USA here. I've always found something fascinatingly beautiful about old cemeteries and graveyards. They never scared me, even as a child. I guess I was just built different in the late 1960s. Of course, being an American, and a child during the closing years of the Vietnam war, I saw a lot of things on the evening news that maybe a small child shouldn't be exposed to.... but I have to admit, those things did help me prepare for many of the things I would see later in life.
@@IggyStardust1967I am in the USA as well (older than you tho lol I was born in 1948). I was never afraid of cemeteries either. My dad and I would explore them together. All of that history!!! I too am Scottish, Irish , but also French. Love the Cemeteries and graves in Ireland! ❤
What a gorgeous place! The steeple and the beautiful rails, then an enchanted area. I think vandalism is to blame for that vault. Sad. Thank you so much Sue.
I've said it before. You have found your calling. You are wonderful as a narrator and visual presenter. This is a beautiful cemetery. It's very unfortunate that there is vandalism in many of these places. Of course, this has been going on for a long time. Egypt, for example. People are looking for valuables. It's disrespectful. It is such a pretty cemetary the part that is kept nice and the church tower. It is always so nice to pay respects when you can get to the tombs . it is really a beautiful video. God knows what happened. Thanx guys. Have a lovely day. ❤😊❤😊
The solitary steeple is my favorite feature in this cemetery. Seeing a place over run with foliage like that. I am sorely tempted to go in with a riding mower and landscaping tools and clean the place up.

Hey, Sue, have you ever thought about taking "rubbings" of some of the plaques on the churches? I'm not sure if there's a special kind of paper that is commonly used, but I'm sure it, along with a thicker crayon should be easy enough to find. Would make for a really neat souvenir without damaging the original plaque, and could be placed in a large scrapbook type of thing.
@@SerenitySueGraveyards No need to be.... IIRC, the crayons used for such things are fairly soft so that they don't damage what you're doing a Rubbing of. Of course, a few seconds in a microwave would likely soften one up a bit. I'm sure you can find information on how to do it without causing any damage. I know you're always respectful when you go to these kinds of places, and that's something I really like about you and channels like yours.
