Generally, Americans enjoy trading compliments,
보편적으로 미국 사람들은 칭찬을 주고 받는 것을 좋아합니다
and sometimes compliments are used as greetings, thanking, and a way to start small talk.
그리고 칭찬이 어떨 때는 인사로, 감사표현으로, 스몰 톡을 시작하는 방법으로 사용되기도 합니다.
