We had like 5 to 6 players when started this game. Usually they're all Valorant players. But they took some time to experience this game. We used to take down Silos and Lea Lab in no time but as soon as the server reset everything and took away their precious time in building their bases and character leveling to lvl 1 again, they went back to playing Valorant again. I'm the only survivor left now fighting against all the odds and making contents. I used to make different types of bases but after joining winter scenario I'm done with making bases now. Chaosweaver will destroy everything.
Mahn..really sorry to hear that friend, must be so hard solo :/ I loved the building aspect too.. We had a blast before Winter, although we had more IRL time than now too. There's definitely a love for the scenario thing, can see the appeal, just not ideal for everyone.. But hey, sure you'll find something! There's so much out there, long as you feel happy, relaxed, fun playplay >^-^< all that really matters with gaming end of the day
the best way to play a game is after you played the new content after the original one form release its best to give the game a rest and comeback after 2 or 3 expansion that way some of the features needed or system that needs to be added will be there and you can enjoy it freely without the mindset of you gonna be left out if you dont play for a day
i found it easier to tackle this game as a casual co-op rather than a true mmo. i found no reason to keep up with others pace since you can't really fall behind and it's really easy to catch up. had someone join last season and they are already caught up while being very casual. i had a couple people in my group who would grind non stop and wore themselves out by the 2nd season. so i think my casual pace is letting me to still enjoy it. at the very least i want to stick around long enough to see the 3rd area. until then it's about finding things to do. right now i'm trying to breed a team of s-rank rare patterned leopards with good traits.
hey hey... no reason for being sorry, Infact it's the same with us, we 9 friends who are all working office going/government officials used to play and still play valorant together, came to once human with expectations of it being a chill fun laid back game and it was at the start for almost 3 seasons but this winter season we felt like it was just the same rinse and repeat thing, and were just grinding every time and doing the same things over and over, even tho it's was more chill than our normal high intensive fps shooter we felt it was just tiring and we shifted to just coming to the server one the 1st and 2nd days to just do the missions like chores and go back play something else other days, now almost 6 out of those 9 have almost left the game including me, if someday they bring something exciting then maybe we'll be back but i'm not seeing that happening anytime soon. Just enjoying a game at our pace and comfort is the most important. And i still love games and both u guys, it wasn't the game that got me her eon the channel but the chill vibe, the editing style, the cozy nature of the videos, and i'll always be there be it any games if it brings me the same comfort from your videos. Peace
Thank you so much for the support! We really appreciate it >^-^< as much as we love the game, we'd much rather play something at our own pace and just have fun when we get the chance.. we just weren't sure if any of you guys would be ok with the sudden change.. thank you so much Ayush! We will definitely be keeping the same vibe regardless of what games we play
I've always said in their Once Human discord and in their surveys this map should be combined with the south map. People usually get bored by season 3 after reaching level 50. This new pelts, chaosium, thermal towers would drive the game longer to actually reach an end of a season. I'd be willing to play longer.
@@HydraKoGaming yeah, we all love and respect the games we like and play, but this IRL thing do make things hard, i myself was very busy this week and was only able to play valorant for 1-2 hours total let alone play multiple games so yeah, games are a means to enjoy and have fun for me, but if I make it a necessity then things shift. Anyways even if there nobody here and you still upload stuff, I'll always be here for the vibes. Take care and I'll be waiting for the next upload
@@Ayush_dunno thank you SO much Ayush >^-^< you've supported us so much, along with many others here, but it really means a lot to us..we're still going to be trying different games in future, but for now we're going back to Manibus :) we're just setting things up, but you'll see us again soon! Hope you've gotten some more IRL time to playplay nice
It's a seasonal game, you know the score from the beginning. They didn't hide the reset and you're told exactly what you can keep, which is all blueprints, formulas, and currencies based around those progressions. Just like Diablo or any other seasonal game.
It can be frustrating, the idea is pretty cool but it's definitely not suited for everyone.. still, that's okay! Tons of players love it and it works for them, there's plenty of more laidback games out there, where we can come and go as we like without much consequence >^-^
@HydraKoGaming i cant really argue that one my thought was that they were transparent about it but they could make servers seperate to the normal ones where its more like an icarus style survive indef type thing
@@jackskellington9475 mmm..fair enough, suppose we all had to see what specific direction they were going for.. that would be kinda cool tho. But guess long as they can keep the main playerbase happy then that is fair, from a dev perspective >^-^
Just enjoy the game at your own pace. If you start to cherry pick reasons to stop playing any game, you'll always find several ones! So you just cant play any games anymore!
Thank you for the kind words friend >^-^< totally agree! We simply can't commit to the limited-time aspect anymore, although it's an amazing game, but there are plenty of awesome games to enjoy at our own pace, so we'll be doing that! Hope to see you there
I'm not sure what your referencing when you say "casual gamer". I have people in my life that play with me, some of them are only able to play maybe 8 hours a week total, sometimes just an hour or hour and a half every couple days if that. And they're able to hit max level, max gear, complete all the content, get all the rewards from the events. It's a seasonal based game with a very fast leveling process and timegated seasonal unlocks, so if anything it protects the casual player. If you just don't have time in your life for ANY game, it's definitely not the games fault. Grow up and get over it mate. The seasonal ideas aren't unique, there are a ton of games that do it and have been doing it for decades. This game is community based, I recommend making friends instead of enemies out of the playerbase and you'd have a better time. We have people in our crew who can't even make it to every server/world, we save spots for them cause there's plenty of room. 4 people can clear everything up to the hardest content on novice and normal servers. No offense, but get out of here with that crybaby stuff. Learn to play better with your time, or just move on.
This video wasn't to bash the game at all, it was to see if those who had been showing us love so far would be ok with the sudden shift..some players can't keep up with the resets while others are bored, and it's impossible for the devs to make everyone happy.. all of that's fine. Sure, it's one thing to bash the game for personal reasons, but anyone who doesn't feel the spark anymore can move on if it's not for them, and they can say why if it's with good intentions. For us "casual" means having hectic weeks where can't game much, and odd weeks where we can game more than usual, not a specific "average" amount of hours per week/month. I'm genuinely glad you have friends and can play Once Human nicely, that sounds awesome. Fair point, we've always been a 2-man squad as well, that won't change.. (if you're implying this game isn't great for solo gamers). IRL makes it hard for us to truly enjoy this game anymore, it's life/time aspects, not the game's fault. Mild personal opinions/ideas can be debated, some may agree and some may hate it, that's all fine. It's just not suited to us anymore, and that's okay. There are no enemies here. Tons of games can be played "casually", on and off, grinded, or whatever else, so not being able to play Once Human doesn't mean we can't play ANY game.. We cannot play THIS game better with our time, so we ARE moving on. We're just eager to have fun at our own pace and thankful we're still shown love here
@@HydraKoGaming So you base your gameplay on if others are playing the game? Instead of quitting the game, get others to join the server you're on. This will boost the server and make others want to play the game too. But when you make a vid like this, no one wants to see this. That means if anyone did like your content, the viewers that you did have going for you, you just lost them. I watched it up to the five minute mark and stopped. The content is rubbish. I wouldn't want to be a part of a community when the CC (Content Creator) won't even play the game that they got their viewers interested in. Good way to screw your community over.
@@syzygy9 We base our gameplay on 1. If we like the game 2. If our viewers like/play the game 3. If we have the means to play the game (hardware, specs, f2p/p2p, etc) 4. If we can commit to playing the game for a fair amount of time. We really thought we'd play this for longer.. so the choice came down to 1. Letting HydraKo go because we can't play Once Human or 2. Letting those who've shown us love here decide for themselves if they want to explore other games with us, they all deserve that much.. We'll always appreciate Once Human for many reasons, every Mayfly who's ever supported us whether they choose to stay or not, every viewer whether they've liked/subbed or not.. this channel was always meant to be relaxed PlayPlay fun before anything else. Of course we're sad to let some Mayflies down, and we're always open to coming back in future if we can, but we're happy some friends here are ready for new adventures with us
