Nice recipe! I'll definitely not be cooking twelve dishes for Christmas lol, this one sounds like an easy breakfast. Just one question: when you add so much coconut milk and cream, how strong should the flame be? It seems to me that it might take several hours for all the liquid to get absorbed or evaporate if you cook it on simmer.
@daniil_berezhnov On the stove, you want to keep it at barely simmer, because otherwise it might burn or boil over. But at that heat, it's about 40-45 minutes from start to finish. In the oven it does take a bit longer, but if you have a large pan like I did, it'll be about an hour or so.
Now I want porridge and Karelian pies 🤤Delicious looking stuff, I can smell it until here!
Thanks. Go ahead and make some! Good thing is you can just make more porridge and use some of it for the pies.
Riisipuuro was never my favourite at Christmas dinner, but the liver casserole was the best!
It's interesting, I don't associate liver casserole with Christmas, but a lot of people do!

@kristinrae1 Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah I know I often forget to post the recipe, but I'll try to post it more often in the future!
