise, which is then clearly more audible through the other four double roundings on the side! Comparative measurements have shown that the group image of a row of shots with this compressor is considerably narrower than with the compressor completely removed, i.e. unscrewed! The action of taping off all the holes does indeed mean that the inner workings now function exactly like an actual silencer! I myself use a Wasp Mk.II on two of my air pistols, which has five such funnels on the inside, on the outside of which the sound is effectively killed! With the RP 5 from Umarex with cal. 22 pellets (5.5mm), which almost corresponds to the passage of the holes in the funnels, this results in an absolute unhearable damping of the shot noise (with a simultaneous minimal deterioration of the shot pattern though, at least with tin pellets) You only hear the hammer click and then the impact of the bullet in the target! With the second, a Diana Airbug, on which I use the same model, you can only hear a very slight, muffled “pudd”, but this has the caliber 177 (4.5mm), which is why the damping does not work perfectly in this case, but it is still very good. To return to the Beretta of this review - it seems to me that the shot pattern still has a similar quality as with the untaped compressor, despite the masking of the first four elongated discharge channels! Very interesting! You should do a comparison test with all three conditions (or even a fourth one, where only the double-rows in front are taped off, to kill at least the amplification of the funnel-shaped outlet), to see, which brings the best result of weight between shot-volume and accuracy, because the volume should already improve significantly with only masking the front-double-holes! Regarding the unsatisfactory trigger behavior - almost all pistols that use the cocking process of the hammer to keep the cylinder turning have this problem. I usually shoot the first 3 - 400 rounds without lubrication so that the mechanism can work itself in a little - if you then lubricate it in the trigger mechanism, it generally works much easier!
Re: the sound of the 'silencer' I think it was meant to emulate the sound of a real silenced pistol, in keeping with the stealth agent theme, not to actually be quieter right?
An EXELLENT review. Thanx. Whichever CO2 or "green gas" pellet fed pistol/revolver you use, stick to the lightest pellets you can find (try not to go over 0.5 grams).
Nice video, I love your posts and watch them as often as I can. I've got this gun without suppressor and optics. But, the gun is all the same. And yes, the grouping is really good. I love it. My Beretta didn't come with a sile... ahhm a suppressor and thus without inline threading I bought a kit that gave me the possibility to apply a suppressor. There are some on market and the one I chose works well. Now I can shoot this gun inside my home ;-) with one of the suppressors I already own. BTW, I added another additional kit to prevent damage to the snap-out parts (to load the mag). It is the guide rod and a spring (if I remember well). Some community members criticised, that the mechanical part will fail soon if the snap-out mechanism is used too often undamped.
sir, I ask you because perhaps you know how to help me, the new Berettas are painted differently compared to the old editions, this leads to a loss of color especially on the right side of the product, in my case the black version, by chance you know how to remedy this ? Do you know if it is possible to repaint with a special spray paint? let me know thanks
Mine developed a fault where the safety would seize and be almost unmovable. Then upon movement of the safety it would actually fire. Did get a couple years good plinking out of it first though.
Over the ports in the "moderator" to reduce the sound signature. Electrical tape is great, but you can get rolls of "vet wrap" which is a material type tape that sticks to itself and doesn't leave a residue when removed. So it can be re-used elsewhere if needs be? It comes in a wide variety of colours, some types even have various camo patterns, from desert to British DPM to black kryptek (or black python). The black kryptek would look epic wrapped around the can and would potentially reduce the sound signature even further due to its composition. A couple three wraps over it, and I should imagine you'd be pretty close to 0 dB?
Hi, I am located in the USA, and can’t find one of these here, do you know and stores over there that will ship to USA. Please advise. Thank you kindly.
another great review as always andy, i always look forward to these reviews, it makes me go straight to the dutch gunshops to find thenm and compare the price
Nice, but if I was in the market for a non-blowback pistol in this category, it would be the Umarex Walther CP88 Competition, in nickel with wood grips, largely for it's looks. I already have a PT-85 Tactical for red dot shenanigans.
great review as always, would love to see reviews of Reximex Meta and Kral Empire XS with a particular focus on the noise level of the integrated moderators 😁 Also the Artemis P15 would be great to round up the trio of budget bullpups
Sir, one piece of information that I would really value is the trigger pull weight. Sometimes you mention the trigger pull weight, but most often you do not. The trigger makes a huge difference when shooting a pistol and when the trigger is too stiff my hands will shake with the effort of firing. Please include the pull weight in all you reviews.
Hello Andy, I have two questions for you, 1 what will happen once the CO2 canisters are banned? 2 is it possible to get the red-dot sight without the pistol and if so, how much is it?
The red dot sight is terrible. If it’s shooting to the left you have to adjust it to the left to make it go right, if it’s shooting low you have to adjust it low to make it go high. I have to use mole grips to switch it on have now ordered a different one from Uttings
Great revue, serious on safety👍 like the humour and light-hearted approach. But you forgot to warn, that this gun will touch that tiny part of your brain, that brings out the "I want that" child that hides in there! Needless to say i bought one, It's just as it says in you revue, I'm smiling after every eight rounds😀😀😀
Andy, I’ve had one of these for a wee while now. Love the gun but the red dot sight is strange. If it is adjusted to the right it shoots left and if it’s adjusted up it shoots down. I read that some Chinese sights are like this. Is it a fault or is it the norm ?
Stewart I heard that this sometimes does happen with cheap Chinese made red dot sights. It’s a bugger trying to remember to do things back to front. Still a good gun though, and it’s very strange you never get a reply when you raise a concern of what is being reviewed .
I recently watched this channel, and there really is a lot of professionalism, very positive comments, the way the replicas are shown and how they are tested, greetings from Chile, South America; If I buy a replica this Christmas it will be thanks to your comments.
In my personal experience Umarex have not made anything decent since the 8 shot pellet pistols..they should really go back to it..all we get now is Chinese bb rubbish
Good job I am a pensioner or I would buy nearly every gun you review. Best gun review channel on TH-cam. Thanks

I've seen a review, where they measured the energy/speed of the Beretta 92 fs xx treem with and without moderator.
They measured around 130 m/s with and around 110 m/s without moderator.

Camo vet wrap around the can, less hassle.

I think that bit at the end was more of an idea as a comp for some reason instead of a suppressor.
another great review as always andy, i always look forward to these reviews, it makes me go straight to the dutch gunshops to find thenm and compare the price
Nice, but if I was in the market for a non-blowback pistol in this category, it would be the Umarex Walther CP88 Competition, in nickel with wood grips, largely for it's looks. I already have a PT-85 Tactical for red dot shenanigans.
Brilliant excellent information
great review as always, would love to see reviews of Reximex Meta and Kral Empire XS with a particular focus on the noise level of the integrated moderators 😁
Also the Artemis P15 would be great to round up the trio of budget bullpups
Sir, one piece of information that I would really value is the trigger pull weight. Sometimes you mention the trigger pull weight, but most often you do not. The trigger makes a huge difference when shooting a pistol and when the trigger is too stiff my hands will shake with the effort of firing. Please include the pull weight in all you reviews.
Could you please redo a Beretta PX4 review. Love your videos Andy. Thanks.
Hello Andy, I have two questions for you, 1 what will happen once the CO2 canisters are banned? 2 is it possible to get the red-dot sight without the pistol and if so, how much is it?
Why will they ban them?
The red dot sight is terrible. If it’s shooting to the left you have to adjust it to the left to make it go right, if it’s shooting low you have to adjust it low to make it go high. I have to use mole grips to switch it on have now ordered a different one from Uttings
Great revue, serious on safety👍 like the humour and light-hearted approach. But you forgot to warn, that this gun will touch that tiny part of your brain, that brings out the "I want that" child that hides in there! Needless to say i bought one, It's just as it says in you revue, I'm smiling after every eight rounds😀😀😀
Aka the Aliexpress special.
Aliexpress and Alibaba won't ship air weapons to the UK.
I've checked.
Good morning all .
Hi Andy,
Love your channel. Where did you get your accent? American subscriber.
Good review as always
Loudener

I agree with the F#%&in' bomb comment,,,,, you do a fine job Andy,,,, thank you
Tried a standard gamo pt85 doing 870fps for the first 3 shots. 14.12ftlbs 😕

Jest możliwość polskiego tłumaczenia...😢
Hi Andrew thanks for sharing another HONEST REVIEW sir. What a great looking pistol. Have a great weekend SIR 🇬🇧👍🏼
Beautiful
Nice looking kit
This is alot of tacticoolness in a single box!
Nice Video Andy 👍👍👍👍
Dissasembly video please
Andy, I’ve had one of these for a wee while now. Love the gun but the red dot sight is strange. If it is adjusted to the right it shoots left and if it’s adjusted up it shoots down. I read that some Chinese sights are like this. Is it a fault or is it the norm ?
Bought mine yesterday, and have the same problem with the sights, I thought I was cracking up
Stewart I heard that this sometimes does happen with cheap Chinese made red dot sights. It’s a bugger trying to remember to do things back to front. Still a good gun though, and it’s very strange you never get a reply when you raise a concern of what is being reviewed .
Another thing is I nearly have to use a set of mole grips to turn the red dot intensity not finger tips at all !
@@ian436 wow, at least I don’t have that problem, well not as yet
@@stewartsmith1497I’ve just ride to adjust it and it did require mole grips, the red dot sight is rubbish I will be buying a different one methinks
I have the cp 99 version Awesome
Andy - Did you mention the cost? I think my wife was speaking to me so my attention was elsewhere in fear of my life ;-)
Love it.🎉
Very Nice!
I recently watched this channel, and there really is a lot of professionalism, very positive comments, the way the replicas are shown and how they are tested, greetings from Chile, South America; If I buy a replica this Christmas it will be thanks to your comments.
Nice price; I guessed at around £350.
I Have one of them
Tacticool taken to the extreme lol
🙏🏻
Morning all
This one has a big can on it 🤫🤫😏
Look the part 👍👍🇬🇧
In my personal experience Umarex have not made anything decent since the 8 shot pellet pistols..they should really go back to it..all we get now is Chinese bb rubbish
