- The City of Spokane is safe at last, thanks to SPD's newest police officer! Seven-year-old Sierra, who is battling Hodgkin's lymphoma, wished to be a police officer for a day. After training, Sierra hit the streets and apprehended Spokane's most wanted.

A huge Thank You to the Spokane Police Department for making the young girl's dream come true, I liked how she handcuffed the actor playing a wanted fugitive!!! I pray that God heals her of her disease and she can later become a Spokane Police Officer when she comes of age!! I am very sure she will not forget how she was welcomed into the ranks!!! I am also sure officers had to hide and cry as they made this young girl's day!!

Austin Bridges you know I have had cancer too. Twice. I see what your saying though I’m really sorry especially since I’ve had cancer myself. Anytime I see something that has to do with cancer I get mad and focus on the bad things. I’ve had my make a wish too. I went to Kansas City to see the chiefs. Thank you for saying this to me because it made me realize that cancer is really bad and I should just think that he’s alive and happy and not be surprised that she’s a she. I just wasn’t thinking but when you said this I thought of how bad it was when I had chemo and I never want to do it ever again thank you again

I'm sorry that you have had to endure the horrible effects of cancer but I am so glad that you lived to tell your story and make an impact on other people's lives!
