It's great that more states are allowing ORV's to be made street legal. My favorite thing about the Roxor is it's like getting a diesel powered 1940's / 50's era Jeep - no frills, no tech, no internet connection / subscriptions required to drive it. A person can leave it stock, or for peeps like you & me, build a personalized, nearly bomb proof machine for around $40k. I subbed, hoping to see a video doing some wheelin' where you need to use the lockers 🙂 When my 2022 street legal CFMoto Zforce 800 Trail is worn out, I will look into a Roxor with factory HVAC to start my build, and upgrade my Marlon ATV gear trailer to a mini camper 😁
@@J_Calvin_Hobbes good post I agree but if anyone has a 2wd Toyota pickup siting around you can get anywhere a modern “overlander” can and you can pick it up by the rear bumper and use it as a wheelbarrow if you have to.
This is slickest roxor I’ve seen so far. Nice build and nice work doing the upgrades yourself. I bet you’d easily be over $40k if not closer to $50k with labor on all that. 👍🏻👍🏻
I just bought a 23 rock store bare bones so I’m looking for a window and frame, I think I saw where you used a CJ five 1980 window frame and it worked perfect, I was hoping to do that. Also, just trying to make sure I didn’t buy something that’s not gonna work. I like your videos. Looks like you know what you’re doing so I might wanna put a lift on it later and I think you said go about the axels lift?? just trying to learn from somebody that knows what they’re doing cause I do not !!
@ can you hinge that window down onto the hood, I have been looking at JC Whitney and they have a lot of aftermarket parts a lot cheaper than diesel freaks, and all the other others
I didn’t buy the Roxor because it wasn’t even close to the capability of the Turbo S I bought . But damn what a bad ass machine. I want one in my garage.
1980 cj5 windshield on Amazon but I lowered roll cage 3 inches to fit right looks way better with jeep window then the roxor one and roll cage just right high
Got it on Amazon, it cost under $300 can't remember brand name, it was for a 1980 cj5, cut and welded 2 little tabs drilled some holes and bolted on,wasn't that bad, overall for cheaper bumper holding up good.
an ORV for 34K$... well... I had a JY few yeasr ago and by salvaging parts here and there, i manage to have a freaking good 4x4 for 1/10th of that price... going to trail(not being egntle) and being able to drive back home. 1989 YJ Sahara 4.2L carburated, with the 4.0L HO head, and of course many other goodies... it was a beast to say the least. I ended up spending around 3K in total for the entire setup(yes, i managed to find very good deal on many things). Considering todays price, instead of 3K, maybe it would be around 8K to 12K at most. Still... it's far from 34K... Hope you'll beat the crap out of it because for that price tag, it better be a tank.
Well it’s brand new and a turbo diesel. Built by the number one selling tractor company in the world. Same design as the wwII Jeeps. They’re pretty tough!
My only two questions going in is what does it cost to make it street legal and what does it cost for air conditioning? I live in Florida! Also, for that much money can't you just buy a nice Jeep?
Hey buddy, great video! I have a 22 being delivered Monday! Could you please send me a link to that bikini top? I’ve seen a lot of options out there but I like the look of one you have.
@@tomslife5630 hey man, don’t mean to be a bother, but really like that Cj7 top. How does it mount to the front. I saw the best top required a separate purchase of a windshield channel. Thank you for the help!
$21,500 wasn't too good either. I don't think these Roxors are gonna be around much longer if Mahindra wants to over-charge and under-deliver. And the all-weather is almost $30k. Insane.
@@Croiseeman i mean they won't keep selling new models. These became popular very quickly because of the price. The msrp started at $15.5k and dealers were selling them for $13k. Now they are 8k more and the street legal version is way way overpriced.

Sorry my bad, can't put a cost on fun memories, that's what I told my wife working so far, but just got a another used roxor don't know how she's going to take it.
Hey man, the winch is rated at the wrap closest to the drum. The pulling power drops considerably with each wrap after that. Also, that is assuming you are in neutral on a hard, flat surface. As soon as you get into any mud, snow, or pulling uphill, the load on the winch and ripe go up substantially. Just don't wanna see you get hurt or killed due to a failure. It happens to people every year when they underestimate the load forces on recovery equipment.
