That little girl is as cute as a speckled caterpillar😂❤
I would be totally there if it wasn't $125!!! C'mon Matt
@@glbaker5595 creep alert
The Jake first person perspective bit was awesome! Please make this a thing in future videos!
Do you want to sell the factory rock slider from the gladiator
Just have to say, whoever is editing these things is really killing it lately!
The right number of obscure pop culture references and weird Matt-isms per minute every time.
No manufactured drama or conflict. Everybody seems happy.
Top notch production value for your TH-cam enjoyment.
Better than anything on A&E, Discovery or The History Channel for sure!
I spent most of my time fast forwarding as I came to see a project not a bunch of crap. Getting tired of Matt's videos. EOM
That editor was so happy when he was given that popcorn 😂😂
tbf, the whole point of well-made manufactured drama or conflict is that you dont even realize the extent it was adjusted for the audience. it's similar in that way to marketing and advertising.
I was also impressed. Which Terminator model was that molten metal dude?!
Indeed.
Glad to see Ed is still up and around.
Arnold was a T-800, Robert Patrick played the a T-1000 which is the liquid metal Terminator.
Needing a wood drill disguised as a liquid drill to do a metal drill's work.....futuristic magic!
Robert Patrick is the best part of almost anything he’s in. He knows how to control a scene without having to say a word.
Arnold was the cyberdine model 101
@@shockershooterhe was great in the Unit.
@@damionsherk17 technically speaking yes. The 101 was the designation for the external skin job. The frame and actual terminator was the T-800.
That big orange rotating light that someone sent you guys for the wrecker, should go on the Bombee!!!
ooh +1. Like its a little vehicle. But it packs the punch like a bee with the v8 &all the work going on. The big light helps get the point across that its a scrappy little beast.
Jonah! Tell them to replace the bolts with clevis pins where the steering levers connect to the brake master cylinders. The threads on the bolts are going to tear up the inside of those components and cause them to be loose later on. Don't tell them you read it in the comments. Just tell them you noticed that when you were editing. 👍😁 Keep up the great work!
I noticed that too. Definitely should use clevis pins there.
Absolutely.
2nded clevis verse bolts.
Or longer bolts with the threads cut off except for enough for a lock nut on the outside.
So many of you gentlemen are building your new larger "shops" right now. Yay! I love your vids! I liked the penguin joke. I also really enjoy reading all the comments. They're all so kind and respectful, leaving me in a positive frame of mind. Thanks everybody.
I've never seen a "Ship Auger Bit" used for drilling through cast aluminum. lolol. Nice! 😄
Jake always seems like such a good guy. The moment when he surprised Jonah with popcorn was so heartwarming ❤
Colby wondering where his popcorn was at.
I felt bad for Colby, he looked so hurt, LOL
@@crystalcummins913you know Jonah shared come on! 😂
Im just wondering if the lack of snow this year in many areas is because of these awesome recovery teams not having their snow cats ready? Thanks teams 😂😂
When Matt came up holding what appeared to be a wood auger bit, my first thought was “ ok, what new tool am I fixing to see, and just have to go buy for myself?” But, as shown, if you go slowly, using a wood auger bit on aluminum could be doable….as long as you get the drill anchored and keep the speed down. But, having hit a nail with one, I was still waiting to see if it was gonna bite in and twist his wrist. 😜
My heart broke a little watching the wood auger get abused.
I'm a parts guy for Napa and I've had a guy say "Love you, Bye!" to me before hanging up 😂
Was it Tom? Lol
But car people love a good parts guy.
Can't beat a good parts guy! If you are busy enough they become like family.
Tomtom obviously is a good man because "as a man thinks- he becomes that.” And "from what’s inside of the heart, the mouth speaks”. (Paraphrased).
@@thomasbordelon4149 absolutely!
That K&N should great for winter operations because you’ll be operating in the snow with very little dirt to filter out!
Holley Laser gas gauge is what the Bombee needs! Fits any gas tank, no float needed Tom!!!
Or one for every vehicle in the fleet 😂
Will it plug into the stock gauges?
Dang I didn't know those were a thing but it makes sense as an easy way to read a level.
@@dzzope hahaha, let's start with one. Gotta ease Matt into it 😂😂😂
@@dzzopeProb needs to have the vehicle already running a Holley computer because any fuel level sending unit will need to be configured for the exact vehicle it's on so it knows where min/max are
@@Onewheelordeal the Bombee has Holley electronics! I saw the screen they are using, same and B is for Build and their boat!
It's good to see the Bombi coming right along and closer to hitting the snow covered mountains for rescues! This episode was really good, full of humor and overall 'goodness'! The whole team is doing such a great job!
It's so nice to see Ed in the shop, even helping to push the Bombi back into the bay!
That rig went from looking like someone’s backyard project to absolutely sick (in a good way)! I love the wider treads
The messages from Robbie on the back of the Bombi at 11:16 are hilarious. "Unforgivable" for one, "I forgive you" for the other.
The "I love you" part is super funny, cause a few of my buddies and I had the same conversation last night.
Make them side shooting pipes so they kind of go out left and right at a slight downward angle that also helps for water accidentally entered into the exhaust system
I agree!
Agreed, 'cause you know you're gunna back into a snow covered tree.
Matt, a couple of tailpipes that look similar to a Corvair Corsa Turbo tailpipe will allow you to shoot the exhaust to the sides.
The note from Robby saying " I forgive you" on the dent made by the engine install is hilarious.
They have so many things on their slate it probably is why they didn't just drape a moving blanket over the back to prevent scrapes.
I believe the top scratch says that one is unforgivable.
Robbie is a pacifist, he should have kicked their but on a live feed.. Parts were not properly fitted prior to paint. it should have been a bolt on only only scenario..
You need new spectacles, it says "unforgivable, Robby"
@@Crewsyit does! Which makes it even funnier
Bombi is looking Terrific!
Kaulin, try remembering to bend the end of the tig welding rod so it doesn't poke anyone in the eye ;) Also let's you hang it somewhere when you didn't use up the whole rod.
That Bombi looks amazing. And that's even before the bed is on . One of a kind !
Love it when Katelynn throws shade at Matt “the gas gauge doesn’t work” 😎
When the muffler faces straight back it adds thrust! MOHR Speed! 😂
As an electrician who uses those long auger bits quite often, I am absolutely blown away that you just drilled through steel with that. I have almost snapped my wrist several times simply hitting a nail going through a stud.
That was an aluminum bracket, but it was still a surprising result.
Yea I guess you’re right. Not necessarily a good characterization to call that steel lol. I guess I wasn’t thinking. Yet they do call those bits “nail eaters”. Although they absolutely aren’t. You hit one it destroys that 35 dollar bit. Not sure why I didn’t think of it being aluminum though.
I also have something that sticks out of my wrist from hitting nails with those
I’ve many many hours boring holes through floor joists and wall studs with auger bits. I’m guessing that bit might be ruined now.
My mind was screaming. WOOD BIT!!!
This was one of the best videos...Great editing, hilarious Matt rapping...
Bombi looks extraordinary.
The "hand" fetching hose clamps and popcorn and delivering it was such an awesome move!!! Fantastic fantastic video as always!
They left Jefe hanging though...
pretty good at being gophers.
Love Shop Days as much as Recovery Days ! ... I also want to give a Shout Out to the Video Crew, I am really enjoying the pacing and humor. The Snow Cat looks AMAZING ! ... oh and one more thing .... TOM REMEBERED THE FERRALS while Flaring, someone needs to give him some Popcorn ! ! Thanks for letting us Watch 🚙❤👍
I just learned some new technical jargon .... "half a wrinkle"! I'm pretty sure that NASA is going to want to adopt that when calibrating the next spaceship. 🛰🚀Sooooo nice to see the Bombi rolling off the MORR manufacturing line👍🏻 Take care MORR crew✌🏻🚙🚙
Oh yeah possibly a permanent front dash cam along with a rear for safety
I’m sure heated seats would be a nice option & I’m being serious you guys you may as well just fully deck that Awesome piece of machinery out!❤
LoL. I love the POV hand 1:53
PS using the hole-hawg bit on aluminum nearly broke me...
The Bombi is taking shape and is almost completed.
Matt? When you asked; "Where's my bucket of bolts", I instinctively answered quietly; "Out in my driveway". Ref. my 2012 JK Wrangler 2 dr. After watching so many of your videos I 've decided to cut a hole for a trap door in the floor of my Jeep over the gas tank's fuel sensor and pick-up so as to access that appliance to service the Evap. system's soft and plastic connections. That thing keeps me busy trying to keep that engine trouble light from coming on about ever 3-5 months. I hate dropping the tank all the time. I'm in Peoria Arizona. Lived here in this desert since I was 10. I'm now 79 and retired firefighter/arson investigator from Phoenix F.D. I've owned no pick-up truck that wasn't a 4X4 since 1969. 1965 Jeep Gladiator, 1976 Chevy half ton short bed, 1978 Ford Bronco, 1986 Dodge 3/4 T. 4 spd., 2001 Dodge 3/4 T. Cummins (Still have this one) and the 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I love it when I hear some young man tell me his 4X4 will go anywhere and he's never been stuck. Before My F.D. years I worked for Empire Machinery Caterpillar dealership here in AZ. I saw a CAT 988 front end loader and D-8 @ D-9 dozers brought in that had been stuck in deep mud. Both got caught in a dry wash just outside of Kingman Az. when a flash flood came along that weekend. (Summer of 1967 Tumbled them both side over side down that wash. Water weights 8.5 pounds per gallon. When moving rapidly (1,000's of gallons) in large amounts it is an unstoppable force. Keep up your work. I absolutely love it. In my mind, I'm right there with you. Sometimes getting blue lips from holding my breath. Sometimes when you or one of your guys crawl under something that is being held by cables or straps.
Bombi now looks the business! It was quite strange seeing it on just 4 wheels in Robby's workshop. It made one wonder if it were a serious piece of kit or not and capable of anything at all. How looks can be deceiving! Just putting the cog wheels on made it look so different. I am very impressed as to how well it looks, but I am more impressed by the wonderful jovial atmosphere in your workshop. What a pleasant place to work! I can't wait to see Bombi in action. It's a pity that many of us are experiencing such a mild winter this year with little snow. Same here in Japan. Tons of snow for a few days in some limited areas and much, much less in areas that should be deep in snow throughout January and February.
Colby is a great team member.
His floating hand was hilarious
“You brought me popcorn”. In the back, Colby with his hands out- “what about me????”
I personally can't wait to see the Bombie out there working 😊. Very interesting 😎 content guys 😁.
Kudos to the editors for making these videos so watchable
I also like Colby asking questions at key moments to get useful answers from whoever for us watching.
I'm in love with Katelyn. Her energy is so addictive. The whole team is great. They seem like people I would like to work with.
If the tubing for the brake levers inside the cab are 1" OD, Harley Davidson handlebar grips will fit perfectly . Tons of styles available as well as heated . Just sayin'.
I love Jonah. Every time he’s on camera it’s great
They say if you ride by the shop and listen very Intently that you can hear Matt still inside tapping on that coconut with that ball-ping hammer😂😂😂😂😂
For future knowledge, that's a "ball peen" hammer. If you ever come across a coconut, you'll know what to use to open it! Never a claw hammer, always a ball peen.
Cool !! : ) ... I have worked one one of these !! Extra heater for the neighbors wife and the euro Ford starter is prone to freezing with blowing snow. Way cool and capable machine ... the stick shift version has a backwards pattern with the engine being in the back ... real easy to balance out the the brake levers = they will never be perfect !! Have Fun with that!!!
Love to see Ed he's really getting up there awesome may God bless him over and over
A few yeaes ago I needed a remote heater in a car, so ordered a drill bit online. It was the next size bigger than what you used. This fall I needed to drill access holes inside a trunk to mount a spoiler and it worked great! Never know which tools you'll need.
Kolby's reaction when he didnt get any popcorn, priceless ahah
The exhaust has the perfect amount of tubing sticking out the back!
I also used to have a Tom Tom....it always told me to turn either left or right 200 yards after where I was supposed to turn left or right....😂.... that was many years ago when they first came out....then I stuck to a good old trustworthy paper map book...😁👍
When the Bombi is finished we need side by side photos of the old bombi versus the new
Bombi
Tom Tom’s deadpan, “That’s a lot of fiber,” when Matt was husking the coconut, was hilarious!
Ed continues to be the top weatherman
I think it's time for another epic recovery. How many people here have watched the Golden Nugget recovery more than once? I've watched the whole thing 3 times. The Bombi is looking great, with winter in full swing maybe a snow recovery.
Glad to see heat shields are part of the build! Lessons learned from WLW no doubt. Newer Subaru have a thin aluminum tube in two halves that bolt onto header tube/ collectors. Hammering some from 3003 .030 thick, or that dimpled sheet would work. So awesome seeing it come to life, can't wait to see it in the wild.
I love it when a plan/project comes together around the MORR TEAM! Thanks for sharing it guys!❤
It's looking amazing. Can't wait to see it out in the wild doing Bombi things.
I would do the exhaust down and to the outside. Also cannot wait for initial 2-3 trips where you say "oh, we forgot to tighten X". -)
Bombi looks awesome
I'm so invested in the bombi build , every time you post I watch immediately but when I see Bombi videos I get especially hyped🤘 keep up the great work MORR team
Hey guys excellent job and don’t worry about the mufflers just put in on to the top like 18weller so n the sides pointing to the top 🎉🎉🎉
HEY! Goooood morning everyone and thumbs UP to Matt and crew! 👊
TH-cam biz must be good! New shop for Matt and Fabrats. Glad to see it!
It looks great,nice job.
The Bombie is looking great!!
You could bend the exhaust tips down on outward, then it's away from the person hooking up
I gotta admit I was starting to get a little bored with the Bombi but now I’m hyped again, just need to hear it run now!❤
T-1000 was the Liquid Terminator. Arnold was a T-800.
You need to add an idler to that belt right above where the power steering pump used to sit. If you don't, the belt WILL jump off at high rpm.
So Fun congratulations!!!! Editing was very good, music, Christopher Waulking spot was funny especially after Super Bowl. Your all the Best!!!
I think a torsen differential would work good for the bombi when driving straight it would help not need steering inputs but still allow turning when using turning brakes
Classic Matt shenanigans, drinking from a coconut with a brake line!
Well at least Bombi should be ready for next winter. LOL
I love bombi episodes, its my favorite vehicle of the stable. I wish I had the time and skill and money to build my own. And also a place to use it once built - I have none of those things but its cool to dream!
Those flight cookies are fire
Pivot points should never be on a thread...you would use shouldered bolts. Absolutely love this build.
One of the goofiest MORR videos yet 😂 Never change!
1:51 This sequence reminds me of the original Doom games. Awesome.
Looking good. Battery appears very close to the fuel cap.
Ensure you have adequate protection. Wouldn’t want fire to be an issue
There's nothing wrong with telling people that you love them! ❤ And poor Colby left out from getting a delivery from Jake. 😮
The smiles tell the whole story!!!
That thing is so cool !! Awesome job , I LOVE YOU ALL !!!!!!
Bravo to the video editors.
High temperature manifold wrap would do wonders for protection of the electronics near the hot pipes. ❤
Love seeing weatherman Ed! 😎✌
I've been using Flowmaster HP2s on everything for years and I'm always amazed at how freaking awesome they make everything sound. I recommend them to anyone doing a custom exhaust
It's going to be ready just in time for Spring. 😁
I think Kaulen can use the same color match paint pen that Robbie used to “hide” the scratches on the back of the cab. 😉
Matt not trying to tell you how to build your machine but a suggestion for the tailpipe on the bombi. Turn it straight up and then put a flapper cap like for a tractor on it so it’s not blowing in your face but also can’t get rain inside of it
Kaulin has found his niche. He likes to tig weld and is good at it and also decorating dash plates. Finally got the tracks on Bombi. Next to fire it up and see it move on its own power!
Winter will be over when you finish this thing.
Good luck in the freedom 500 Matt. Would love to see you bring that chopper home man.
Remember MORR crew - Adverbs are your friends.
When in doubt buy em out and keep the extra parts like a good hoarder
That’s funny, Matt has his video editors locked in a windowless room and occasionally feeds them snacks to keep them going 😂
Looks like you'll have it finished just in time for summer
Colby was chapped he didn’t get any popcorn 😂
Bombi is looking good!!
Tom just has lots of love to give to everyone ❤
Your new building going up fast matt
