Greens are tricky, and this video helped me so much. You were right about Saybrook Sage. Doesn’t go yellow while still bringing some warmth, and the gray mutes it enough that it’s not ☘️. A true silvery sage!
I painted my kitchen cabinets green 35 years ago. My paint lady tried to talk me out of it. I said no, I really like green. Got a lot of compliments on them.
Would say rook safe be good in a bedroom. Neutral light. But leave the closet doors and trim classic gray. I have white walls w classic gray tr I love it. But want a change. Would painting the ceiling the same as walls be too much w this color? Thank y
Thank you so much. I’m debobetween ripe olive and Essex green. Do you have recommendations for light color that would go well with it? I’m hoping to do green accent wall and repaint the rest of the walls and ceilings in some light (not white) color but I don’t know what would complement these dark green colors the best. Thank you!
You are amazing! 🙌Thank you for breaking down your favorite greens and comparing them. I’m trying to make decisions to finalize my circa 1761 homes kitchen. Theres lots of original gorgeous dark wood that I think would pair well with green and yellow. I want saturated colors and think evergreen fog could be the green for some of the cabinets. I will have stand alone custom cabinets for a pantry and work station. Do you have any recommendations to pair with SW Evergreen Fog?
Evergreen Fog is pretty versatile, granted you pair it with other muted colors. Look to your decor, what is going on that you can pull out? Do you have a rug, drapes, furniture or artwork that have color/neutral you can pull out?
We are trying to decide on a green paint color for our pantry and laundry. We have painted several sample boards to carry around from wall to wall . The journey started with SW Eclipse but it turned too muddy in lower light. I really want a darker green that stays green. Have you worked with Magnilia's Lemon Leaves?
Which of these paint colors would work best in an east facing bedroom? This will be my master bedroom that has ONLY 2 windows that face east. They are dormers.
Sage sw seems better for outdoors stucco because it's warmer or muddier than saybrook? Trying to pick a blue or green exterior with a dark navy door and a shade of white trim
Which Sherwin Williams green would you recomend in a wall for a living room with light that has the other walls in Pure white? What do you think about Jasper Stone? Thanks so much!
what ceiling color for basement with SW Kale Green walls, oak bar, and August Moon cabinet. Would probably use ceiling color for trim. Floor will be replaced in future.
Hey. Help. I want to paint my headboard white ceilings z color. It’s a beach cottage and I have decorator white and classic gray walls. I gave slot of teal and green in house. I was thinking sea salt. But not sure. Can you help ? Thank you
I am trying to find a nice green color for my home office. Was recommended Cucumber Salad 562 by someone. I showed it to my wife and she said absolutely not! HA I don't know much about it. I am curious on your thoughts? The office space has a some natural light
What’s in the room in terms of decor? Any green? Use that as a jumping off point in terms of your paint color. I think a darker green or a lighter sage green is the way to go rather than cucumber salad.
Hi, I love Tarrytown green - this is what I'm looking for as an accent wall in my office with a large south facing window. I have gray/white floors.....and a natural cedar ceiling so I'm having trouble finding the right green to go with both of those. Originally I was thinking of more of an emerald green as an accent and then the floors changed to a gray/white which is throwing me off. Any suggestions would be awesome, thank you
Hi! I love Tarrytown Green too. It's so hard to make a call without seeing your space. I do offer virtual consultations if you are interested: homelikeyoumeanit.com/hire-me/

Did my kitchen cabinets in a light sage green many years ago and still love the color!
Great information. Green colors are my favorites.
I love green too!
I love Green! I chose Benjamin Moore Garden Oasis for my kitchen and it is lovely!
I'm not too familiar with that green color, but I just looked it up and it's so nice!
Helpful video, especially about undertones and lighting. I really appreciate it, thank you! ❤️
Hope I helped you pick a green paint color you like!
What white shades do you pair with these dark greens?
Love these greens! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!

Benjamin Moore Brandon Beige is a great color that casts green in the light

Great color videos, what is the blue behind you, my wife loves it
That’s Benjamin Moore newburg green. It’s a blue green. It reads mostly blue in our space.

What are your thoughts on Magnolia Wellington Green? Also want input on cream trim colors with green
That's very pretty! I don't advise using cream colors for trim, as it just looks too yellow and dirty. Go with Cloud White with this one.

I have a north facing room. Need help. Looking for a dark/er green for a man's office
any green suggestions for a man's office . North Facing room. It will be an accent wall
The darker colors from this list would be what I would try first. Find one that picks up other decor in the room like a rug or drapes.
What is the best sage green (mid tone) to go with SW Alabaster? This would be in a laundry room with very little natural light.
I used Glidden Soft Sage on my Kitchen & dining room walls. The others in that group are Soft Teagreen & Sage Pond, if that helps.
why does everybody over look Vintage Vogue? It is stunning!
Just looked it up! It’s lovely.
Have you used it in your space? It's in my top 3 choices that I still need to pick from and I would love to hear how it looks in your space.
@Ms.MD7 I used it as an accent wall in my master bath and it is so beautiful!
Came here to look for some green paint options ..but can't miss ur resemblance to 'donna' from the series- suits .. what say fella commentators
Was really hoping you would include BM Chimichurri 😢
