I think Evie should be the focus of the next movie and I don't think it would out of the question for her to become queen. I can totally see a Descendants 4 with her as the main protagonist. Just imagine if Audrey in her dastardly ways somehow brings back Maleficent and together they plot to bring down Mal with Audrey becoming Mal mom's new apprentice. Well they succeed by putting Mal under sleeping curse, the same one Maleficent put on Aurora decades ago. With Mal out of commission and Ben probably a prisoner, the villains successfully take over Auradon seemingly unopposed. Except Evie rallies all the gang and using her wits and her magic mirror finds a way to defeat Audrey and Maleficent and bring Mal out of her slumber. In the end because of her great leadership the people elect Evie to be the new queen of Auradon. I know its pretty unlikely Disney would dethrone Mal but that's something to think about.

I think Evie should be the focus of the next movie and I don't think it would out of the question for her to become queen. I can totally see a Descendants 4 with her as the main protagonist. Just imagine if Audrey in her dastardly ways somehow brings back Maleficent and together they plot to bring down Mal with Audrey becoming Mal mom's new apprentice. Well they succeed by putting Mal under sleeping curse, the same one Maleficent put on Aurora decades ago. With Mal out of commission and Ben probably a prisoner, the villains successfully take over Auradon seemingly unopposed. Except Evie rallies all the gang and using her wits and her magic mirror finds a way to defeat Audrey and Maleficent and bring Mal out of her slumber. In the end because of her great leadership the people elect Evie to be the new queen of Auradon. I know its pretty unlikely Disney would dethrone Mal but that's something to think about.
