Guys please stop comparing Mumbai to other cities. It's not fair. Mumbai has its own charm and its own problems. Mumbai still has a loooong way to go. People comparing Chinese cities probably havent even visited China. Chinese cities are far ahead of most cities in the US and Europe and S America. Forget Mumbai. Mumbai cant even compare to KL or São Paulo or Johannesburg. The road infrastructure of Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok are far better than Mumbai. Its a joke comparing Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul or HK when comparing Mumbai. On a scale of 1 to 10 if China is 10, USA is 8, KL 6, Mumbai is probably just a 3 or 4. People need to visit other countries as I have before comparing Mumbai to other cities..

In terms of a South Asian city, Mumbai is ok to look like this. But in comparison with other Asian cities, it is still far behind. Indian government should develop it and other Indian cities more to look more beautiful and gorgeous like Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Dubai etc. All the best. 👌

Buildings are really good in Mumbai but roads are too narrow to serve these buildings.
It’s okay for roads to be narrow. Widening roads caused induced demand leading to more traffic. Good public transit like a metro or tram system is what’s required. Many world class cities around the world, particularly in Europe have narrow roads and instead people use transit to get around.
