    Great tutorial. You can also test the resistance and microhenries of the inductors with the esr meter. The reactance formula is 2𝛑FL. That would be 2 x 3.14 x frequency of esr meter which is 100kHz x 100uH Just plug it in.
    R=0.628 X L(uH)
    L(uH)=R(ohms)/0.628

    houston , we have yanmis
    i got mine to no day , from the amazon forest . i see you get your bats from them as well .
    i have few items to possible repair , just randomly looking at videos get idea on how to use the device and build up some motivation
    1:19 it got me as well , thinking i need 9v bat , i have bundles of 1.5v

    Is this one better than the Peak in circuit cap tester ?

      Nope, I wish I would have just ordered the Peak or Blue ESR meter because of their better build and longer leads. The leads compatible with the MESR-100 are about six inches long making it difficult to use on circuit boards. You can try longer leads but I've not found anything that would calibrate (zero) properly.

      peak esrs are better.it measures capacitance. and more user friendly... but it also costs £80... where this chinese one costs just £30...and it works really well too!

    So does it measure ESR?
