- We travel to New York City in search of a 50 year old mobster car dumped in the East River with a possible body inside linked to notorious mobster Roy DeMeo. We began our search at the Liberty Park boat ramp in New Jersey and quickly discovered a stolen car underwater and reported it to the police. I grew up on long Island.
I'm from Brooklyn, New York. My Great Grandfather was an associate to Carlo Gambino, my Great Grandfather was actually Carlo's tailor and worked in the Garment District. Believe me when I tell you, there's a lot more bodies and cars relating to Organized Crime in the Water and in the Brooklyn dump.
Cat litter is used to soak up gas or oil spills. As well as many other uses besides cat use :-)
This is great. I watch Candice and Jeremy doing their sit down live before I go to bed and then I wake up to find Adam and Jeremy waiting for me to watch. Best of both worlds. Nice job guys. You must have caught NYPD on a good day. They don't appear to be that nice according to some of the audit videos I watch. Good luck in your search. Be safe.
Except it wasn't the NYPD at all that attended the scene, it was the Jersey City PD and NJ State Park Police.

I lived in the Newark Jersey City area for over 30 years. We are known as the car theft in carjacking capital of the world. If you travel a few miles south from there to an area called the Arthur kill which separates Elizabeth and Staten Island I'm sure you would find dozens and dozens of vehicles and hundreds of firearms. I know this for certain. You guys do great work and I really enjoy your content. Be safe and God bless

Hey guys you were in my state! I grew up about 15 minutes from there. That part of Jersey we refer to as North Jersey. That area is definitely more city like. Where you guys were in the water is called brackish water. It’s were freshwater and saltwater meet. And while there have been sightings of sharks there it’s very rare. I live down south Jersey now and I sure hope you got to see that area. We’ve got some beautiful beaches down here. But there are sharks in that water as it’s the ocean. If your ever back this way and have a down time day try and visit Long Beach Island. Absolute must see beach. I hope they came back and pulled that car. It looked like they were going to follow through. Thanks for all you do and be safe.

When you call dispatch it's important not to use generic terms like it's been there a minute lol. Make it realllly clear it has been down there for weeks or months or years and did not just occur. I worked with a 7 city dispatch center in California and details like that are huge! Great vehicle find - congrats!!!

You were in my neck of the woods. A lot of mob in Liberty, Kansas City, and Des Moines Iowa, over to Chicago. Many state highways weave around the interstate highways. So, too much on the interstate, pop off onto a state highway, then back to the interstate. Back in the early '80's, quite the fight between the gangs and the mob.

Hey, help them out so they can have the things they need to be finding lost people. They need all the support they can get. They’re just living paycheck to paycheck like the rest of us, they need support , thumbs up , a share and someone with deep pockets that supports their movement.. is that you sir Earl? Ok…first of all, you guys need to get a cover on that boat so when it rains, the boat doesn’t fill up and possibly short circuit your electronics.
Secondly, have you guys considered taking out your own liability insurance, so that way, you can say oh we have our own insurance? That way, you can show proof that you’re covered. Plus also, some agencies will have to come up with a different reason why they do t want you diving to assist in the recovery. OR you need to carry a liability waiver that you can sign and present to the agencies stating that you excuse them of any and all liability. Just a thought.
Also, the police were really professional and that’s always a bonus! Stay safe guys!!
Some dive team had a small camera they could put down when they found a car, you dont have one? Easy to check a car whitout diving
