Haha , luckily I read the comments, I am a fan of skirt hangers too even to hang some cookbooks while the kids follow a recipe. Mostly I drape my silicone sheet liners over a cake cooling rack on the sink then flip it to make sure both sides are dry. Those baguettes are making my mouth water. Yummo. Thanks for sharing honey 💙
All your Zucchini Bread making inspired me to make a loaf. Boy it did not disappoint. I added in some unsweetened cocoa so it was extra chocolatey. I probably will try it with just chips next time to change it up. But it was so delicious. I wish I had your grater, it took me 20 minutes by hand, but I had a Zucchini the size of Baseball Bat. You really scored with that box of Zucchini. Shredded Zucchini in the freezer is a Good Thing, I 'd say. Pretty soon you will be heading into warm weather and We are heading into Cold. Hard to believe. I am cherishing every last minute. The Field Corn in Central Illinois is starting to dry out, but the tassels are a beautiful golden brown in the late summer sun. But tons of Bugs, crickets and spiders. EEK!! Hopefully we will get a peek of Australia in the Winter, with your camera in the car. I have never been there. I would love to see what you love about the Landscape in your country. You have such a beautiful way of looking at things. Happy Day, Zucchini blessings.
I'll have so many Zucchini I don't know what to do with them in summer! hehe. Our winters tend to look a bit dryer a bit browner, but not a whole lot different, we have such mild winters where I'm driving through, frosts, but not significant and not lengthy, only over night and warm during the day! I'm thoroughly looking forward to the growing season, but not the heat, the days at the moment are so pleasant, only about the 20 mark, cool enough to get everything done!
For a right hander to teach a left hander you sit in front of a mirror. They watch the mirror which changes there view to there way. Happy teaching. My son is a lefty.
We don’t have any overhead cabinets, but maybe I need to think about something that goes on the wall behind me once we get the pantry sorted/roof sealed!
If you could get a few of those little butcher’s hook-type things you’d be able to hang those off the top of your shelves (the holes in the uprights, where you adjust the shelves) then you could hang the alligator-type clips on those for drying your silicon sheets. I have them for hanging things off a pole in my kitchen (cups, utensils, nothing heavy) - the hooks are not sharp but putting them high would keep them out of reach of the younger ones if that’s a concern. Or even some of those plastic stick-on type hooks to go on the inside of your lower cupboard doors? Every time I see you make bread my tummy goes into overdrive wanting some!
That looks delicious. Maybe hang a wire somewhere and clothespin the liners. I love the utilitarian look to the kitchen space. Looks like a kitchen that really gets things done.
Yes, I was thinking about one of those fold out washing lines maybe, maybe I could use it to hang my pasta as well lol, still figuring the space out! :D
I hang my silicone sheets and mats on skirt hangers which then hang on large cup hooks on the inside of my pantry door. They're out of the way, but handy; they're not flat and collecting "waftings" or having things sat on them. I'm in central Victoria, so we don't get the humidity in Summer; but maybe a thin towel between each of the sheets/mats would keep them aired?
It seems like skirt hangers are a winner for this! I'm just going to have to find somewhere to hang those hangers, maybe once the pantry is built I can have some hooks in the wall that I use, at the moment, I'm not sure where I'd put them, I'll have to think about it! Thank You!
Wow those loaves of zucchini bread looked perfect! Seriously! You are just an amazing cook! I would suggest maybe using like a clothes pin to hang them up. I hope that's what you guys call them too, lol. Then you could just clip them to hang n dry on anything.
I use extra large alligator clips to hang my prep/silicon mats. I take one of the silver part 'toggle' (not really sure what to call it) and pinch it in to get it out of the main portion, I then loop it through a chain(think of the clips at the stores that hang things/toys/ chips) and pinch the toggle again to secure it in place. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this well at all.
Thanks for the recipe. Have you tried TM Essentials for any of your Thermie bits. They sell the tin liners as well, plus lots of other fabulous things. They work great. I find that the round ones work well in a square tin also.
I have heard if the lefty watches you teach them using a mirror it helps. I had a child that was a lefty and he used to write things from right to left for a while...I needed a mirror to read it😅

I never have space near my sink lol, but yes I wonder if I have a cake cooking rack wide enough!

Yes, or sitting directly in front of you, mum is left handed too and that's how she learned, but its still a bit of a mind twist hehe :D
I hang my silicone mats on a skirt hanger and then from a cabinet knob until they dry. Then I can roll them up and put away in a drawer.

Hooray for lefties. That plate off food looked delightful.Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to share with us.
It’s awkward watching her sometimes lol! Thank you for watching :)

I do have some of those s hooks, that would work, the clips on that to hand them on!

THANK YOU! I really enjoy your content.
Thank you! I am glad :)
That zucchini bread looked absolutely delicious.. Great video.
It worked really well, I like the high quantity of zucchini :)

Yes, I think a peg/pin or as has been suggested a foldback/bulldog clip would work, I just have to figure out where from heh

Hrmmm, I think I know what you mean, I might have to grab an alligator clip and have it in hand to follow though lol :D. Thank You!
You made it look so easy!!! Keep sharing please… love your channel :) I’m subscribed! 😋
Thank you! Lots of practice :D
Everything you baked today looked delicious 😋
Thankyou :D

I haven’t looked! I will have to! Thank you. :)
Those breads look yummy
Thank You. :D
Must have been zucchini day. I made 4 loaves. One for now and three for the freezer.
My kids devour it more quickly than I can freeze it, lol, especially in winter where it lasts in a container on the bench for a few days!
I have heard if the lefty watches you teach them using a mirror it helps. I had a child that was a lefty and he used to write things from right to left for a while...I needed a mirror to read it😅
What if you use those trouser coat hangers , the type with 2 clips to hang your liners ?
everything looked yum by the way
Yes! That had been suggested by a few people I’m definitely going to have to give that a go!
Your daughter mixing zucchini bread is beautiful. I tried buying your tall canning jars but here in the states they are cost prohibitive for me.
Canning jars in general are expensive atm :S. She loves to help! it always takes longer but I appreciate them wanting to help :)
