Second, on the very off chance that Jafar did knock up Jasmine, the kid pops out of the mom, so unless Jasmine was heartless enough to ship her newborn off to an isle crawling with thugs, Jay would have grown up in Auradon and he wouldn’t have met the other VKs until they came to Auradon, and that’s clearly not the case. The other way that Jasmine could be Jay’s mom but Jay could still have grown up on the isle would be if Jay was born before the villains were booted off. That would make Jay at least twenty, and he’s sixteen in the movie. Third, Jafar seems so desperate, he’d probably hook up with anything female, and the poor girl on the isle that he ended up impregnating by accident would probably give the kid to Jafar rather than deal with the hassle herself. Fourthly, back to the Jasmine boning Jafar thing...ew. The dusty, crusty, musty villain hooking up with a hot, young thing like Jasmine? If that makes your stomach churn, then good, it should. But that’s just my two cents on that relationship. Feel free to think what you want.

Remember how proudly Evie told Charming that she could cook and clean and sew? she wasn't ashamed of it, she was gloating about her skills. Even Carlos was kept in the safest place that Cruella could devise because she kept her treasures all in only one place-her closet. He was allowed to drive a sick car that any teenager or car hobbyist would kill to be allowed to take for a spin, and so what if he was only allowed to drive this masterpiece while driving his mother? I'm sorry, but that's just being responsible. They did a lot wrong, but if you look at the kids, they did a lot right as well.

Later on he does as she asks and brings her friend back from death. No big show, no bargaining, just does it. Then give Mal the ember with no strings attached. He actually seems like the most caring parent out if all of them. Knowing Makificent, it may have been an issue that Hades, powerless, became little different from any other man and actually cared about his daughter, but Makificent didn't like the influence he would be and essentially kicked him out. "If you come back, I'll kill her." Or something like that. We don't know. Or Maybe he knew he'd be a shit parent overall and actually thought he was doing better by her by staying away.

Caitlin the books mention that any villains that canonically died were brought back by order of the Beast by the magic of the Fairy Godmother so they can be punished by being exiled to the Isle of the Lost. So technically, Gaston died then was brought back to be put on the isle, at least that’s what the books indicate.

The irony is that, in the case of Maleficent, she might not have been evil in the original stories. Aurora's parents, (Aka, the parents of sleeping beauty), failed to invite her, and when she showed up and even gave them a chance to admit to their mistake, sided with the deemed "good fairies" of an opposing fae court. I actually don't know that much about Descendants, having never watched the series, but couldn't help tuning in since I did grow up on Disney like every other kid. The Gaston theory actually works, and if he died (which he did) it would still work because in the books it said that fairy godmother even brought villains from the dead hence why maleficent, evil queen, and Ursula are there.

@@ignis1267 Mhmm in Percy Jackson World War 2 was caused because Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades took their powers away from their kids so they wouldn’t be too powerful and Hitler (being Hades son) thought that if he added to his fathers realm (the Underworld) he would give him those powers back. And BAM! Just like that, we have the Holocaust. So since Mal is the daughter of Hades, if Descendants and Percy Jackson existed in the same universe they would be siblings.

Caitlin the books mention that any villains that canonically died were brought back by order of the Beast by the magic of the Fairy Godmother so they can be punished by being exiled to the Isle of the Lost. So technically, Gaston died then was brought back to be put on the isle, at least that’s what the books indicate.
Alyssa Surgent the start of descendants Mal said that all the dead villains were resurrected it not all of them died because it said that the King’s and queens were tired of being harassed by the villains right before they were sent off which means that some had to be alive

Tbh I have a theory. Throughout descendants 1&2 mals hair is light purple but in descendants 3 her hairs faded out with purple and blue is growing. I think that mals light purple hair was either just simply hair dye or maleficent put a spell on her for her hair to be you know, purple so no one would suspect it was haydes who was her father

The irony is that, in the case of Maleficent, she might not have been evil in the original stories. Aurora's parents, (Aka, the parents of sleeping beauty), failed to invite her, and when she showed up and even gave them a chance to admit to their mistake, sided with the deemed "good fairies" of an opposing fae court. I actually don't know that much about Descendants, having never watched the series, but couldn't help tuning in since I did grow up on Disney like every other kid. X'D It does seem like an interesting take on things however.
