Happy New Year Mr B. We had an earthquake in Japan but it was on the other coast from where the biggest cities are. In places like Tokyo and Osaka it was felt but not very strongly. I live in the Tokyo area but am visiting elsewhere at the moment. No member of Band-Maid is from the areas hardest hit, although if Saiki was visiting home for the holidays she might have been jolted just a bit. I'll have to check their twtrs later.
Happy New Year, otobokegaijin, Yes I did see that on the news over here, not a good way to start a new year, for some of the people and I hope everyone is okay,
@@OldMrB I was looking at Lovebites' twtrs and it turns out Miyako was on the Sea of Japan side and had to evacuate. She says she's in a safe place now. I don't know how close she was to the earthquake epicenter, but she says she was near the shore, so even far away from the epicenter she would have to evacuate because of the tsunami danger.
@@OtobokeGaijin6218 We don't know how lucky we are here in the UK, we moan about the weather all the time but we have nothing like that. and I am pleased to here Miyako, is safe if anything happens to any bands, members that would be awful.
Mr B i've seen breaking news on BBC at 7:30am that a 7.6 magnitude earthquake has hit central Japan. Tsunami's have already hit coastlines & authorities have told people to flee because a 5.5 metre incoming wave has been reported. I hope everyone can get as safe as possible.😔🤞
@@waterwalker9600 So do i. I know the buildings in Japan's major cities are the best in the world at coping with quakes. There was just an update on the news that Honshu is worst affected with buildings collapsing & fire breaking out but Japanese authorities have downgraded the Tsunami warning now. The coastal surges looked big but nothing as devastating as 2011 thankfully.
This was pretty impressive. Covering a song as well known as X-Japan's Kurenai is a perilous undertaking. I think I've mentioned before that the violinist, Kamijo, is also a guitarist in the band Shaberanakereba īon'na a band started by Hi-chan of The Heana Cat. She plays a metal-front Zemaitis.
Happy New Year Mr B.

Thank you, yes you may of told me that but these days I don't seem to remember much, and it's been a while since I reacted to The Heana Cat.
