You Won't Believe What China Is Doing In Ghana! 🇨🇳🇬🇭 (

  • As a foreigner who lived in China for many years, I'm always happy (and a bit curious) to find the different Chinese communities now spread across Africa. Contrary to a lot of news reports about debt traps and other issues, China's influence in Ghana has been mostly positive. In fact, Ghana has one of the oldest and largest Chinese communities in all of Africa. But of course, there's always more to the story..
After a tour of the local Chinatown, I decided to finally visit the palace of the king of the Ashanti. I was hoping to get a glimpse of his golden stool (the chair, not the...nevermind), but would I be so lucky?

There was a Chinese restaurant in Lagos, Nigeria, I think about 4 or 5 years ago. Nigerians could only buy take out. They weren't allowed to dine in. And they were okay with it until a woman went there with her family and insisted on dining in. She videoed the entire encounter and posted it on social media. The Lagos State government saw the post and shut the Chinese restaurant down.

The CCP is easily the most corrupting force in Africa on a broad scale and it’s truly frightening how much influence they have over rare earth mineral extraction among other industry in Africa. Hopefully a silver lining is at least they might be able to raise some out of poverty but since they are mainly bringing in Chinese workers to do the ongoing infrastructure builds, and also Chinese resource extracting companies, I doubt that.
People love to criticize the US and Europe for colonialism but are literally silent when it comes to China doing it today through economic influence, predatory loans to nations with vital infrastructure and land as collateral, and straight up the worst corruption in the world.

How are there poor Americans who struggle to pay rent? The petrodollar and corporate welfarism has done nothing for the American people and centralized banking helps support this terrorism. Ghana is poor so it makes sense there is poor there, America is filthy disgustingly rich and yet there's poor, makes absolutely no sense except that the last of the Americans aren't properly exercising their second amendment right and watering the Tree of Liberty.
