5:45 Nathan (Freddie's Actor) was initially shorter than Miranda Cosgrove during the first season of the show and was given a pair of very large platform shoes to make up the height difference between himself and Miranda lol

It’s funny how Austin Butler portrays a person who can’t sing in this show, and many years later he goes on to play Elvis Presley in the recent Elvis film.

Yakima is a real city, it is in Eastern Washington (the Cascade Mountain Range splits the state into Western and Eastern) The show is set in Seattle, Washington which is about 90ish minutes from Yakima. Some call Yakima "Crackima" because there is a big drug issue in the area. I have lived in Washington all my life.

I agree with you. I've always been of the opinion that if you don't know what happened on scene then it's harder to fully understand what happened behind the scenes because they are interconnected.
The theme song is very classic. This tv series is my favorite. And Nevel really is a menace to Carly and to her friends.

I realized that some episodes are out of order, for example in the “I Dream of Dance” episode from the last video Sam was smashing Gibby’s locker open with a hammer until she realized her locker was actually next to Gibby’s (which is 2 lockers down from Carly’s). Sam had just gotten that locker in the “I like Jake” episode from this video, when Sam had just revealed to Carly that she switched locker’s and made Freddie take hers. The reason for this is that the episodes were aired out of order instead of production order which is why the episode order is so confusing, the more you know 😂😂.
Fun fact: Freddy's actor was pretty shot and they wanted him to be as tall as the rest of the cast. So they had him wear platform shoes to look taller.
How tall was he in feet and inches?
@@1superstar817 considering Miranda Cosgrove's Height 5ft 4 ¼ and he needed them to be tall as them. 5ft to 5ft 2. they and a growth sport to 5ft 7 so who knows.
I never noticed Nathan Kress wearing those shoes in every episode of Season 1 until after a couple of rewatches. Good thing he grew up since then.
When Sam put coffee down Spencer's breathing tube, he had the breathing tube up his nose while the food and drink tube was in his mouth so Sam put coffee up Spencer's nose which is why he had that reaction.

Next to Freddie, Nevel is one of my favorite characters on iCarly. Cause despite that he’s the villain and a smart one at that, at least he has a reason for being evil and to be honest, we glorify villains anyway, no matter how malicious they are.

I really hope no one ruins this reaction series with spoilers or breaking the rule/disclaimer. Every time I try to watch a reaction series to iCarly, I end up not watching it because they cut out SO MUCH. It basically feels like a review and not a reaction. Lol
I'm so excited to watch you on this journey! I feel like I should mention that, for some reason, the release order is different than the production order. This causes some continuity errors, like Sam having her locker next Carly's in almost every episode, except in the Jake episode she switched lockers with Freddie to be next to Carly. This is because it was the second episode to be produced, but for some reason it was released as episode 4.

What are you expecting? An entire episode on TH-cam for free? They have to avoid copyright and include other forms of audio to make up for the video. That’s why Patreon exists because they offer full uncut reactions :)

It seems like including slightly under half of a video is acceptable under fair use for reactions, commentary, and criticism (not a concrete rule, just an observation from the countless reaction videos I've seen), so generally I like to see reactions to about half of the video. Not like 2-4 minutes of a 20 minute video. At that point its basically just a review since there is so little actual reaction. Hope that clears up your confusion! :)
