I was boarding a ferry while towing my 19' travel trailer. At the bottom of the ramp the back of the trailer hit, and before I fully recognized what was happening, cracked the drain mast for the sewage tank. Fortunately I'd just drained it, but I left a trail down the length of the ferry deck. The next year (after $2000 repairs) I lifted the trailer about 4". No more dragging!

Excellent recoveries guys!! The ol' Banana is doing a fine job! Ground clearance is of extreme importance in those rocks. As always, you handled it like a pro!!
Oh I can answer this one! Despite what the name might suggest, it's not named for an abundance of rattlesnakes. In fact, there aren't any rattlesnakes there at all. The trail got its name for a completely different reason. It's said that the trail is as twisting and unpredictable as a rattlesnake's movement. This trail, with its sudden turns and unexpected dips, can really keep a 4x4 enthusiast on their toes, much like a wary hiker watching for snakes. But there's more to it than just the trail's winding nature. The name also pays homage to a local legend, a 4x4 trailblazer known for his unpredictable driving style, who they nicknamed "Rattlesnake." He was famous for his ability to navigate the most challenging terrains with a surprising and often unconventional approach. His runs on this trail were legendary, making the Rattlesnake trail a rite of passage for many in the off-roading community. It's become a symbol of embracing the unexpected, of turning challenges into adventures. This brings to mind another legendary twist that happened not on a trail, but in a wrestling ring. But please do not let this backstory distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and he plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table. Like the unpredictable turns of the Rattlesnake trail, this iconic moment in WWE history reminds us that sometimes, life can take sudden, dramatic turns, leaving a lasting impact on those who witness it.

As a chubby mechanic, I definitely get it. I was on a road call last night for 5 tires on 5 units on the side of the interstate, part of a trailer fell off another companies equipment and took out a bunch of trucks tires. ~30°F out and just pants and my work shirt with a T underneath. This UTV shows why it's good for offroad vehicles to carry a jack. I have an American car jack circa 1970s for my desert race buggy and my Baja Bug, and a high lift for my prerun Toyota. There are pumps designed to set pressures on air shocks for mountain biking which I suspect would work well for on-the-road adjustments in your Jeep. Mine is of the brand Specialized and has both a dial gauge and bleed valve.
I'm a little late to the party but when I did rear pulls like this I would get as close as I could to the vehicle, hook the winch on and attempt to get direct lift. That way you try to limit the chance of a hard scraping. It takes a little more time and slower to start but less risk, Drive fast, take chances

"Why do off-roaders dread, with a shake of the head, the hippopotamus rock that's ahead? Because no matter the truck, they all get stuck, and spend the night there instead!"
what do you get when you cross an elephant and a rhino? elephino!! 🤷
9.3? Brown noser! 😂That was a fail from the beginning. He shoulda listened to Tom and stayed in. Love the way Matt rolls with things. Inspires me to stay calmer.
It was definitely only a 7
Almost 11% of a comedy team. Great as always!
Hey I've been following/subscribed to the channel for awhile now, really like the content. As long as your making vids I'll be looking forward to them. And I want to shout out the editors, really appreciate the movie references and pop culture throw backs they slip in seamlessly and the production quality of the finished product on top of that is amazing, their hard work shows and this episode in particular, the random "Princess Bride" scene with Andre was terrific! Keep doing what your doing guys!
Wrecker would have come in handy for the camper.👍
I was thinking that too . Just to get it off that poop tank valve. I put up a little story about the one time I saw it .
I imagine it was too last minute to load up the wrecker. Either that or Matt just decided he wanted to take the banana
I think he got the call while already out for the first recovery; he didn't seem to mention it until a fair bit of the way in. Probably didn't want to make an extra trip if he didn't need to.

Dude is just running the Utah version of running out of gas in the woods.
"Well ladies, seems we are stuck here for the night. I have some cards, poker anyone?"
“Poker? I barely know her”
He's gunna have a great night alright, 1 guy, 2 girls, 1 small van, go on son! 🎉
second recovery he wont get cold by look of it 😅
Oh no...we're stuck...whatever will we do? Well, girls, I guess we'll just have to wait it out until morning. Staying warm until then is our first priority.😁
Of course he's gonna go back he's got 2 young ladies with them man's on the mission
So that’s what dudes do on their mission?
What a great crew ! I wish I had the same reliable people on my side on a Saturday’s job ! 😊
The flinch when the first customer slapped Matt, rofl
The Teddy Bear effect
You calling him a Jerk? 😜
I enjoy puns way too much.
Everything is scarier after dark.
a lot of people don't like to be touched. I personally hate it and most folks who do it tend to be the "Don't be so sensitive!" type of a-hole.
Pretty normal for this personality type. They're just not great at physical contact, and especially PDA. But it is weird, since that guy was obviously not a threat.
The twister to the falls and out to the gun range is one of the best loops in southern Utah.
Good morning MORR crew!!!
There are pumps designed to set pressures on air shocks for mountain biking which I suspect would work well for on-the-road adjustments in your Jeep. Mine is of the brand Specialized and has both a dial gauge and bleed valve.
Awesome job Matt and Team.
I'm a little late to the party but when I did rear pulls like this I would get as close as I could to the vehicle, hook the winch on and attempt to get direct lift. That way you try to limit the chance of a hard scraping. It takes a little more time and slower to start but less risk, Drive fast, take chances
I give him a 9.8 haha extra half point for the wet sock 🤣
What a lucky guy , 2 girls & 1 guy in a stuck rv in the woods ... good tymez !
One guy and two cute young girls? Bow Chicka Bow Wow Wow. I know what they were heading out to do...
Matt and Tom have a good bond. They always seem like they will be able to tolerate each other like family.
I’m always amazed how many people venture off into difficult places and don’t have even a basic hand winch.
RV guy had two wenches
And do it at night!

I wouldn't mind getting stuck out there with those 2 women. I probably would wait to make the call. 👍
I only realized now you guys started using metric aswell when mentioning the temperature 🎉 thanks so much for the cool content over time, big fan of the night recoveries
The hippopotamus and the bottomamus 😂
What you want is a mountain bike shock/fork pump for adjustment on the fly 🤘
It's a least 11% better than nuthin
Matt loves to take the challenges, be it a job others won't take, or a line only a competent madman would take.
Get them out !! I love to watch your videos ! I LOVE YOU ALL !!!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
charge em double lmao tom is funny
Jerk!😜
Matt is very fortunate to have Tom Tom.
Great Rescue Combo.
Nice work guys
I can’t believe the trust people put in those glorified 4-wheelers…it amazes me that they actually think they are true rock crawlers. Keeps Matt and Rory in the recovery business!!! 👍👍
Two flawless rescues along with Matt and Tom's bantering.
The biggest POS RV ive ever Seen AKA Freak Wagon! With 2x4's and tin as Siding was Hilarious! So Hard up they turned around and went back in to go Shag...
He's a lucky man with 2 babes and 1 camper.
watching your temps make me feel warm on a cold night in south Australia 😅
"Wrecked 'em? Shoot, dang near killed 'em"
Buddy out in the dessert with two beautiful girls. Living his best life.
Morning Matt’s off road thanks for the video
I was waiting for the deer graphic 😂
Camper dude having a fun time with two young ladies
Tom Tom, you look soo much younger without the beard.
Dismount: 9.2
I love the editing on this video
For night videos, Casey Ladelle uses some battery operated flood lights he says are really good. They were good for night video, but also for being able to see easily for the recovery as well.
There are lots of rattlesnakes in southern Utah. Fortunately they are non-aggressive - really pretty passive. You’ve gotta watch for them under rocks, though.
